  1. Dex modifies your initiative for each round. I don't know by how much.
  2. As thelee points out, Constant Recovery is a passive. It's a fighter-self-heal that runs for a certain time. Likely because they are amped up on special fighter-adrenaline. [Only 20 pires for two ounces. Get yours today. Makes you smell all musky and have the bar for yourself at the local tavern. Also helps in combat.]
  3. And kiting will be a non-thing. No longer can you avoid the boars 'gore' by moving away in the last moment.
  4. But actually, we know it partly from the trailer, IIRC. Xoti casts that-shield-spell. Takes a while. So Serafen gets to have his action between Xotis start-casting and finish-casting. Could be the same. Longer actions uses initiative points or somesuch-
  5. Saw stream. not possible to tell Streamer chose ranger as class and used default attack, so abilities were impossible to gauge. From a mechanical viewpoint the stream was very disappointing.
  6. General patching too. There is a beta patch for testing, and I will seriously doubt their priorities if they haven't tried fixing the broken subclasses 5 weeks after launch. Forgotten Fist is practically unplayable.
  7. There is ofc unbroken fighter. I haven't played them, but trickster rogue should be decently tanky. Wizzards have some melee tank-spells, IIRC. Personally I can't roll a tank-mage. Their low health-pool just kills the illusion of somebody walking to the enemy saying "gimme be your best shot. I'm protected by Ziggasauraths invisible shield and no sword shall penetrate my silken robe as long as Mr Tiddles - my familiar - is breathing." I haven't bothered checking, but I would assume that due to to his habit you could build a decent tanky drug-monk. Probably also a default barbarian or a situational corpse-eater.
  8. Regarding sales numbers. We could do a poll. 1 copy here + [Add yours here] = [Current total] 1 (Yes, i am joking. Unless it becomes a world-wide poll-meme. In that case I was totally serious.)
  9. I want a cameo of Durance arguing with Morrigan from Dragon Age. I'm easy and low-maintenance that way.
  10. It's your bro, Edér! He's got your front. Thats why you bring him. Ofc canon Eddie is a pure fighter - I will wrestle people in mud if they argue otherwise - and therefore you cannot make him a rogue, rouge or wishy-washybuckler.
  11. Ok, I have a basic question regarding resolution between Ernezzo and Spindle Man. If you divulge that Ernie want Spindley dead, Spindley counteroffers you more wares if you kill Ernie. Am I wrong in concluding that this is a lie? I seem to get a 10% discount, but his assortment of wares do not change?
  12. Me, I dunno. I already run every battle on the slowest speed and plenty of pausing, so turn-based might be my bag. We'll see.
  13. Two out of three, almost correct. It's a spread from yeast extract, it looks and moves like tar. And it tastes wonderful!
  14. This is the main point for me. Xoti is pragmatic when it comes to harvest, death et cetera. As a readceran farmer she will have seen plenty of hunger, birth and death. She is far from innocent. It's just the Circle of Life and Death for her. She's bubbly because that's how she just is. Death doesn't scare her, hard work doesn't scare her. As a farmer you learn not to sweat the small stuff. So Xoti doesn't do that. Instead she believes in Gaun. That is how it all (death, suffering, loss, rebirth) makes sense to her worldview. That is the only way it can seem fair. She has a great sense of duty to making sure the harvest goes well. Even the harvesting of souls.
  15. Hmmm, Blackguards 1+2 maybe. But like Shadowfall it's more a turnbased combat RPG with almost locked liniar progression.
  16. Not normal, but possible. I did it once on a test char. I think it is due to your answers not having a specific "weight" towards any of the upgrades (diplomatic, ire, wit) or just a lot of "remain silent". I don't know what this mean for further upgrades.
  17. What to do if you don't like paladins in your party? Those zealf-righteous asses are a bloody pain in the derriere.
  18. Depends. Do you like Marmite? If so, I suggest going single-class chanter. [i'm testing a theory that people who like Marmite, like single-class chanters]
  19. The one thing that the devs stated changed between 3.x and 4.0 was pulling of close enemies. My experience is that 4.0 is slightly easier due to this. I don't see changes in the difficulty of enemies otherwise.
  20. I've had this bug too. With 4.0. If you look closely you can se that the Grub is holding Eder between its mandibles. I cannot remember what triggered it, but If I should hazard a guess, it was something with Eders Mule Kick and bad timing.
  21. The AI sucks at placing AOE's effectively. For instance you cannot default - I know nothing of mods - program a healing AOE-spell to both "hit most teammates" and "include teammate with lowest health", so I would definitely spec Pallegina to do as much healing as possible, also through chants.
  22. Lödwyn [New VO]: "So, you are a priest of Woedica like us, and yet act like a defender for this ... this ... this OATHBREAKER? Have you no respect for the holy wows?" MC: "Say, you suddenly sound different. Is something wrong?" Lödwyn [New VO]: "I.. I feel a cold coming on. A touch of the flu. That is why I suddenly sound a bit gravelly. Nevermind! How do you want to die, defender of oathbreakers?"
  23. Elaborate? Is it the flat +10s effect of Forbidden Fist? Gladly. First and foremost, when applying FF while uncursed - ie, "first time" - it doublestacks. Baed on ability description ("short curse"), damage and resolve math, you can see that instead of having a curse duration of (10s - resolvebonus), it becomes (10s + 10s - resolvebonus). It also applies 25% extra damage to the first punch. That must be wrong, due to ability description. I'm pretty sure that the duration of first use should be base 10 seconds minus resolvebonus. Secondly, if using "Clarity of Agony" in order to shorten curse duration, you might end up with a persistant curse that will not expire. This is likely due to the -5 seconds that COA applies to existing hostile effects. Your curse might end with a negative duration - clearly a bug - from which there is no escaping until combat ends.
  24. I like Skaens Challenge. I've activated Ondras too, but haven't been to sea enough to judge.
  25. I want to point out that Forbidden Fist isn't deliberately bad. It's "just" bugged. I'm waiting for patch.
