Me as a customer has a requirements. If a company does not fullfill my requirements, it has lost me as a customer, and does not deserve my money... That's how free market works, you know...

America is named after Amerigo Vespucci, so it might be more of an Italian thing. wasn't Amerigo Vespucci actually a portuguese?

Yes, there is a patch that removes DRM. Just be careful do download the right one (US vs. EU). YAY... Omw to my closest shop Thanks for the info! You can get it for 13? currently on Steam. No thank you, I rather pay 25EUR for the boxed version, which now does not depend on some third party service to be playable...

About Alpha Protocol. Did Sega patched the online activation out already or not? They promised, that they will do it at one time in the future, and I am still waiting for this to finally purchase the game.

If you grind them up into a paste with some basil and olive oil they make a surprisingly tasty pesto. You can give out contraceptive pesto on a party and be safe the next day :mindblown: Sounds like a solid plan, and blessed by a lawyer. Nothing can go wrong now, let's party.

i was referring to the price of the ps3 at launch, along with its launch titles. edit: and i hate online gaming, i assume you were talking to someone else? but who cares about launch titles now? i certainly do not...

13) The company gets hit by a meteor. I didnt realize we were talking about mindless paranoia. Carry on. Actualy 3 of this already happened to me with my Windows XP, so I am speaking from my own experience... Last time when I inserted new SATA drive into my PC, the Windows refused to start unless I reactivated... But comparing customer support of MS with EA is like comparing hotness of Jessica Alba with Kadaffi...

You forget to add 4) You own the game for long time and you purchase new computer and you want to activate it, but cannot due to company went belly up. 5) You own the game for long time and you purchase new computer and you want to activate it, because the company does not support the game anymore. 6) You own the game for long time and you purchase new computer and you want to activate it, but cannot due to the servers being offline for a 3 weeks, due to hackers owning your security measures. 7) You own the game for long time and you reinstalled Windows and you want to activate it, but cannot due to company went belly up. And I can continue with more probable reasons as you mentioned above why any phone home activation sucks ass...

The part, where you install your game into your newly purchased computer and you cant start to play because your game cannot be activated, and therefore is unplayable, due to mentioned reasons? Or you missed the news how it was with Portal 2 on PS3 where you could play PC version of the game after one time activation, but actually was unable to activate it for 3 weeks after the purchase?

Well, that assumes that you lose your internet connection more often than your discs. I've had 10 minutes of noticeable downtime in the past year, so that reverses the situation for me. My first game is from 1987 on ATARI 800XL. I still do know where I have it stored, if I would ever find a need to play that game ever again, and I found that my old ATARI is still working... Never ever ever lost a disc/manual/whatever you needed to use to be able to play that game... So yes, I am losing my internet connection more often then I do lose this stuff... All you need to do is have a better system at storing your hobbies, and never ever allow to touch them by your parents/girlfriends/wives/pets/kids/sisters/brothers/aliens... This always worked for me...

Hell no, online activation is one time only. With a disk check you can lose the disk and never play again. Though ponder for a minute what happens if the company belly-ups? Or someone hacks their activation servers... And man would think, that humankind would learn something from PSN outtage...
