Incorrect. if you're playing a game at a friend's house, or even borrowing the disc(s), a copy was, unless your friend is a pirate, originally paid for (i.e. a legal copy). Thus, unlike if you download a copy, at least one copy was bought.

No, really? Whoever could have guessed that? It's not like it was obvious - give the man a gold star and a pat on the head for figuring out what game was referenced! I fail to see how the lack of bridges equates to a female dog. Anyways, moving on and in all seriousness, I wasn't trolling but describing the type of Spiderman game I would be interested in - that is to say, I'd be interested in a Spiderman game that wasn't at all like the 'classic' or 'normal' Spiderman. Honestly, even though I am not a fan of comics in general -not that I have anything against them, I just don't care about them or follow them (excluding a couple of indie titles that aren't really in the 'Hero' mythos)-, Spiderman seems to, like Superman, have limited potential when it comes to games. Batman worked well because he has a billion different gadgets and toys, not that the 'Arkham' games are my favorite but they're not the worst games out there either, while Spiderman... He's got webs and that's about it. As entrerix said InFamous is basically a Spiderman-esque game, and Prototype is basically the same sort of game. Thus Prototype is, in a sense, a 'dark-and-gritty' Spiderman game. Well, not really but it's close enough. Not that I Prototype was the best game, but it was entertaining to explore the city.

After playing Far Cry 3 for awhile I've come to the conclusion that while killing humans is great and all, I'd have really preferred the game if it was about a group of shipwrecked/stranded people trying to make it off the island while also having to live off it (i.e. the game without the human baddies and with a bit of tweaking). Maybe a mod will come out...

How about a Spider Man game where Peter was infected with a virus that gave him magic spider powers and he had to save a city from an evil paramilitary force that wanted to control the virus, now rampant in the city, for their own ends. He could 'eat' people and take on their form, fly, and shoot tentacles! And possibly even more! Helicopter hijackings! Random racing minigames! It could have that and more!

That's her?! Evidently. Or at least that's the action-figure versions of her (believe me, I'm not trilled either).

Personally I wouldn't want to eat cat, dog, or rat, but that's more because of the chance of parasites or other 'fun' complications goes up when eating predators (to be fair, I try not to eat pork, beef, etc and really only munch on the occasional fowl). But that's just me. EDIT: Also, using 'the Holy Scriptures' as a guide for what's safe to eat and not safe to eat doesn't strike me as a grand idea...

Although, thank the gods of gaming, without the f-ing annoying malaria mechanic. I would have played much more of Far Cry 2 than I did if it weren't for that mess (I liked the 'healing' animations though - I'm hoping they make a come back although I've not been low enough on health to find out yet).

I've been playing through Modern Warfare 3 to kill time and it's not nearly as bad as I expected.

I'm recalling a stealth mission, maybe two... But it's been awhile so maybe there were a few more than that (honestly, the major one I remember is the one set in the Zone of Alienation around Chernobyl - best mission of the game if you ask me).

Well, we know Calax plays games so we're aiming for a more powerful rig.

I'm still using the mx518, I've got one of the 'newer' ones as well as an original -i.e. solid black bottom vs translucent-, and they're working as well as they ever have.

I'm playing 'spend ALL the money on Black Friday Deals' and waiting for things to finish downloading.

If I didn't have a copy via GoG I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, anyone who doesn't have a copy should buy it!
