You should contact Steam Support if you are having issues with the copy you bought off Steam. Assuming you have a legitimate copy have you installed any mods or modified the downloaded files in any way? If so one way you might be able to fix things is to right-click on the game while in the Steam Library Menu and try to validate the files (any missing or damaged ones will be downloaded again).

Putting in resumes... Though if nothing pans out I might just live off savings for a bit and go back to school full-time again (since I was going to that before too long anyways).

Things like this make me really not interested in the game, not that I want to be a completely evil bastard in-game but it sounds like you're not really given a lot of choice about what person you ultimately want to be and that annoys me (I'd much rather be able to tell both sides to bugger off and/or sit back and watch the battle than be forced to help either side).

FO2 > FO:NV > FO > Fallout: Tactics > Fallout 3 I've not picked up 4 yet but am not expecting anything great (though hopefully it'll be less bland than FO3).

V20 Dark Ages is amazing and I'm hoping that they'll use that and make a Crusader Kings II style Masquerade game. I guess a spiritual sequel to Bloodlines would be good too although I'd rather have the CKII game if I could only choose one of the two.

Hopefully Obsidian is getting a cut of the sales (but even if they aren't the name recognition is good).

Don't care. if I was in charge I would enable freedom of speech on the internet. In any public forum, your freedom of speech would be protected. If companies want privacy and censored discussion, then they would have to make the forum private and only viewable by those who sacrifice their rights. R00fles! That's one of the silliest things I've read this week, thanks for the laugh. They're paying for the site and it's their property, if you want to say something that you cannot on their forums there are plenty of other places on the internet you can go to.

Bad idea. Xcom Enemy Unknown was a bug fest at release and for a few months later. And the infamous teleport bug was not fully fixed until the expansion. Meh, it was fun and I enjoyed it despite the bugs so I'm willing to support the game and tolerate a few issues, if there are any, until they're fixed.
