  1. I just don't know how to deal with 300 non-crit semi-ranged butt attacks otherwise. The flatuent wyrm strikes again!

  3. Problem is there are many fighters in thr Company. Elmo would be.... bland.... compared to the other characters. I agree that only the northerners feel like true company but maybe the Nar as well? Or Mother Gota?!
  4. Poleaxes... do they not get an inherent crit bonus? Is it possible to hit zero recovery with them in this build?
  5. I am by no means an expert on game mechanics... but..... wouldn't any melee weapon with a crit modifier be the ideal weapon of choice once you reach 0 recovery? Of all the 'base' abilitiesof the various melee weapon types it seems to me only crit mod or DR bypass would be the standouts. Of course tuis is taking into consideration that by the time you reach 0 recovery it is later in game...
  6. Tough choices on who to use.... Croaker - Meadow Folk Darcozzi Pally wielding Sword 1handed and carrying a Warbow The Lady - Either Meadow Folk or Death Godlike Cipher with a plethora of Corrode/Necro spells. Too bad there is no Garrotte or Srangling Scarf weapon equivilant. Goblin - A folk type or possibly an Hearth Orlan Wizard specializing in CC. Dagger and Rodd One-Eye - Another folk type Wizard who CCs... Dagger and Wands Uncle Doj - Another folk type but uncle is a combo Monk/Sword Master/Wizard. I would go with Monk wielding Estoc or 2h sword. Murgen - Another Folk type. Being the standard bearer who leads the charge I would go Fighter. Possibly Spear and Shield. Also was possibly thinking of Raven, Darling, Silent, Blade, Captain, Leiutenant, Otto and Hagop...and of course there is a Taken party which of course must include the Limper and Soulcatcher.. Any other Black Company fans out there?
  7. I found the best way to keep a Rogue alive that you want as a melee fighter is to have more melee characters in support. Melee Rogues take some microing. Let him shoot once then charge. The shooty damage is just extra anyway. The more characters you have enganging in melee in the first wave will usually allow the Rogue to pick and choose his victims for flank attacks. That is where he shines. Having Rangers with Rogues in the same party allows for more melee fighters with the AC added. example party - everyone can melee Pally Monk Rogue Ranger Cipher Druid
  8. Looks like once you solve his dilema he stays for a week. Then he leaves. After that the NEXT time he shows he sells his wares.... did they do this to piss the players off?
  9. Ok. I have never had him come to my keep until now... so when i ponied up 5k i figured he would setup shop....
  10. I FINALLY have Azzuro.... I agreed to help him. Game shows he is staying for 7 days.... but after agreeing to help he disappears???? Nowhere to be found! Where does he go? HELP?!
  11. He came to my keep. I agreed to help him, paid the 5k. It says he is visiting for 7 days. He is Nowhere to be found???? Aaaarrrgghhh!
  12. I finally tackled the battle...I am NOT experiencing that bug.... I am running a fully updated Steam game....if it helps.
  13. I think it should be reported as a bug weapon + armor should stack but weapon + weapon are of the same type they shouldn't.Also the ring of combusting wounds(old item I know) seems buged as well because one can cast the spell from there and it's always autohit. Hush now! THEY will hear....
  14. I have never seen this dude show up in all of my gazillion playghroughs.... can you console his arrival?
  15. Nature - should get Woodskin spell triggered on them when below 50 %... with limited duration. Death - agree with Kaylon. Some type of small Bonus per kill would be nice... Fire - should have small fire based damage bonus per AT...
  16. Ranger has more flexibility than others let on. They can melee or missile. They get a free meat shield that with patches now can DPS pretty well. You can build missile Rangers in many different ways including as implements wielders. They are very flexible characters. I went with a Barb, 3 Rangers and 2 Druid party. It was unstoppable on PoTD.
  17. Monk with heavy armour and dual Mace and Flail. Have you tried Chanter? They are great in Heavy Armour as their phrases go by themselves. Go with Island Aumanua wielding Pistol, Pistol, Sabre and Shield. He is a frontliner who starts with 2 shots to the face then Slices and Tanks. A great choice for the Main Char as they have good starting Reflection.
  18. Stag Druid, Wildstrike Shock, 2 Weapon Fighting, Savage Attack, Inv Attack, Appren Sneak Att. Side with Doemenals.
  19. If you kill Penhelm in this way and Osric lets you keep the armor out of disgust, does the Dozen's merchant still become available?
  20. Camping supplies ARE limited. There isn't an infinite supply of them. What game are you playing? Camping supplies respawn at vendors. Eventually they respawn. Not automatically. If you want to play the game with limited resting just don't buy unlimited supplies. Self inflicted limitations make this game rock.
  21. If you use say 3-4 Fighters all with Guardian Stance would the bonuses stack. I am thinking Shield Wall here. Does it stack with Pally aura or the cross class Pally ability?
