Huh, because the review I saw from LinusTechTips had it over the RX 480 in every category except Hitman (a very AMD optimized game). Although the RX 480 is still beating it handily when it comes to price-for-performance assuming that the overdraw issue is fixed.

I have the PDF for the Saga Edition KotOR splat and it's not bad although I prefer the new system, e.g. Edge of Empire, than either the Saga, d20, or d6 stuff. Also, holy ****balls, you're on a necroposting spree.

KotOR III by Obsidian, Alpha Protocol II, and a new Fallout game by Obsidian. Slightly more likely is a Vampire: The Requiem or Masquerade game by Obsidian.

As much as I would like to see Obsidian take over the Fallout IP I don't see this happening anytime soon if at all (at best we might get another Fallout: New Vegas style side game but I also suspect that's not likely to happen).

I'd rather see a Requiem RPG than a Masquerade one at this point... Though I'm also kinda burned out on OWoD at the moment, mostly because of the god-awful new MET rules that are horrible.... Though I do love V20 Dark Ages and Lore of the Clans because they're amazing. Go Onyx Path go!

My new laptop came today! I'm still not sure if it was the best choice, there's likely better price-for-performance machines out there, but I got a maxed-out Alienware 13 R1.5, basically it's got the broadwell chipset instead of skylake but has the 960m instead of the 860m even though the former is really just a slightly better clock of the latter, on a massive discount and I figured that, what the hell, it'd be taking a chunk out of my tax return but not all of it and I was due for a laptop upgrade anyways, seeing as my old one is dying, and it was a good enough deal that I can flip it if I don't like it and break even given current prices for used ones. So far my first impression is that a 3800x1800 screen on a 13" laptop might not have been my best idea ever, although ext scaling helps a lot, and that I actually like having a touchscreen despite my many previous comments saying that they were silly in traditional machines.

Dwarf Fortress with better graphics and interface. I should have Googled this first. Time to try out some mods I guess...

Have you asked on BioWare's Dragon Age forums? Not that we might not be useful here but I suspect you might have more luck over there given that BioWare made the game and the have the dedicated community for that game.

I'm game - I've got some time to kill in the comning week and between x-mas / new years I've made a topic to figure out what days/game would be good!

Society of Dangerous Obsidian Fanatical Forumites, let's make this happen! I'm not sure what days I'll be free over the holidays yet but here's a list of games that could work, feel free to chime in with your availability and titles that you'd enjoy and I'll try to edit everything into a semi-coherent list and we can see what works best! Games: Killing Floor Killing Floor 2 Left 4 Dead Left 4 Dead 2 No More Room Left in Hell Age of Empires 2 HD Terraria Red Orchestra 2 Civilization V Crusader Kings 2 Insurgency And others but that's just some off the top of my head.

I'm on hold with the Government trying to make sure I've got insurance for next year and I'm fairly sure that's more enjoyable than watching the debate...

I had a good interview and made plans for a follow-up so hopefully that will amount to something.

The more I hear about this game the more it sounds like 'Fallout 4: Settlement Management Simulator' and that sounds incredibly boring. I mean I like a simulation game or city builder from time to time but I don't see the need to shoehorn one into Fallout but maybe that's just me.

I'd be more interested if their games weren't pure narrative with some random button mashing mixed in. Don't get me wrong I like a good story but if I wanted to watch something play out that I've got no real control of I'd rather not spend my time doing random QTEs throughout it and just relax and enjoy the plot.
