The 1000 line launched on laptops without the 'M' nomenclature and are supposed to get within 10% of desktop performance. I guess I'll consider upgrading once there's a thin and light option and the performance checks out.

Don't know you or the situation but sounds like a pretty big red flag tbh. Normally I would agree but considering there is both PTSD and avoidant/anxious attachment in play in addition to her being written out of her parent's will and her sister going through a less than happy divorce it's a much more complicated situation (we actually chatted briefly tonight when we happened to be playing Minecraft at the same time so it's not like we're not talking at all, there's just going to be a break from meeting up and constantly texting/talking while things settle - plus it's the start of classes and we're both going to be busier).

I suspect whoever registered that lives under a bridge and should be fought with acid or fire.

I find it amusing, and a little ironic, that you define the US by something that, while important from a historical standpoint, isn't nearly as vital to making the US the US as, say, the Constitution (and not only because that, unlike the Deceleration, is something that still has an impact on the country and the laws since it's an actual legal document and the foundation that everything else is blog upon). Personally if I had to choose one thing to enshrine it would be the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I'm fairly sure Smallpox would be the worst outbreak in American history (likely followed by either Polio or the Great Influenza, I'll n run numbers when I'm off work later but I'd be very surprised if Zika didn't have a long way to go before it places in the top three worst outbreaks). But, regardless of its actual numerical placement in the history of epidemics, I do think that Zika is a threat and shouldn't be taken lightly. Not only is there likely going to be economic impact of children effected by microcephaly, not only to families but also general welfare systems across the board, but this burden is more likely to hit already economically stressed groups do to the lack of reproductive planning resources (something that is only going to be compounded by Zika acting like an STD).

It's likely not going to happen but co-op would be awesome.

I used to post on the NWN and KotOR era Bioware Forums but Dragon Age onwards it seemed way to sensitive and volatile to be much fun.

I got one of my laptops back from Dell after sending it back to replace a defective keyboard (normally I'd open it up and do the fix myself but it was still under warranty and I figured that I should use that instead of invalidating it). Thus far it seems to be working so that's good.
