  1. A human rogue that focuses on combat with rapiers and guns rather than any stealth stuff.
  2. I think over the top cynicism is immature. Because to say "everything sucks and everyone's bad" is what angsty teenagers think. I find it more mature to think, yes, there are genuine bad people who are only out for themselves, but there are also genuine good people who want to help people and *surprise* actually end up making people's lives better.
  3. I'd like a new Star Wars game, but that's probably not likely. But anything sci-fi would be good, especially a space opera type, because the only space opera RPG out there is Mass Effect, and I'm not exactly a fan of that "RPG".
  4. I think that's actually a drop-down menu, such that what you type into it isn't actually a selection, even if it's the "same" string of characters as a valid selection. There's nothing visually denoting that as a drop-down menu, as opposed to a simple text-entry field, which is confusing. Same with State. Someone might want to slap a little down-arrow button onto those two bits. Anywhoz... try typing PART of your country name, wait for the list to pop up, then click on your country name to select it from the list. I bet it'll work then. Yeah, that fixed it, thanks.
  5. It keeps on sending me back to address with "Country" selected when I try to check out. I put United States, and spelled it right, why isn't it working?
  6. I'd like choose-able origins, or anything that lets me feel like I'm a part of the world and from there, rather than some foreigner. They don't need to be playable, I'd just like for my character to reference in-universe things and people, or just talk about their life or where they are from.
  7. I think you are confusing D&D on the whole with the Forgotten Realms. Plenty of D&D campaign worlds had very mysterious deities, or were totally unclear about their existence, powers, or motivations. Ravenloft for example. By official, I mean the handy little chart detailing the names and ordering of the planes in the back of the PHB for 1st ed. AD&D. Greyhawk was also pretty much bog standard fantasy and it was definitely the "official" setting for quite some time, Krynn was much the same too. Well, they'd kinda have too, and it's more for the DM anyways than for the players. Some people can't make up entire planar existences on their own very well.
  8. I want characters I hate (in-universe wise) in the game if they're well written. I usually hate badly written characters in a different way; in that I hate their writing because it's bad. One such badly written character is some kind of "designated bro" character. You know, one character that apparently I'm suppose to like, care about, and the game apparently thinks I like, and I have no option to tell them I hate them and everything they stand for. Like Garrus from ME2 and 3, he was so annoying and the game forced Shepard to be his best friend when I hated him.
  9. I'd like some archaic words every now and then, but not like Middle English where it just looks contrived. I'd much prefer them to speak in Modern English, it's easier to understand and it doesn't look silly.
  10. Why not just a random name generator that generates names based on your chosen race/ethnicity/culture?
  11. Project Eternity is a codename, and I don't know if this has been discussed at length yet but, When are they going to tell us what the game is going to be called? Will they just drop the Project part? Or will it be a completely different name? I guess they might not tell us right now due to it might give away what the game will be about, or they haven't decided yet; which I understand I can never come up with good names for things quick. I hope the title has a subtitle of some kind.
  12. I'd like a god who thinks he's all powerful but is really a bumbling idiot whom the other gods laugh at behind his back. Or something like Q from Star Trek, a deity that just wants to show up mess with mortals for fun, and is quite random and foolish.
  13. At the end of anything, whether it be a movie, book, game, etc. you must feel as thought he protagonist accomplished something. That they changed something, if at the end you find out that none of your choices mattered, most people wont take away a sense of accomplishment. The way I see it is in a game, especially an RPG, you can have multiple endings. Some where you fail, if you were incompetent or just died, and some where you succeed. I got over the whole "dark depressing ending is best ending" a long time ago, and when I play a game I want to take something away from it that makes me feel accomplished. It doesn't have to be "all across the board everyone wins, big celebration and **** yeah America!" I'd like more a personal happy ending even if everything goes to ****. Take the Witcher 2 for instance, there's no clean cut everyone wins, but personally Geralt wins in just about every ending. Sure the HRE invades, and bad things may happen to people, and chaos. But Geralt gets some closure and goes away alive. Also cliffhangers suck, they're bad story telling devices in anything that's not a TV show, and should be abolished in video games. You can have untied ends, but I want to see the consequences of my actions during the game.
  14. My favorite would have to be sandy deserts. Something about them I always thought was cool, ancient civilizations lost under the sand, robed travelers trekking the sand, wide open skies. And desert cities, historical desert cities are always great looking. Other than that, I love highlands, swamps, and tropical islands. Tropical islands in shallow warm waters, highlands with old castles and ruins, and swamp towns. I like about all landscapes, though, anything can be made to look beautiful. Only one I like the least would probably be rocky badlands, but even those can look really cool if done right.
  15. Is it too late to join? I added $8 to my pledge a while ago but forgot to ask to join. Just encase it isn't too late, I'd like to be the Lord Commissar, or Colonel-Commissar. But if it's too late, I wont be sad. Seriously...
  16. Ah, okay, I will be asked what I'd like to add on it after the Kickstarter is over correct?
  17. The thing says it's digital only, but I want the physical stuff. Will I have to lower my reward to get the physical stuff or will I get it at the $165 tier with the expansion and Wasteland 2? I know I can just add-on the expansion, but I can only spend so much money.
  18. Oooh, I'm liking these goals, I hope we can make it to 2.8. I'm trying to not be cynical about reaching these. Also, I noticed the little lore bits in the Paladin description. "Darcozzi Paladini" and "Fellows of St. Waidwen Martyr". I wonder what kind of civilization they belong to? The first one sounds kinda Italian (as far as my knowledge of Italian goes) and the other sounds quite English. I hope the Thursday update goes into detail about the nations and cultures of the world.
  19. I it's setting is in a 15th-16th century tech period it wouldn't be medieval. That was the start of the early modern era. I'd like to see an introductions of a lot of the concept that arose from that period. Not copy-pasted, but similar. Especially if there's colonization, which I think there might be.
  20. Yeah, it's weird considering Obsidian's an American company. I guess Obsidian has quite the fanbase in Europe.
  21. I'd like more apparent feudalism. Games like DA never really felt like feudalistic worlds in the way games like The Witcher did. I'd like inter-locking dynasties, old histories, HRE-like nations; which are a confederation of smaller kingdoms under an elected ruler, and suffering peasants. Like really, being a peasant sucked, in DA or even TES you never really had that. Also if there are any republics, I hope they're medieval republics, like the Italian city states or the Netherlands. Not modern representative republics. Old republics were pretty much oligarchies.
  22. I think easy should be just that, easy. Just like hard should be hard. If someone wants to play on easy it's their prerogative, it doesn't affect me or the game whether or not someone is breezing through the combat.
