  1. Wing Commander: Prophecy 2 Anachronox 2 Privateer 3 Final Fantasy IX-2 Planescape: Torment 2 Icewind Dale 2 in 2nd Edition AD&D with all the kits included, which were announced before changing the game into 3rd Ed. EDIT: Oh my oh my, how could I forgot... remake of Black Crypt is everything I dreamed about, after I found out info about this game, and that it was reelased only on Amigas
  2. Unfortunately lot of EU countries do not have access to PSStore nor Xbox Live.
  3. 2 greylord. The biggest problem is that many of the amazing JRPGs which were localized in english for PS1 and PS2 were not released in PAL territories, I am EU And yes unfortunately I was serious about getting bored with every single FPS game I played after UTC and Q3, and I have finished lot of them, atm I have just stopped to bother even borrow them from my friends not even to pay for them I do not care about graphics that's why I still prefer game of UTC over any other newly released FPS... And big thanks for the list, I will try to get hand at some of them.
  4. Ok on Monday I will be in the only shop who still sells this game in my country and will be taking Eternal Sonata home, thank you for the recommendations Anyway, I might be very strange figure with very very strange taste in games, but here is the list of the games I realy enjoyed from JRPGs I played all FFs except FF3, and my top 5 favourites are: FF IX (IMO best FF game ever created, I wish SE would do at some point FF IX-2 at least for PSP or VITA) FF X FF X-2 (yes I actualy liked the game, not because of the story, which was typical JPop story, but the ATB system is IMO the best combat system in any FF game I played) FFVII FFXIII (yes for some reason I liked XIII as well O.o) other JRPGs I played and liked: Knights of Xentar on PC - really interesting piece of game, I tried it without knowing what kind of game it was, and then after few hours I found out that it is kind of soft porn story O.o I finished the game and liked it despite the more spice nature of the game Star Ocean I and II for PSP Star Ocean IV for PS3 Atelier Rorona PS3 Atelier Totori PS3 Disgaea 3 PS3 White Knight Chronicles PS3 Hyperdimension Neptunia PS3 Demons Souls PS3 Dark Souls PS3 Unfortunately I was PC exclusive player until 2009 so I missed out a lot of awesome games on PS1 and PS2 and I am atm trying to get as much out of them as possible. I have but never played Chrono Trigger, Chronocross, Star Ocean III, Disgaea 4 and Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2.
  5. Thanks guys, thread like this was badly needed here, at least for me Suikoden I and II already on the way to me Aaaaand anybody played Eternal Sonata and Katherine on PS3, would you recommend them to me to buy them? And unfortunately, I do not see any info about Suikoden III release for PAL territories
  6. All excellent reasons. Since 99% of my gaming is online I guess Im just used to it. It never crossed my mind as a negative. Actually very big shame for them, I was really crazy about the game, when they announced it (same when they announced SCII), but the always online connection cooled down all my interests... Anyway willing to buy Starcraft II BattleChest, after they finnish all the games, if they patch out the always online DRM...
  7. Umm yes, the RealID... I have completely forgotten about it... actually it was a reason why I have put parental controls on my own WoW account, bacause that was the only way, how to opt out of it... I think they made some changes later to the RealID, but I do not care anymore, I cancelled all subscriptions, and I still have unused Cataclysm serial key...
  8. Atelier Series is interesting on PS3 as well, but the problem is the game is about lolis and all the game are is based around this, so if hate that staff, you will probably not like the game as well Or just pretend the characters are 5 years older
  9. Stupid question... It's DRM bitching of course /just kidding But the main reason is that I value this forums as the best source of recommendations for good RPG games, with the exception of people with no taste in games like Volo and some FPS lovers Almost no elitism here and very nice bunch of people with similar taste in WRPGs, like I have. Shame there is not many JRPG lovers here as well, it is even harder to find good JRPG localized in English or German or Russian, than to find decent WRPG... Anyway, any lame JRPG still offered me better entertainment than any FPS I played after Unreal Tournament classic and Quake 3 Arena...
  10. Hmm turnbased or real-time that is really the question... I prefer turn based games, but lot combat in these games starts to get very boring when you have a lot of enemies, fighting single encounter 10+ enemies can get at some point a big deal. Real Time Combat is fun, but it can be affected badly by small mistakes in pathfinding, scripts of some abilities. My favourite Turn Based Combat in RPG is Temple of Elemental Evil, my favourite Real Time Combat in RPG is in Baldur's Gate 2. And there is a mix of these two seen in many JRPGs. What I would recommend you is to sit with your guys and ask yourselves what game you played had combat system you liked most And then try to make it in your game even better Whatever will be your final decision, I wish you luck and as much sales as possible, and please, when you release the game, put it at some point at GoG as well. We, no DRM folks, will be very grateful, and we can really appreciate the love you show to us
  11. Porns have plot too, but I did not seen anyone promoting them here
  12. Yup Legolas meets G.I.Joe meets Denver Broncos lulz
  13. When I spend avg. 20 days in a month travelling or flying around the Europe, why should I have to trouble myself with finding a hotel with unlimited and fast enough bandwith, which allows you to use torrent traffic (Blizzard Downloader which is used for patching all current Blizzard games is torrent downloader if you do not know that), when I can just open my laptop and run hundreds of other games without this retarded requirement. And I am not speaking about some hotels which ask 20+ EUR a day for wi-fi connection...
  14. It still puzzles me what a guy with your taste in games is doing on a RPG developer forums and how in the hell is he able to have almost 9k posts...
  15. I would like to join you, but until Blizzard removes perma online requirement for Single Player, I will not buy this game... Its a shame, I spent more than 4 years playing D2 SP and MP...
  16. Please let that happen
  17. Sam and Max Hit the Road... That would be the best movie ever :D
  18. Playing Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. Pretty fun but got stuck at challenge tower 185, so I played some Online matches and the matchmaking system realy sucks... You either get some random noob who starts the game for the 1st time, or you get some guy who owns you in 10 seconds But got all ranked match trophies in 1st day of online play, except I'm Not Dead Yet...
  19. Awesom story Especialy "THE AMAZING STORY OF STEVE AND JOHN, THE EXECUTIVES" :D
  20. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2012/03/ea-announces-server-shutdown-for-14-games-citing-dwindling-player-numbers.ars?src=fbk 14 games getting axed online gameplay, including one with Online Pass... Courtesy by EA
  21. I do not know what it is, but there is definately something strange with Dark Souls... I realy enjoyed Demon's Souls, but somehow I am missing something when playing Dark Souls...
  22. Anyone tried Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition yet? Does it require Online Pass as well or you can play Multiplayer out of the box? Thinking about finally purchasing the game, but we still don't have PSStore here yet and paying full price for incomplete game is out of the question...
  23. Why is here everybody talking about probing your anus? O.o
  24. Only Demon's Souls and maybe Dark Souls deserve this title nowadays... Aaaaand you can bet your ass that lot of people will be in 10 years still talking about FFXIII, because of it's controversy, but I do not think, this is enough to make it a classic like VI, VII, IX or X
  25. FInnished FFXIII-2, I must say I was pretty impressed with the game and realy enjoyed it
