  1. Are players who still haven't reached that stage safe from this bug in the 1.04 version?
  2. It's a known issue. The best way to avoid it is to automatically resolve combat events.
  3. Check his Might score. Are you running an unpatched GOG version?
  4. I'm in the same boat. I got to Gilded Vale on my first (and only) playthrough, lost a bunch of items as I was testing how character dismissal worked, saw a ton of issues being reported on the forums and decided to avoid playing the game altogether. Thankfully, this gave me the time to finally complete Dragonfall (now, that's a kick-ass game).

  6. the burn/flame effect is missing when attacking with a spiritshiftted druid who's using Wildstrike Burn disabling the "Detailed Quest Updates" option shows them anyway (the option simply removes the "+" symbol and displays the extra information) "Show Relative Defenses" option makes no difference - the tooltip always displays full defense values the fix to journal dates doesn't get applied retroactively; most of my quests are still in the 20K+ year range

  8. How much does the max HP pool increase through this bug over the course of the game? 10%? 20%? 50%? More? I was looking to start playing when the 1.04 version lands, and I wouldn't mind the bug (that much if the health increase wasn't enormous.

  10. Identical bonus stats don't stack, regardless of their sources. I believe the same goes for debuffs.

  15. Wasn't this already fixed? Fixed issue with Wizard's summoned magical items getting stuck after save and load. Wizards will be restored to a proper state after loading a game. A summoned weapon will not unequip the grimoire. Previously Wizard summoned items could persist after the spell's duration. This has been fixed and it will also retroactively fix the problem in saved games that have characters with this issue.
  16. Does the bug only affect the visual indicator or does it actually ignore the boosted AoE in combat?
  17. Click on the damage line in the combat log, and it should display normal + shock damage.
  18. It's only a display issue. Test it thoroughly.
  19. I think I read somewhere about this issue. Back up the save files, and uninstall the game. Then delete everything in appdata, programdata or any folder that contains files related to PoE. Reinstall the game, and put the save files back.
  20. Press tilde to open the console, type msaa 2, msaa 4 or msaa 8, and press Enter. The difference between the settings is negligible, especially if you're playing at 1080p.
  21. It has been reported before and, as far as I recall, it's only a visual bug, i.e., the AoE is still buffed, despite the visual indicator.
  22. I tried saving & loading, travelling and resting while the food buff was active, and I couldn't reproduce this issue. Letting it expire normally also didn't cause any problems.
