Goal nr. 6/2025 achieved July 7, 00:45 – Star Ocean: The Divine Force has been finished today on Galaxy Difficulty on my PS4. My first playthrough has been done with Raymond and it ended with Laetitia's ending. The 6th game had IMHO the best story of the last three games for "modern" consoles, but on the other hand the Galaxy Difficulty has felt so easy, that I felt sometimes boredom, when the story has not been moving forward in a timely manner. Thankfully it has changed a little bit before the end, when at some areas even some mobs had made me a little bit of trouble. But this was also a side-effect of replacing a dedicated party healer with another party member, which would be almost impossible to do in previous games, as the healing items has been always pretty expensive. The only thing which I had to watch out for, was to purchase enough of them every time, I have visited a city. In the end I had enough fun to recommend the game to anyone who likes JRPGs, as it is worthy addition to Star Ocean franchise, but keep in mind, you should start at Universe Difficulty to enjoy it better.

More Fatal Fury. I am getting asskicked a lot, but somehow I am still having enough fun to play it. I can have a pretty nice fight against C-ranked opponents, but I always end up failing for some bait, so in the end I lose the match, but it is not so one-sided anymore. The matchmaking is still pretty fine, and I am getting matches every 30-45 seconds on average, which is not bad. But I am now lately getting more higher ranked opponents, so my win rate dropped to 24%

After some break, I am back to Star Ocean 6. And as always, I stumbled about something, that I hate in some of the RPGs. I am currently at a bossfight, which might or might not be a final bossfight. Up until now, all fights have been easy peasy fights, where you could fall asleep and still win (my bad, due to me picking wrong difficulty at start) including the last dungeon. And then you hit the wall. Final Boss kicks your ass so bad, that you are wondering what happened. And of course after 30 minutes of fight 🤣

Repost into the proper thread 😄 What a lovely year. Bamco has announced on their latest Tales of Festival, that they will announce this summer new Takes of Remaster for 30th anniversary. The hottest contenders are Tales of Xillia 1 and Takes of the Abyss. My choice would be the Abyss, but knowing how Bamco likes free money for least ammount of hassle, it will be probably Xillia 🤷♂️

I really hate to play any FPS with gamepad on console. I have tried to play Dishonored, finished the game, but then, I have rather repurchased the games again on GOG, so I would not need to play with gamepad only for all eternity... That being said, Playing any Unreal game with Gamepad feels like worst kind of heresy

From what I understand (might be wrong though) is that it should be part of the game mechanics. How deep that mechanics is, is anyone's guess. EDIT: Oh and Outer Worlds 2 will be released at the end of October. Price tag will be 80USD. No mention, if it will be released on GOG as well.

Another interesting turn of events today. There are reports (including russian one), that UA infiltrated a train In Zaporrizhzhia with drones, in a similar way, that they infiltrated the trucks few days ago. The results again from Russian sources are dozens of destroyed tanks and other armored vehicles, which were en route to supply the frontline. UA sources are saying 13 tanks and 100+ armored vehicles of various types.
