  1. No doubt Long Pain is more viable. I am just fishing for ideas/advice on a non Long Pain Monk. You already gave us that awesome build. This build doesn't have to be POTD proof. If I can stay speedy as possible I would like to run and shoot. I will name him Chris and track his story as the 'Aedyrian Sniper'.
  2. Wrong game, pal. But I suppose a Monk could let one of the older Xbox360 models overheat and use the fire damage wounds to Force of Anguish it into an enemy mob before it exploded. Ah Ah Aj Do u think it will work?!
  3. I was thinking a solo Skirmisher Monk. They have excellent starting Accuracy and Deflection. Shoot on the Run, Apprentice Sneak Attack, Marksman, Ranged DR bypass, Quick Switch. Possibly with Borresaine for stun effects or Lenas Er. With any disengaging boosting options. Missile/Melee/Missle. Guessing an Aumaua to add an extra weapon set.
  4. Starting my next solo run as a Borreal Dwarf Chanter Scientist from the Living Lands. Not caring about Stealth but will build up Lore, Mech, Athletics and Survival. Plan on RPing him as a 'good guy' so no Gift to the Machine or Blood Pool. Probably siding with the Knights for their bonus. Stats - don't like dumping stats but I'm open to suggestions Might 15 Con 14 Dex 9 Per 12 Int 18 Res 10 My goal is to be tanky enough to survive. My plan is 2 Spear and Shield setups. 1st containing Vile Loner's and 2nd Cladhilath. CCing with VL then finishing with Clad. Looking for equipment advice from this point. Currently in chapter 1 about to depose Raedric and his henchmen. Which version of Clad is best for finishing? What other Equipment would you recommend?
  5. It's in great shape.....except for the fighter class. That bug is horrible. It was known for months, ignored in patch release and kills several major encounters. Forgivable? At this stage it probably is.
  6. Really makes fighter unplayable. What gives???? This should be an easy fix.
  7. Oh well... So much got exercising. Now I'll be up all night
  8. Neither. Two Weapon Fighting, Savage Attack, Vulnerable Attack and lots of buffs and rebuffs from the team. With Shod in Faith, Vet Recovery, Durance and Kana he was constantly healing and dealing. Made him immune as possible to Lightning as Aloth, Sagani and Hirivais unleashed Lightning death.
  9. I completed PotD with a Nature Godlike Barb. Dual wielding Woed/Hearth's Harvest. That is nowhere near optimal but he still rocked it. He looked awesome in the Adra Armor.
  10. Are there any weapons that do frost/ice/cold damage as the base damage like Bittercut? Thinking of converting this into an Elemental Monk.....
  11. In a movie theatre the 'Silence is Golden' quasi warnings are wanted. In the forums they are not. Any news on release Sir SKing?
  12. Don't waste materials on armour and weapons that you will replace. There are SO many enchanted items throughout the game that you can save them for your final builds. I usually don't do much enchanting until level 8 at the earliest. You can get Tidefall for example rather early and it is a Superb item.
  13. Crickey you guys! You have probably turned over every possible rock there is in the Dyrwood to make sure you haven't missed any single possibility of maxed performance per build. Where do you get the time?
  14. Not true. Add a shield and a breastplate with any of the Sabers. He still kicks butt. The Devil of Caroc is a perfect example.
  15. I played NWN with all expansions and I also played NWN2 (only vanilla). But I didn't do a lot of builds then. I just tried some classes and ideas and then played the game once. I didn't feel like playing them more than once. Can't say why. I liked the NMW expansions a lot. Diablo II and Torchligh II however saw a lot of builds from me. I played Diablo III for a few hours and found it's character system to be utter crap. What I also did when I was still studying was playing Pen & Paper RPGs (mainly the german flagship "The Dark Eye") and doing an awful lot of powergamer's builds - much to the dismay of my fellow players. PnP Rolemaster/MERP builds were/are fun times. So many combos. Wouldn't mind seeing a PoE RPG rule set...
  16. Does Outlanders Frenzy make sense on this build or does the durganized plate and durganized Bittercuts reduce the speed to make it unnecessary?
  17. Bleak Fang is a Stiletto. Was thinking that would be part of my MC Rogue weapon sets. Pallegina will help Maneha with ACC with Coordinated Attacks So I wasn't worried about the different weapon grouping. Kana in White Crest Armor pulling Frost Drake Ambassador duty with White Spire and summons support via items and Chanter abilities and Aloth dropping Chill Fogs all around him. Durance in support.
  18. No I was just going to add a Corrode Lash to help maximize damage between the two weapons. So I figured Spirit of Decay couldn't hurt. Plus Ravenwing looks really cool.
  19. Is Ravenwing with Corrode Lash a good substitute for a 2nd Bittercut? Would obviously take the +25% Corrode ability as well.
  20. With Rogue and Barby upgrades I have revamped my current MC dual wield Rogue and Maneha fighting combo. I am thinking of using the mold on Shod in Faith boots in order to have a double tandem of healing side by side. Rogue is a Stilletto critter while Maneha will dual either Bittercut/Ravenwing with Corrode Lash or Cladhaliath stunner/Diel..... Club. Both with tons of speed. Does a Shod boots duo fighting team seem viable. Am I overlooking something?
