Unable to download DLC

Haha IT Crowd? :D -
Well you have fighter in there so u can't go bad with it. I'd not dump INT on this guy. With rapid recovery and a good INT score ull prolly never need to waste resources on lay on hands so u can use FoD more. Devil of Caroc breastplate for sure, best one I've seen so far. Other will probably have better more detailed pointers, I haven't even finished the game yet.

Triggered
Dorftek replied to Spoting's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
OP yeah I hear ya mate, sadly this is how it seems to work nowadays. Usually I wait a month or two before buying a new game but with pillars I just couldn't lol. I remember playing thru Fallout 4 on survival wich removed any kind of saving except sleeping in a bed and the game would CONSTANTLY bug out or crash, loosing you sometimes 1-2 hours of gameplay. And this was months after release. As stated above, Obsidian actually care about fixing their product and how they kept patching and updating the first game is why I consider them my favourite game developer. So I have much faith in them until they prove me wrong. -
Triggered

Huh? Triggered means provoced doesn't it? Why is it so serious? (Actually wondering and not trying to be a smartass or anything) -
I went into this game blind on veteran with difficulty indicator turned off and lvl scaling all up running only a solo character. Alltho lvl scaling didn't work so once they had it fixed I started over on a berserker/drugmonk (and no I do not use the broken swift flurry ability) and this feels like the way the game is meant to be played. One character on veteran going in blind actually provides some challange here and there and keeps it interesting. I really really hope they get Potd right so I can enjoy this game with companions too.

Well it's the obsidian's responsibility to decide which to nerf, we testers just report them that's all. Heh yeah ofc. How it remain like this on full release is what I can't understand. Something this gamebreaking, along with chanters brilliant inspiration shouldn't pass thru testing unchanged IMHO. It is what it is tho and it will probably be changed eventually.

That depends a bit on if there are key enemies that are charm immune. In theory it should do really well solo because: 1) It starts out really strong. Probably among the strongest of any class combination in the early game. 2) It has great crowd control with charm abilities and your ranger pet. Crowd control is really important when soloing. In particular, the "ghost" ranger is good solo because you can recast your "animal companion" should it die and you don't take penalties when it dies... and it will probably die a lot since it is covering the tanking duties. The "bond" cost isn't really a downside because you don't have anything you really need to use your bond on anyway. 3) In the mid-late game you get the most powerful damage spell in the game and you can cast it over and over and over again while ascended at no cost. This will nearly instantly kill any enemy in the game. Wich spell is that? Detonate? Is the ghost pet a fast cast?

Yeah I've read about swift flurry too. Does it work with missile spells or is it just weapons? Lol A cleave should not be able to trigger from a cleave kill and a swift flurry proc should not be able to trigger from a swift flurry proc. How hard is that to do? Anyway sorry for derailing your build thread OP. It's just that ur video made me /facepalm. Looked super cool tho with all that gib

You can buff your accuracy with spells like Devotion of the Faithful, also enemies usually will have at least one low defense that you can easily target. Devotions of the faithful is only buffing melee or range accuracy. I'm referring to spell accuracy. The spell accuracy is too low for me to even lower the enemies defenses. Bear in mind i use spells like dire blessing, blind, hobble, debuffing the enemies and 90% of the time it miss. Am i doing something wrong or the game is badly balance? I'm playing on POTD by the way and i'm playing spellcaster. Try investing heavily into Alchemy and use Deadeye drug.

It's still very useful for taking a powerful opponent out of the fight. I've just been going through Arkemyr's mansion, and thanks to Whisper of Treason, instead of fighting 3 Iron Constructs at once, I was fighting one, while the other two stood around like idiots occasionally helping me by throwing a punch at the construct I was ganging up on Instead of fighting 3 Iron Contructs at once in Arkemyrs i fought none But yeah i hear ya. =)
