  1. If you were to build a ranged attacker around the concept of "the entire game is levels 2 through 4" how would you do it? I'm thinking ghost heart/devoted. Ranger for marked prey, ghost heart so you don't have to worry about bonded grief. Fighter for disciplined barrage, devoted for extra pen. Max dex and per, 3 resolve, other stats whatever. Weapon, not sure. Options that stand out to me: Hunting bow (+acc, flexible damage), scepter (1 handed, flexible damage, destructive channel), rod (flexible damage, blast) Companion, not sure. Bear, +armor talent, have it stand behind the main tank as a 2nd line? Wolf, +damage talent, have it run at the enemy backline? Any other ideas welcome.
  2. Fighter: 2, 3, 4, 5 Paladin: 0, 1, 2, 4 Ranger: Barbarian: 0, 1, 2, 3, 8 Monk: 0, 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 Rogue: 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 Chanter: 4, 5, 7 Cipher: 0, 1, 5, 6 Wizard: 1, 3, 4, 8, 9 Druid: 3, 4, 5 (and 0 for shifters) Priest: 4, 5, 7, 8 (and 1 if at least one other character is a nature godlike) (and 3 if at least one other character is a berzerker)
  3. Screw waiting until level 16 for flagellant's path and turning wheel. No Monk/X combo gives benefits that outweigh reaching PL6 5 levels earlier.
  4. Yes. They get huge power spikes at PL 4 and 6. That's the range where you can get it as a multiclass, but the wait hurts a lot.
  5. Shifter spamming a 1 cost full attack ability is a good mix of durability and damage. Flames of devotion - Paladin Crippling stike - Rogue Penetrating stike - Fighter (strongest one, but unavailable til lvl 7) Paladin is the best tank, Rogue is the best backline diver, Fighter is a mix of both.
  6. Backstab only works at 2m range but assassinate works at any range. Assassin on ranged character is very good.
  7. Assume both characters are increasing alchemy every levelup, and using smoked rib rack + potion of ascension spam. Which one's better?
  8. Correct. Only 1 drug or drug crash penalty may be in effect at any one time. The game doesn't document drug stuff very well. Had to figure out a lot of the mechanics via experimentation. Which I suppose is thematically appropriate, but still rather annoying. Doesn't that make Nalpazca kind of.... bad? Only one drug for all the alchemy investment just for one drug. Not to mention many potions have from start as potent effects as mid alchemy drug. I thought you can be on several drugs at once :/ One is little....meh imo. Nalpazca passively generates wounds while on drugs which means you can go glass cannon stats/armor, pick your attacks on targets that can't fight back, and still have resources for your abilities.
  9. Enemies who do damage (casters, gunners, melee w/blink) never clump next to each other... you kill one of those enemies and your cleaving stance will hit 1 guy if you're lucky, 0 most of the time.
  10. If we could access the city travel map from anywhere inside Neketaka, including indoor zones, by pressing M, things would be a lot smoother.
