  1. Hmmmm... 2 Barb, 1 Fighter, 2 Ranger or 2 Rogue and 1 Priest
  2. Does a high Int prolong the prone durations for Fighter talents/abilities?
  3. Lion is more of a RP choice. They look cool. So are most of my hirelings.
  4. Looking to mix it up a bit so my next party will consist of all hirelings using their starting gear which I will upgrade as I go. I will only use items in the belt, boots, etc.. slots that upgrade stats only, no special abilities allowed. This also means no plate armor or better. Also means making my choice for builds centered on character abilities not equipment perks. Bye bye Tidefall...
  5. In this case it is loving you! That was a great setup for the forum smart-butts.
  6. Yea.Wot's a droggie? Alpine Dragon. It's actually part Husky, part Dragon. Plays a mean game of fetch. Also nice to cuddle with on cold nights in the March.
  7. Constant Knockdown, Prone and Paralyze wins any Ogre fight. Stop them from casting and you can slowly kill them off with AoE damage and Frontliners while negating their spellcasting abilities. Combo of Priest and Cipher always makes them easier to beat.
  8. I was responding to an older female coworker and was attempting to state " Sorry for the inconvenience this caused..." but spellcheck changed it to incontinence.
  9. Cool, thanks for confirming. I was thinking the beta was completely bugging my game. Glad to know I'm noy paranoid.
  10. Yes. I also see it happening when using the Radiance Type abilities.
  11. ....either way my point still stands. IA is a solid melee choice if your chosen build calls for lead in CC from a weapon source. All melee parties would most certainly benefit from this type of build.
  12. Your post seemed to have nothing to do with race choice and solo vs party. I took your race comment to be applied to your stat comment only.
  13. Since uploading the beta Priest in all my parties seem to only be able to use Spells or abilities once per rest then most of the time they start to use a spell or ability but don't or can't finish it. Then the icon for that spell or ability will stay greyed out suring the rest of the combat and any other future combat until I rest. It seems the spell or ability gets "stuck"???
  14. The icon for the wand is a sign that says "Bug Me"?????
  15. 6 Island Aumaua can form the Beach Boys. Throw in some sumons and they can have the Beattles open for them.
  16. Island Aumaua is an excellent melee choice. It allows for a third weapon slot. For a solo that means switching to a weapon with a cc or dps ability to start combat. I have used this setup for a Barb solo to lob a fireball before charging.
  17. I feel sorry for the enemy... getting their butts kicked by a Boy Band!
  18. I acquired the Red Reed Wand??? from Gramass the Wayfarer, hate that guy! and instead of a picture there is a box that says "Bug Me". What gives?
  19. I mostly agree.... except that leaves some classes in the never use category. You are using the "A good Offense is the best Defense" theory. Though you may be correct, some players hate not having a strong defense as their starting point and prefer to build to the big hit. So the classes that have late fight cosmic powers can shine when paired with Several tanks for example. To me the devs should make every class viable in both scenarios. Ciphers should have the capability to either last throughout a battle or throw a big punch early. Just like a Wizard or Druid.
  20. You don't necessarily need high RES to tank. 14 is plenty. Items/Inns/Food/Salty Mast Whores help build it up in game. Add those points right back into Might. Tanks can also DPS a bit as well. Otherwise the enemy will just bypass you for your squishies in the back row. Give him Heavier Armour, a Retaliation Shield and either his fist or any other One hander. I like the Vile Loner's Lance personally. Easily obtained in the early game. Or Resolution, also easily obtained early on. You don't need to pick all defensive talents. There is a sweet spot in the balance between über tank and tanky DPSer. I like taking W & S then add offensive abilities and talents that complement your weapon choice. If you make him a Tanky DPSer then just toughen the other guys up a bit so Zah can draw aggro.
  21. Melee Chanter Tank is a good choice for starters. Heavy Armour, 1hander & Shield plus a firearm or two is a very durable PC who can support the party with buffs, debuffs, CC, summons, AoE damage, ranged damage and melee durability. Best all rounder in my opinion. Currently my PC is a variant of Boeroer's Chanter build the Drake's Ambassador that can be found in this section of the forums, though could be spoilerish. Love me my Chanter!
  22. And evil jellies are imune to all prone effects, not only ground ones, so they are still safe from it.Jellies go down easier with PB & a tall glass of milk.
