  1. It'd have been more intimidating if it came from the All Blacks, rather than the Tall Blacks.
  2. "I'm sure there are more. But those are all bugs that I have experienced not once, but every time I've played the game." That's actually a good thing. Easily reproducible bugs are much easier to squish. I'm not worried about the bugs. These are fixable. There are however, legitimate concerns regarding content and design. Those are harder challenges as these will involve additional internal play testing and iteration for balance and polish with each significant change. Content and design? Hard. Bugs? Squishy.
  3. Gromnir is ubiquitous. Gromnir is eternal. Long before these boards, there was Gromnir. Ever heard of Galactus? Gromnir is Galactus. That great bogeyman and devourer of worlds that exist as a force of nature. Neither good nor evil. Just a necessity. http://lawandthemultiverse.com/2011/04/06/the-trial-of-reed-richards/
  4. Jade Empire's RPS combat was actually pretty fun and the animations were believable. I wouldn't mind additional Wuxia RPGs - especially if they contain badly dubbed English dialogue. Re: Europa Barbarorum 2. It's a Medieval 2 mod? That's a little disappointing.
  5. LoF was the gay communist right? Yep, I think he was also Krezack. He really put his heart into his drivel. Wait...Krezack or Karzak? Or are they one and the same??
  6. Part of the problem is not the volume of portraits available, but the lack of variance between racial, culture, and class diversity. It'll be addressed in future updates, but at the moment, I can't create a swashbuckling Valian pirate pistoleer.
  7. Kaz's portraits gives me hope that PoE will bump BG one rung further down on my favorite portrait pack ladder.
  8. Start a new game. Corrupted saves is one of the major issues anyway.
  9. Fair enough. I'm curious, was there much news circulating in Serbia regarding a Serb, a Bosnian Serb, and a Croat (via Australia) playing together on the same team (The Golden State Warriors)? I know that Bogut and Nedovic got along with each other very well, and Kucmic and Nedovic were inseparable. Together they were teaching their American teammates Serbian and Croatian.
  10. Excellent. That's my cue to go home!
  11. Icewind Dale series art was strong all around. 1) IWD (Jason Manley) 1a) IWD2 (Justin Sweet ) 3) BG (Mike Sass) 4) BG2 (Mike Sass)
  12. Against Brazil? I think it will be a close game and I doubt they will win against Spain. Anyways I was talking about Serbia vs Brazil. ?? Spain is certainly the best team outside of the US but as to what are you attributing this doubt that the US will handily defeat the Spaniards? As individual players, I respect Juan Carlos Navarro, Rudy Fernandez, and Sergio Rodriguez. They were each legitimate NBA rotation players. Navarro in particular was for a long time the best player not playing in America. Ricky Rubio is a magician with the ball and a hawk on defense. Pao Gasol is still a dangerous post threat. Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka are elite defenders. Along with this accumulated talent, they have been together for a long time and play team ball. That said, they only have an outside chance at best in defeating USA. To say otherwise is delusional or grossly uninformed.
  13. Things aren't looking good for Nemanja Nedovic or Ognen Kucmic. This is an important summer for both of them in terms of their survival in having an NBA career. Injuries to both and lost time for development is going to cost them. They are both dropping fast in Golden State's depth chart and being labeled as injury prone is a poison pill for bubble players. Nedo was especially inconsistent for both GS and Serbia last year and Kucmic was a non factor.
  14. Go play it now, it's on GOG and is cheap. But don't you think its better I wait for the new version of the game? Because I don't want to ruin the excitement ? To be honest, I do think that the art is a significant downgrade from the original pixel art. Plus it'll be difficult to top the original's voice acting. I'm only getting this for the convenience of play on iOS.
  15. Jane Jensen is the Chris Avellone of Horror themed Adventure games. The music by Robert Holmes is brilliant. St. George's Bookshop in particular is my favorite video game track. Confession: I never actually finished any of the games, but I'm getting this on day one of release.
  16. They will take into account useful feedback. They'll discuss internally -consider, implement, discard, and or save for later. The rest is all just noise from uncouth rabble that needs to be filtered out. Rinse and repeat from the Black Isle days.
  17. The BG portraits used real life models from which Sass drew likeness from. Many of whom were early Bio devs btw. However, the old Black Isle community were merciless on critiquing how these some of these characters looked, which probably wasn't very good on the self esteem of many of the models/Bio Devs. So for BG2, Sass essentially stylized the portraits and didn't use life models.
  18. They're all scarry looking.
  19. Impressive. Except that Infinity Engine gameplay > Aurora/Electron Engine gameplay.
  20. If I had a gun, with two bullets, and was in a room with Hitler, bin Laden, and whoever made the BGII portraits, I would shoot whoever made the BGII portraits twice. Mike Sass drew the portraits for both BG and BG2.
  21. So the companion list is also a placeholder, right?
  22. I haven't had significant playtime with IWD since the box release and never completed it due to BG2. Just never went back to it. But I fully agree with Gromnir that it was technically a superior game to BG. Nostalgia definitely plays a significant factor though in my rating BG over IWD in terms of favorites. The IWDEE release will give me an excuse to finally replay it again as an appetizer to Eternity. It actually bumped Wasteland 2 on my playlist.
  23. The thing about Curry is that the conventional rules of what constitutes a good shot does not apply to him at all. For a shooter of his caliber, any open look is a good shot, no matter how far or how much time has elapsed from the shot clock. His Expected Value per shot is as good as Lebron James in the paint. He goes through some dry spells but given a large enough sample size, his percentages and EV are among the all time great, and even more impressive especially when you consider difficulty and volume. I'm biased though.
  24. Had my fantasy football draft. Ended up taking the 49er Defense. Hope they're not all suspended by the season opener.
  25. There just seems something wrong when you can't get with the Muscle Wizard.
