Anyway, pretty solid explanation, how Dawnwalker "urgency" works. I have to say, based on what I have read here from you, and this design review, I have found out, that I actually would like to see such mechanics to be used more (ideally bundled with "story mode" with disabled timers).

For me the text reviews are better option than having a stars. With text reviews, you have at least some chance to filter out some trash from the pool of reviews. It's impossible to filter out trolls from Stars or % reviews, and that can negatively affect my purchase much more, than bunch of Chinese players review bombing newest balance patch, because all forums, where other people communicate are banned there 🤷‍♂️

I would recommend you to check some reviews for these games: Solasta + expansions Swordhaven Black Geyser + expansion Colony Ship Earthlock Battle Chasers Ruined King Both Pathfinder games all from my wishlist or catalog . Looking at the latest press release by MS, where they published that they are still finding a proper way to solve the Arkane "issue", I find this very unlikely unfortunately.

Still slowly moving through the Tales of Hearts R. It is much linger, than I have anticipated (clocking at 50 hours atm, mostly because I am as always obsessed to talk to everyone 🤣). I think, I might be close to the finish line. Some new sidequests are slowly unlocked, but still I am not able to travel with a ship whenever I want, which means a lot of islands have not been visited by my group yet. We'll see. But still, The more I play, the more I like that game. Just there are few Vita features, which are not the best executed on Vita TV due to lack of touchpad, which lowers a little bit the immersion.

New game of already defunct Midgar Studio coming soon. On the first sight, it seems like fusion between Takes of Berseria and Tales of Arise.

As much as I like playing the games same way as you do, I have no issues to play once in a while some games with different type of design, as my typical type of games. Of course I need to find that mechanic fun in the first place. Because of that, it would be no different for me to play 3x such a game for 20-25 hours with different quests and playstyle in each playthrough, than playing one single playthrough for 80-100h with all of the sidequests being cleared. If I would not find this type of mechanics fun enough, I have no issues to skip that game completely, and play another TB CRPG instead The FOMO can be sometimes high, but thankfuly, I have learned some time ago, to accept, that some of the game were just not made for me (like Sekiro - I love souls games, but for this game, my reflexes were already to slow when the game was released, so I just watched few let's plays while at hotel during my business trips).

Last GTA I've played was 3. Spent probably 15-20 hours in it, and then my open world fatigue kicked in and never touched any GTA again. Beating hookers is not something what I would call entertainment 🤷‍♂️

How did I missed this? Inhave noticed this for the first time today, and I am hyped more, than during any other release last few years. Seems like Mamoo’s GOTY 2026… Released day one on GOG as well 🫠

I hope this will get into GOG at some point. I liked what I have seen in few reviews.
