  1. Honestly I'm not sure they should be in that case, while it would be nice for 'Schrodinger's Father' to have some input ultimately it's not his body and thus not his choice (bodily autonomy/integrity and all of that). But that's a discussion that has been done plenty of times already and is a bit off topic.
  2. 'CIS' is short for 'cisgender', an insanity driven label revolving around the world of the 'transgendered'. It's new on the landscape of words, and was created by 'sociologists' and the like. The etymology is fascinating to me. Trans was accepted and people pulled a term from isomerism in chemistry to complement it I imagine the intention was to pull something directly from Latin that would be the opposite of 'trans': Cis: PREP ACC [XXXCO] on/to this/near side of, short of; before, Trans: PREP ACC [XXXCX] across, over; beyond; on the other side
  3. Volo we have made this discussion before, white people typically haven't been the victims of historical or systemic abuse in society. The Irish would like a word. Technically, at least in the context of the United States, they weren’t always considered 'white' (historically speaking). But then it’s not like race is a social construct or anything like that… Oh wait… It is… R00fles!
  4. The one thing that is really missing from the game is working multiplayer, otherwise it holds up rather well.
  5. I'll wait to try it until the keylogger is gone. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2834875/the-windows-10-technical-preview-keylogging-and-you.html http://www.pcworld.com/article/2692435/will-windows-10-tps-spooky-data-collection-carry-over-to-final-version.html
  6. The only free-to-play game I've spent any great length of time playing has been Realm of the Mad God and I didn't see any of the problems you're describing.
  7. I'm currently waiting for my possibly girlfriend possibly friends with benefits, still not sure if we’re officially an item or not, to get off work and come over (she lives about an hour away but works here so she’s likely going to be crashing/staying here some of the week if things continue going well – and I don’t have an issue with that). That said, she’s working late tonight and I’m not sure if I’ll actually see her at all or if I’ll be asleep when she come in. Oh well, worst case I’ll see her tomorrow or later in the week. You’d think tomorrow if she's staying here but I plan on sleeping in and she has to be up early so she might see herself out without waking me up.
  8. Not that I know of, but then I've not been following the story.
  9. To quote something I posted earlier but never got a response to:
  10. Unless we're talking about Children of Earth and then you have to mention it as it's amazing! And, yes, NewWho did get a bit romance-heavy for a bit, although one could argue that Moffat is worse and you also have Donna, my favorite Companion, to break things up between Rose/Martha and Amy/River (and, while with Matt Smith, Clara). But, even with that, I still preferred the first four seasons, plus Waters of Mars, to the last few seasons (this one has been promising so far though). EDIT: Back on topic, I've not really been following the ‘news’ and really just have one question – has it actually been confirmed if she slept with people? If not then what’s the fuss about (besides the death threats and other BS that have spawned from the cesspool that can be the Internet)? Her ex accused her of sleeping around, sure, but it wouldn’t be the first time someone was an asshat after a break-up and I’m, honestly, slightly skeptical of his word unless there is some other evidence.
  11. That's because Moffat isn't a good head writer... Better than Davies.... God no, I would take Davies back in a heartbeat over having Moffat stay (but then I'm also not a fan of Sherlock so it could be that I don't like his style). I think that Moffat did his best work when there was someone to tell him 'no, that's stupid - don't do that' and, besides possibly Peter Capaldi, there's not anyone to do that at the moment.

  13. Well played, just the fact she wants to see you again is always a good thing, Keep us updated Things have been going well and it looks like this might, hopefully, work out in the long-term although it has only been a few weeks and is likely too early to tell.
  14. I just got back from a date and, in the course of her asking if I made it home alright as I live an hour away and she worried because it was late and the traffic was less than pleasent, set up another one for next week - not bad, hopefully things will work out although, worst case, even if things don't turn out well, it's better to be going on dates than not going on dates.
  15. Has he ever done that?
  16. A major flaw in security for USBs has been discovered.
  17. My 8Gb Nexus 7 is a bit small so I'd go for a 16Gb or 32Gb one, although, that said, I've also been able to fit most everything I want on there (the main thing being the tablet release of Baldur's Gate, aside form that I mainly use it for reading books, browing the web, and netflix and none of those take up a ton of space). I'm using Windows 8, I haven't gone to 8.1 yet but will one of these days when I get around to it, and, honestly, once you get rid of the new interface, it's a better, slimmer version of 7 from what I've seen so far (as for getting rid of said interface, Start8 is what I used but there are also freeware versions if you don't want to pay the $5, $6 dollars for that). I wouldn't go back to 7 unless I had to.
  18. I logged onto here after an unusually long hiatus and not much else, it was a rather slow day.
  19. I've got two as well if Calax's are already taken.
