As for Repeaing Knives ideally: - Make them ally or self - Assume they are legendary daggers with raw damage, with accuracy, damage bonus as legendary - if they are daggers they should have accuracy bonus i suppose - give them electric lash - give them wide arc low distance cleave That would be something Create new power: Soul Connection - bless allyy with weapon damage bonus as 10% in raw damage, and this value is given to caster as focus. The exact cunmber depends on general balance, could be 7.25 % Generally if build is Berserker Monk with Duskfall Modwyr there is a reason in it.
  2. Not very good at moding but: make copy of director: data/exported/design/gamedata/ install patch copy files items, attacks, abillities (or only some of them) could also make a copy of patched gamedata, in case there is conflict.
  3. "Bounty heads can no longer be pickpocketed from their owners." So how are we supposed to acquire them then? "Mirke is no longer so drunk as to be naked with a human body." That is very out of character for her.
  4. What is the deal with new beckoner, like WHY? Isnt this subclass like very good with summons, and it cost more. Cant i like play normal chanter then? What could be done: +1 cost applies only to offensive invocations, making summons cheap, buffs normal, but offensive worse. Spirit Weapon nerfed. (this wasnt that great) SpiritShift wildstrike nerfed.(this wasnt that great) Micronerfs with Flames of Devotion, and Penetrating Strike. (this 5% does not change much) Not sure how this makes game better.
  5. Steam reviews are 80% possitive, maybe that is enought. Metacrtic is 7.8. Not sure how much better it could be. At some point there is a cost of delaying game endlessly. 2y of dev cycle is rather low. There is Fig investment thingy, you cant promise and not deliver something. And something was ready.
  6. I generally fix the adra, since destroyng nice piece of thechnogy is like kicking the puppy. And dont do Maias quest, but will try a little sabotage next time. You dont play Watcher Maia, Watcher plays you.
  7. Spiritshift is not strong now (pre 1.1), the wildstrike is not that strong compared to legendary weapon/ You also lose all your fancy gear from other slots. It is already endangered spiece. With nerfs... it will be "WHY? tier". Why to even bother.
  8. Third part of Trilogy, somewhere in Aedyr Empire. With timeline moved forward to Soul-Punk. The last Watcher mission is to envoy some diplomacy, to stop nations from killing each other, and instead focus resources on fixing what has been broken. Once kiths achieve full adra understanding the new era begins, and Watcher dies.Or we enslave the Kiths and just ascend into godstatus since you cant really be good without opportunity to be ahole. And then move on. Freezing IP for some time. Possibly doing some space opera crpg or spiritual succesor of Vampire Bloodlines.
  9. 1) Clothing costume creator of some kind, mentioned this before, basically so you can make your gear look like any clothing. Eder looks amazing in that wide brimmed cowboy hat, for example.<- this is good 2) Sidekicks having more to say and putting some comments while parting, being more than just hiring with bonus portrait. 3) Ranged Ranger's Companion, a little Wurm 4) Handcanon weapon, like oversized arquebusar ogres use. My champion is stronk. To be honest it is about ranged weapon which is not pierced, could be sling or captain ruatai shield. 5) Dawn Godlike, Iron Godlike. It is not class specific. 6) Neketaka sewers and 4 levels of catacombs with cultist, xuirps, spiders, sceletors, ghouls, and spectres. Mad animancer mini boss, and bone dragon at the bottom. Old school dungeon crawl. I would dig that.
  10. No free spells is manageble. Fighters dont get free abillities, and CIphers are this hybrid class. The bigger problem is that half of powers are garbage. It is ok to need to make build decision " i really focus on CC/debuff powers with little damage as Beguiler", it is not ok, if you cant do this, since Eyestrike, RingLeader, Whispers, and Borrow Instinct is a bit too little to call it a build decission.
  11. You can switch 2h sword modal if it is on. Maybe look for better sword or weapon, and upgrade it to fuperb (and legendary) Take party pet with +1 perecption. Also give Pallegina bracells of Accuracy and maybe something with perception (neckle). Try to apply Blind, Shaken, Frightened by spells.
  12. There is this thing with micronerfs. Like nerfing Flames of Devotion Barbaric Smash or Penetratic Strike by 5%(from 25% to 20% damage bonus). It looks petty. If the ability was a problem, then 5% will not change a thing. If it wasnt a problem, why change it? Pleanty of Rogue and Twin Arrows get 25% bonus in the same time (good for them , cheers). It is even weirder with BleakWaker and 2.5% nerf. Maybe the intencion was that PoE is turning MOBA and need perfect equal win ratio, or something. But result is that OE spend extra effort to micro nerf something which wanst a problem, but have not put extra effort to buff some forgotten abillities. If Rogue is totally different story, maybe their abillities should not be so expensive, or they could get Guil on kill at some point. If ranger is totally different story, maybe their pet should be more resilent or scaling with levels. Charge is good nerf, since the change is significant, and intencion clear. Still ok gapcloser, but less good for spamming. There is a thing with difficulty, gear, levels, and abillities. As you level up, your build comes together, and you stack crit bonuses. As you level up, your gear could be much better, like legendary gear, or some regeneration with save bonuses. It adds up. Even before 1.1 some fight early on could be hard, like Old City Grub, when you dont have so much gear, and build is work in progress. Adding just 2 levels for everything would result that first island will be much harder, but as levels come everything will get easier. Which is opposite of what player want, challenge when you are naked fighter without abillities, and you cant do much about it is not etertaining, since no interaction. Some solution would be if each 4 levels all enemies will get some extra buff. At low levels the extra buff would be minimal or none, but on PotD it will be substancial. So 1-4 levels would be a bit easier and not call for cheese, but after 8 the fun will begun.
  13. Question: IF taget is enemy, then prioritize by number of enemies does refer to my enemies, or enemies of the target? I use something like: Number of allies>0 && number of enemies not>0/ fireball/ enemy/ greatest number of enemies.
  14. I generally like it, the game. Good: funny characters, big fat monsters, exploration, some no violence quest, some good locations like Fort Deadfire, or Undead Island, Multiclassing, interaction with godlike, companion input and barters. Main Stroy wasnt that great, and it is hard to see if our action does matter when it comes to main quest, especially if we choose lone path at the end, we could one faction,but all of them are not worthy. Berath dont want romance us, but that is no reason to destroy her, Eothas is not exacly a villian. On the bright side i do not care much about main quest, and just happy clearing sidequest is fine. Medium size side quest (like slavers islands or Archmage Heist) are generally more fun. WE CANT KILL EOATHS! Why should we do that, he is a cool guy in the end, but that is the rule of cRPG that player should matter, and if he/she wants to kill the god, the game delivers. It was done before. The gods will help, We could use Adra Cannons, or chainshots to tie his ankles ln Hoth style. Then use Adra technology to invide his mind, and kill his personality in hand to hand combat and rock'n'roll. But we couldnt. That path would require some cooperation of all factions, like VTC giving teleporting technology, RDC giving their Junks, Huana water magic and Principii smuggling enought adra to shot down one stone giant. There are some bugs in game, and bugs are the worst. I miss that some companions (Ydwin) does not receive more content.
  15. Boar healing is fixed in time, does not scale with number of attacks. But bear armour is better the more hits you get. Maian birdie is good, but not avaible for player.
  16. I think that Body Atument with -2/+2 is no longer worthy 40 focus, maybe at 10focus it would be acceptable. But at 40y it is pay a lot get a little (but it is not Iphone). Soul Anihilaton nerf puts Soulblade in weird spot, where this sub no longer have good reason to play. Shred discounts are minimal, SoulAnihilation you may cast Destruction instead. Maybe if it was addition to primary attack as raw independent of weapon, or if succesful kill would grant Fit Inspiration that would open some fun, with kill stealing. Or "you can spend max 100 focus that way". That would be something. But now, why should i bother to play SoulBlade? Wildstrike smashed is sad. It wasnt popular combo anyway. You loose all your legendary gear, and legendary doomsticks of awesome, for what? Also, nerf to Priest's Spiritual Weapons, somebody even used that? Charge change could be a benefit for some sword and shield, at least neutral. Rogue buff is a good thing. Twin arrows buff, sure why not, just without pet companion resilence and end game killing power why not rogue?
  17. Scout was viable before, and with 1.1 Rogue gets +25% dmg to various abillities. So it is even better. Bear pet. Sharpshooter . You may however drop Ranger for Monk Helwaker, Devoted Fighter.

As for buffs/nerf in 1.1 Body Attumed - with +2/-2 for 15 sec and for 40focus, that is not worthy. if it was 20 sec and tier 1 for 10 focus it would be interesting tier 1 self buff, pay little, gain little. And low tier powers fall from glory as game progress, and having small buffs instead would be a mean to dump levelpoints. With 40 focus you are so close to desintegration. (time to nerf desintegration!) Soul Blade - so why not desintergate? MindWave at low levels. To use soulanihilation you need to pass on your other abillities, it is one or another. Shred discount is not big deal. There could be niche combo of backstabs and soul anihilation. But that is very specific. Maybe if that new soulblade was raw addition to your primary attack (independent to weapon) that would be something. Or if post kill spark was more substancial (something like fit inspirtation). That would open some gameplay. But otherwise you dont really get much.
  19. There is always an option to use Barbarian/Monk hire for starting levels. And switch to Wizard after level 7, game fast forwards to that. And there is several quest with minimal combat and some diplomacy to reach even level 8th. As for Wizard at level 10: Rymgrins terror, fireball, Conclusive Missiles, Necro Lance Chill Fog. Not bad, quite impactful. And you can unleash it from start of combat, not waiting for ascession. Leaving scraps for melee to finish off. And each power lever/tier only makes it better, with 2 more cast of top tier in addition to everything we had.
  20. It would be great if Xoit had some other MC option. Like Priest/Chanter, Priest/KindWayferer, or Priest/Lifegiver. Priest/Monk with each level you have less time to do monk stuff.
  21. On one of islands we can recruit the Xuirp. And there is copperhead undead. Commander Shepard would be proud.
  22. Dhow + upgrades could make world travel faster. There is several vendors with good items, but it is individual, what we need. Upgrading legendary equipment is always good thing to do. There are some food and druigs which may be worth using more often, just to make combat quicker.
  23. It dont have to be "best at", since it is less fun to be forced to have Priest for healing, and fighter for tanking, and rogue dps. It is more fun to have multiple classes being able to competent in the roles. Just how good Cipher is? Why should i include cipher in party, but not Wizard, or Wizard/Chanter. Wizard/Chanter even with lower PL, hit as hard, could unleash power from the start of combat without stop for 14+7 spells. And then keep using invocations from Chanter, with own version of charm or paralyze or summon ogres, they even have -2AR spell, just in aoe and infinite duration version. Wizards also have access to 2/level spells for free. And could even reach more spells with a bit of grimoir switching. Ditching chanter and single class wizard with witting winds and meteor shower is no weaker. There is a lot of room before ciphers get overpowered.
