  1. "Bigger than POE1 base, but less than POE1+WM1&2"??? POE1 had Eoathas Temple + Rodericks Stronghold + Early Cuad Nua levels, so that gave a very beefy first impression. Deadifre there is too much talk at start. There could be more 3-4 level dungeons on various moments. Like if Berath Catacombs have 3 more levels down to clear with bone dragon to fight at the end. Or maybe good old sewers system, with ozzes and xuirps. Basicly in Port location instead going to queen we can directly go to sewer and kill some stuff.
  2. It is a mistery. But you cant just nerf every cool spell, or we all get lost.
  3. What is relation of wildshape and gear in human form? Does it disappear and lose effect? There is some equipment having really nice effects, like helmets, belts, and other.

I found the Fampyrs much worse than the Kraken, at least until I resorted to looking at the food and had everyone ingest the captain's banquet, which imo is basically cheating. xD There two ways to think about, one is cheating, other is... you are like Witchrer Geralt preparing elixir before hard enemy. It is interesting route of what to do with resting and food. SInce allows to consume elixirs to gain immunity to mind control, poisons, or similar
  5. I had Sorcerer main and reach lv 20, veteran. It is blast to play. And the effectivness of relentless storm will shock you. Sunbeam and Blizzard are other spells to your arsenal. You could obtain Terror with WhiteWich Mask. However: As fun as it is from level 7+ when spells just start to pilling up, at very end game you have too many spells. The limit is how many spells you can throw out in first 60 sec of combat. From CC perspective pure wizard could be better. For the very hard fights there is also empowerment refill.

  7. Blackwood and dragonskin will do the job. I get ghost ship, but then feel it was slow, so i went back to my dhow. I realised the Dragon, so Odra Mortal was just "let them fight", dragon help, and some dmg to hull/sails/crew.
  8. You could do prince quest by just exploring the gap on your own, and finding what is beyond trade stall. If local thugs start asking question kill them and take their stuff, this is the hero way. You could fulfit Prince quest by just riding down the lift and seeing whats up. Unfortunetly i havent found anyone willing help with two cornetts. It would be cool if quest had alternative ending when we keep cornetts for us, and use them in temple fos some greater loot (or good).
  9. Game in general is no hard, especially classic without enemy scaling. Some of the combos OP mentioned are not even that strong Caster/Martial - delay yoru high level spells, have some weapon power which you are not using when casting. Fighter/Chanter - sudo Paladin/Cipher Barbarian/Rogue - neither of the class is particularry op, but at least stacking two martial gives good effect, you could just go pure class and have better stuff earlier. Many MC work, and have some great flavour. MC could be stronger for like first 4 levels, (first island) when you get double class passive, but then just higher level powers kick in on single class. Maybe at level 19+ single class runs out of good talents, so MC could catch up, but at this point game is over so it doesnt matter. Priest is not very strong, and have no passives, so MC could make it better, but it is not MC related, just weak class mix with something not weak. There are some subclasses like shifter or skald which are designed for MC. There are abillities like monk Swift Flurry and Heartbeat Drums or Paladin LoH of St Egida, and that is OP. Also you could give anybody frostseeker and its cool. Most of this MC OP combos is just take infinite proc with aoe dmg and call it a day.

  11. Ok, pet dying could be something on my side, like friendly fire, or too high level encounters. However, if Xoti dies to often i could do something. Give her bigger shield, better armour, some regeneration item, or protective jewelry. With pet nothing could be done. Could pick bear, but only at creation. And armour plating, but that is only 1 passive. There is aoe defense, but that is more for stalkers. Comparing Lay of Hand with Heal Pet - LoH works everyone, HealPet only on... pet - both heal 2 ticks for 20hp - HealPet upgrades is hardly useful, but LoH gives Robust, which is better hardy - HealPet cost 2 bond, LoH only 1 zeal, this is super important, since martials could burn resources like no tommorow. So at least HealPet could be buffed to be slighlty better from LoH to ofset limited target (pet only) There could also be more passives to improve defenses of pet, if we want tanking pet, there could be passives for that. Maybe fighter healing factor.
  12. There is no good build for Priest, since you have no passives to choose from, and you just pick 1-2 spell per level which dont sucks, and that is it. What you can do: Spells: 1. Harvest good 1. Interdiction, never use it 1. Restore 2. withdrow, auto 2. Pillar of Faith, spam 3. Vile thorns, auto 3. Consacred Ground, heal 4. Circle of protection, auto 4. Devotion of the faithfull, awesome 5. revive the fallen, auto 4. Berath Hodor, sucks, but no choice 5. champions boon, this level suck and this one sucks less 6. Minor incesion, heal 6. Pillars of Holy fire, spam 7. Thorny thing, auto 7. Storm of holy fire 7. Minor Avatar 8. Light of eoathas eothas 8. Hand of Wael 9. Magran Might You may pick more spells if you like, but it doesnt matter. You have no cast for them anyway. Passives: everything you like. You have more level points than ways to do anything with it. Pick all defenses, and toughtness. Fire buff. Shield and Sword, Casting rapid, healing, even far.
  13. This could be interesting if we could convert spells elements into choosen element, but with some damage lose. There is problem of making enought spells of electricity, corrosive... but taking old spell and just changing color. That could be one way to play ice witch.
  14. Wait i am supposed to pick only 1 favorite, but must to choose one least favorite? That cannot be. I picked Teheku as fav, since he is funny, provides lore about Deadfire, have some interactions, also two unique subclasses who work well together. Sidekicks are suffering unjustice, since they have no screen time to shine and woo us. Pale librarian looks promising, since she provide some lore and gore. Cant pick annyone as less favorite.
  15. The more roleplay stuff is put into sidekicks the better. They could get dialogues, backstory, quest input, banters with full companions, maybe some sidequest. But pass on relation system, and faction bias, and even romance. If Rekke gets better treatment that is great. But at some point other sidekicks could also get some lines. So there will be reason to include them in party not just merc from inn.
  16. I liked. The main quest is clear, there is some motivation off wanting soul back, answears, or just will to not be destroyed. There is variety of side quest of different quality some are interesting. Like Ackemyr Heist, Blowing Man down, Paradise of Mind, Slavers Bay, Generally quest with some bigger location and type of dungeon. Factions are all a bit evil. But at least Huana care for people in Gunlet, and VTC proceed basic researches. Wish: More quest with multistages and some complexity and choices, even if it is violence or talk.
  17. Fix broken/bugged abillities. Like infinite procs, easy inmoratality. Fix things like Fury storm form (this does not scale with levels). Fix things like totem curses not wearing off after fight. Generally fix things to the state they ware intended for. Fix spell power level scaling. Fix dialogues, thirsty companions, and barter spawning. Fix retraining and losing abilities like one given by backer npcs Fix stealth/unstealth and spells, powers. Like dots breaking stealth. Fix Managing mercs, like kick old merc from ship, or show total companion limit. Cap skill scaling items to max 10. Buff: For starter Spells casting time, duration, effect to be proper for tier, and worth casting. Especially Priest Buff Enemies HP on vet and potd. Just becouse player dump con, does not mean monsters should too. Do not: Nerf random things, and everythig which aparently works. Nerf class in general when very specific ability is op (like swift furry + Heartbeat Drumming, or st egida shieldbearer LoH variant) Nerf class in general since it can use Frostseeker. Push everything to level 20, so you cant see it play. Try to "fix" resting system, or stuff which is not broken. Harder things, i have no hope it will be done soon, but at some point they should: Balance specific weapons and specific abillities of specific class. Mostly weapons with aoe potencial and proc potencial. Subclasses: Beguiler, Corpse Eater, Mage Slayer, Wizardy Schools outside Evoker. Variety of Grimoires (or specialization of each one) Avaibility of named weapons of type 2 weapon vs 2hands styles vs fast weapons End animal cruelty (Eder smirks with aproval) and give means to keep ranger pet alive. Create or move more choices as level 1 picks for classes with like 2-3 talents there (fighter, rogue) Create some talents for Casters or more neutrals. Other than spells. But more spells of schools or levels which are empty is also cool. Give more class options or combos for companions. Like 6 (instead of 3). Improve AI syste,. especially with stuff like "is max focus" or "is immune to dmg type". Also option "perform basic attack". Do something about class resource economy. You end with 11-14 resource. Your ability cost 2-3 (most of them). So you go dry after 6 casts. Speed up loading screens if possible. Use that telemetry data, to alter companions builds a little, and give lv1 talents players tend to use. Fix skulls showing up or not, when pick scaling only up. Or call it a feeature. Rething disappearing gear when wildshape or polymorphing, sum of gear could be more powerful than final form, which is problem especially on Druid. Make shipcombat enemy deaths to canonballs translate to less enemies to fight or autowin. Add upgrade to ship which allows fast forward to deck combat with less hull dmg "Adra Ram". Total Dream: Make Sidekicks more worthy party slot from RP reasons. Let them say something, give input to quest dialogues, or chat with full companions.
  18. The tomes curse is annoying feature, the fact that even after combat this remain for long time. Also there is something with killing totems, that ai does not detect totem as enemy. I generally use flamewall to burn the thing down. Resting have some potencial as Witcher's elixirs, when you pick buffs which will help you with next fight. Like domination immunity, or poison immunity. That is way to go.
  19. I checked on Furry PL 7, and the thing is... fury form attack sucks. It shows only bonus from might with base 13, attack 0.7 wait 4s. There is this one spell like lighting which deals around 70 dmg. This is quite horrible. At least armour is 12 with 0 recovery penalty. And you get elemental spell bonus. Maybe with other spirit forms it is better, but this one is so bad it starts to be funny .
  20. Maia Ranger/Rogue works just fine. Sneak Attacks for you and pet. Using devastating Blows for kill steals. Ydwin with dual pistols/blunderburst rogue/cipher could be effective. But she is not full companion so less interesting to put in party. You can play Xoti ranged with Swift Strikes, but she has named weapons, so that is argument to use her that way. But i used her with Abalaster as off weapon. It is hardly the build. Pallaegina/Eder has some defensive traits so are good for frontline. Aloth is wizard, and casting high level spells is generally good. Serafen is Barbarian, so at range you loose carnage, but other than that alot of his abillities work with range, so it is an option.
  21. If single class is strong then MC is also strong, unless you go in opposite direction (spells vs autoattacks). Could be single, could be /barbarian /fighter /rogue /paladin /cipher. You always get something. But if you prefer pure, just go with it, have fun. There is not as intendend issue with procing attacks from Monk. If abillity is broken discussion about power or balance is pointless.
  22. Fair feedback about loading times. Or Maia hunger. Ship combat: "full speed ahead and deck combat" There could be an item, ship improvment like "giant adra ram" which would allow to start deck combat with less hull dmg. Or Barrels with Pig Products to drop behind when we run away. But Open World sidequesting: at least there are no watchertowers. But i like it. It is part of genre of crpg that main quest is, but we are here for doing all fetch quests and rat killing, and intercourse with allien races. It is desired to finish game, and reach max level without doing every quest. Just this which suit your watcher. Ekera, i just adapt to vallian words, and assume the meaning.
  23. Pal Gina could be ok romance, if she remains in role, and keep her angry bird nature, and duty above perv things. She does not cute. However now as we have naked orlans, we can assume that all kinks are covered, and it is better to move on to other aspects. Pale Elf Tailor girl was very clear that she does not want to eat us, need to respect that. But it would be great if she had something to say, and more lines, comments, banters, some dialogues about quest, and connection with Pal Gina since "gods sucks".
  24. To gear is not so top when you first acquire it. And with heavy spending (which is not cheap by any means) it could be ascendent. You could use Berath Blessing we can start with some cash, since we are forking Lady/Lord of Cuad Nua and we do not travel bare bottom. Getting top gear/level just before end level, which you could mostly talk over is not fun. You could play with two way level scaling, which makes all weapon "easy to get". Not sure what is intended but not try to "fix it".
  25. Start low and then add more if you are taking too much dmg. There are several armour light, but with lowered penalty. Need seek wiki for a list. So this goes for casters, ranged and general second line. On Veteran my front line was using medium armours dual wielding. And it worked. There could be some class specific impact like: Monks prefer lower armour to gain wounds Fighters can handle heavier armour Barbarians Berzerkers may want heavier armour.
