Your Deadfire endings
uuuhhii replied to hamskii's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
it is the most boring kind of worst the all conquering evil indiscriminately destroy everyone who doesn't obey them so everyone can just fight one army of villain wear the same uniform -
Poverty with an opportunity to rise is not nearly the same thing, and not all societies actively embrace classist thinking let alone put religious significance to their classes. Well, to paraphrase the Durance, "the last thing the Deadfire needs is another foreign incursion." If you can convince yourself that you're doing good and that it's your place to decide, I guess there's no stopping you. I'm pretty comfortable with a free-for-all ending, myself. If the Huana want freedom, they're going to have to figure it out for themselves. when nobility are still a thing class decided by birth are plaguing everyone and everything ofcourse it must be corrected but don't choose side between huana vtc and rdc has no significant effect on that No. Nobility didn't litterally, at a systemic level, force the poor to eat garbage. ofcourse neketaka have problem feeding everyone do they keep food for thousands extra population somewhere in the tropical island underground vault? the struggle between faction force people flee to the new city huana doesn't have experience governing for centuries the unrealistic part are not how awful the city can be are the fact such city exist at all

Where I live people in cities are encouraged to participate in the economy to the extent their talent and hard work allows them. The main reason I prefer not to choose between outsiders is that the Huana themselves should make this choice. Who am I to make it for them? modern city still have millions struggle in poverty the other outsiders already choose so why not the outsider control by player

Castol are restricted by those stupid shareholder who just want to clean out nature resource of deadfire if there are some possibility of a more independent VTC maybe it can be the good ending but castol are pretty happy in some huana ending -
Quests from the Gullet
uuuhhii replied to Tick's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
gellet are the most interesting part of the city but never know how to get +5 gellet reputation -
never get much of the old world before 2000 year in poe1 too likely it will be in the next od nua in dlc or 3 the 4 city block does have too little content but many fight in sun in shadow was actually not very interesting last time the confusing thing was what the guardian did when engwithan destroy old huana nothing or helped engwithan? watch eothas do all that was a better direction than the legendary hero save the world again
