And it seems that there have been a lot of explosions near the Severomorsk Nuclear Submarine docks in Murmansk as well, filmed by Russians. No words about this from UA yet.

Ukraine has performed massive drone attack against strategic bombers on 5 bases in Russia including Murmansk and Irkutsk (which is the first attack against targets in Siberia). Still alternating between Star Ocean 6, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Mortal Kombat 11. In SO6, I ended up for the first time in the space and had first encounters with main villain faction. So far, the story is the best out of last three games, but the difficulty on the Galaxy (normal) level is so easy, that I get bored once in a while and postpone my next session for later and later. I wish I knew that before I launched the game. In MK11 I play once in a while against one guy from neighboring town. He is probably the best KoF player in Slovakia, and I can see his experience even in MK11, which he started like a month ago or so 😅 I am able to play very balanced matches against him, but he wins more often then I do. I also keep playing against him in CoTW, where he pretty much destroys me in few seconds. Me winning a round against him is on par with a miracle 😅 But still good experience. I am now able to perform some basic high damage combos with Terry, but only in training mode. Sigh… I am almost never able to perform them against real players. As soon as there is some stress factor in the fight, my combo muscle memory just turns off, and I can’t punish the other guy properly 😩. My winrate is still above 30%, but I am still at the Newcomer category 😁 despite seiing some guys with the same winrate in C+ category. Need to practice more vs fight to stay more calm to be able to perform my combos… Oh, and I am slowly preparing regional “championship” in CotW and Tekken in my hometown for October. We’ll see if it will play out good. It will be very hard to get sponsors for it, as our government is tanking our economy faster than Trump can say “Tariffs” 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately nothing which required/s Ubisofts stupid DRM was added and probably will not be added in the future, unless Ubi gets sold to someone more willing to remove it from their games.

Coming back to the thread after 6 months and reading through it has some some exceptional qualities. There are already emerging speculations, that this means some unnamed country is already disassembling western long range missiles, which will be assembled back at Ukraine and written all over it with cyrilic to bypass all existing restrictions for Ukraine 🤷‍♂️ (basically they are mimicking some automotive EU companies, which are successfully avoiding US tariffs in the same way)

It was really, really challenging fight for me. But compared to others, like King's Pets at Frigid Outskirts, I consider it as a pretty fair encounter. I have really enjoyed this encounter despite failing 30 times before victory. For me it seemed as a peak rhythm encounter, as sound hints helped me a lot to properly dodge his attack (despite messing some of them 😛 ) My biggest challenge was, that I missread all the features of Lightning Clutch ring, so I have probably wasted 20 or so attempts before I have noticed the real reason behind his hard as truck hitting attacks 😄

Finally, my Fume Knight NG+ solo fight has gone through the queue 😄 I have almost messed up, but in the end attempt nr. 31 was successful, and it has become one of the hardest challenges in game, which I was able to overcome 😄

Looks like miracles sometimes happen 😄 After I got asskicked for the first hour at Casual Matches, I have tried just for the giggles the Ranked for the second time. And it looks like Ranked Matchmaking might got a little better. 6 fights today 5 wins and 1 loss 😄 My first attempt was 0-6 😄 So either some miracles happened or there are more people much above my league in Casual than in Ranked So my ranked is now 41,7% win rate (5-7 Rank Rookie V) and my total online play is at terrible 17% 😄 Still having a lot of chaos with the stick, but it seems, that my grip on the bat top has improved a little bit

The funny thing is, that for me, I have much easier to perform under pressure the Ignition, Redline or Hidden Gears than DPs 😄 I have checked today my online performance, and my winrate is currently at 16%. I feel so weak compared to MK11, where I almost never get under 50% winrate 😄

A miracle has happened. I have won my first 10 online battles in Fatal Fury for a trophy 😄 I still sucks at arcade stick, but changing Balltop to Battop on the lever made the controls a little bit more comfortable to use for me 😄 Still missing some inputs, but hopefully, I will get there one day 😄

More Star Ocean 6. Story for now is unfolding fine. My main issue is still to easy difficulty. Exploration is still fine as well. Just the travel around the world is getting tiresome and I did not left the initial continent yet. Because of that, the pacing feels a little bit off. For now, I have to say, I have enjoyed SO4 and SO5 more. Although the story and characters are for now more likable than in SO4 and a little bit more interesting than in SO5. So I hope the pacing and difficulty will get better soon.

My oh my, I went for the first casual fights in new Fatal Fury. In MK11 I was able to keep 55/45 win loss ratio, but here… not a single fight won in 1 and half hours I suck horribly at that game 😄

I have started the playthrough of Star Ocean 6. As always for my blind playthrough, I have picked Galaxy difficulty, but it feels so easy this time 😕 Besides that, they implemented flying/gliding mechanics into the game, which added nice twist to the game, with few interesting environmental puzzles, which use this feature. Especially in the second town, where I have spent almost an hour to get all of the chests 😅 I am now a little bit over 6 hours into the game, so can’t comment much on the story yet, as it still starts to unfold. I have picked Raymond for my first playthrough.

Ronaldo is IMHO very strange choice for this kind of game, but his gameplay is certainly very interesting. Salvatore on the other hand, is ridiculous and hard to learn meme character, but IMHO he is kinda fitting into the roster, especially due to he being close friend to Duck King in the lore (he has few moves resembling his). And SNK did really good job researching the guy. MK has gone to far from what I liked about the franchise in his last two installments, so I have purchased Fatal Fury as my new Main fighting game, and from my first impressions, it seems good choice for me, although I am fully aware, that I will be struggling a lot in the next few months 😅

I have decided to give a go to Fatal Fury: City of Wolves fighting game. The optimization is very good, I can play the game on Ultra Settings on my 4 year old Ryzen 9 5900X with Radeon RX 6900XT. I have went through all of the Tutorials, and then trained a little bit with one very good King of Fighters players. My biggest issue with that game is blocking. I have almost exclusively played Mortal Kombat games since Sega Mega Drive/Genesis days, where you have dedicated block button, and this game has the classic blocking with ⬅️ or ↙️ input, and I can’t force my brain into accepting that 😅 and of course, my opponents can easily exploit this. I am still having fin, but I will probably have to spent a lot of time to recondition my brain to different behaviour.

Let’s hope so you both are correct. I actually like the idea of SW Tactics, but EA is a big red exclamation mark for me like forever…
