The man tells the truth!!! Alien versus Predator 1 wins the "Best Atmosphere Ever Award" in a FPS game... I never played 2, but iirc 1 was really atmospheric. It was like being right in the movie. It was also dang hard, too. AvP 2 was imo not so good as AvP 1, but i still can recommend it to you, just dont play it on hardest difficulty when you play it for the first time

In lot of previews there are spoilers about the MotB plot and endings... and yes i am waiting for the new AI and new feats to be able to choose to play with in MotB

I have found myself in the same quandary. With the release date coming up I'm a bit impatient and want to know all I can, yet with some of the latest information there has been info I'd rather not know. I know if someone was to post a new interview link after this I would undoubtedly check it out. Yeah, I don't want to read them, but I sometimes cannot resist either. i found myself only looking on pictures in preview lately and the closing the page as fast as possible i have still not finnished MotB, stopped to play after SoZ was announced, so i am trying to do my best to avoid any spoilers

I'd sooner believe Devil, than anyone from EA... especialy, when they are talking about supporting their games... i've seen lot of promises from them about Origin, Westwood and Bullfrog... and we all know how these promises ended up... With EA Purchasing Bioware, I was thinking giving them another chance, but with the **** they pulled with Mass Effect, i was just convinced, that i rather go get Rabbies than purchasing anything from them again... My last game from EA was Wing Commander Prophecy Gold, and that will remain until the end of the world...

You would change your mind about virtual punishment, if you have put 6 or more month into your character and some jerk would log onto your account and transfered your character to his account... If every single hour i spent with my character last four years cost 1 Euro, i would have lost 4512 Euro if that would happen to me... Tbh i would like to see that person rot in prison somewhere in Uzbekistan for that...

Bah, when you complaining about graphics, look at AoC.... Very demanding graphics is besides the bugs the biggest reason why AoC failed so hard getting more subscription, very few people can play it good... WoW on other hand i have more than 2 years old Athlon64 3500+ with 2GB RAM and i can play it on 1680x1050 on maximum details with FPS in range of 20 to 80 depending on location and number of people around... I dont want to see how AoC would run on my machine... and I take WoW graphics over AoC, ME or Crysis anyday... at least I dont need to fork out 1500EUR for new PC every year... This does not mean, that i will be buying the game... i was very excited about it few years ago when the MMO was announced, but now... EA will never see single penny from me, even if that game would be the best invention since sliced bread... they ruined enough in the past and will ruin even more in near future with their stupidly overretarded DDRM policy...

That was pretty much my experience. Exploring the world was fantastic, but nothing about the later levels appealed to me. I'm not a big fan of the grind of MMO's, and WoW was great at masking it until about level 45. I've heard they sped levelling up after the first expansion, so maybe it's less of a grind now. But the gear grind still sounds pretty crazy. compared to other mmo's, it's realy minimal grinding atm... if you think wow is grind, never ever touch lineage 2 or final fantasy XI

What am I looking at there thats a server first? The "Ambassador" prefix? If so, what do you have to do to get it? Is that a new type of dragon mount? The Dragon Mount ... reward for one of the achievements and for the ambassador you have to be exalted with all 4 faction capitals...

Is it really true that consoles are seeing a greater proportion of turn-based games and less emphasis on graphics than PC games? Yes, especialy if you like japanese games and storyteling, you'll be in gamer heaven... I was orthodox PC only gamer until i was 28, when i decided to purchse me Wii and Playstation 2 and i tell you it was one of the best choices i have ever made, just dont do a mistake and never buy EA game on it, or you end up forking out 50 EUR for 8 hour long game... I finnished only 4 games so far (i purchased 16 so far for consoles ), and every single one had 90 - 130 hours played when i finnished them (not counting endless hours when I was figuring out tactics for optional bosses on my own without peek into gamefaqs) i dont remember when i had so much fun with PC games... and yeah if you want to have maximum fun possible, buy only exclusive titles, you can then rest asured that they spent all the time at polishing it into perfection, instead of trying to make crappy port just to be sure they can hit release date for all the platforms simultaneously...

I believe it will recognize the change and make you use a new authorization, if not then people could simply copy files from PC-to-PC and play the game that way. I don't think I've ever heard of software doing this. I mean, I can add ram, change a video card, ad do quite a few other things and even my OS will not skip a beat. That would be a serious issue, but I'd like to see more documentated cases of this actually happening. plugging in and then unplugging new HDD to my machine triggered new activation for my windows XP... Few people had activation of Mass Effect triggereed after plugging in new monitor and similar stupid things...
