Did anyone else notice that there's something off with regard to the recording quality of Grieving Mother's voice acting? It sounds as if it was recorded using a very cheap microphone. When she pronounces fricatives, it's almost as if my speakers are tearing and crackling. This problem affects only her voice acting and nothing else in the game.

I reverted back to 1.05 and noticed that ambient sounds fade out only when pausing the game, not when accessing the inventory. 1.06 cancels ambient sounds in both cases, which causes the problem when accessing the crafting screen.

It's impossible to buy or sell items when camping supplies are maxed. No matter what item you try to buy or sell, this message appears. How are these things managing to slip by?

The game pauses and suspends ambient sounds when a player opens the inventory, which works as it should; however, once the player opens the crafting screen, the game unpauses for a brief moment (playing the background noises for a fraction of a second) and then pauses again. This leads to a jarring aural transition between the Inventory and Crafting UI elements.

The spell bar of one character persists even when selecting a different character. Check the screenshot... This behavior persists until the player selects another spell-casting character or multiple characters at once. A similar problem was present in the first release of 1.05 beta, which you managed to fix easily.

After hovering over a weapon to open the Weapon Sets interface for one character, it doesn't disappear after selecting a different character, which prevents the player from selecting weapon sets for that character. Check the screenshot (the Weapon Sets interface displays Durance's Staff and Forgiveness even though Eder is selected. Steps to reproduce: select one character hover over the weapon to open the Weapon Sets interface select another character

[1.06] Zealous Focus - aura AoE gradually increasing

I know that the 1.06 patch increased the base range, but the AoE keeps getting bigger every time you load a game where Zealous Focus is already active. Check the way the aura extends in the following screenshots... Steps to reproduce: activate zealous focus perform a quicksave perform a quickload -

Items such as scrolls or figurines also trigger the "potion chugging" sound effect when clicking on them in the quick-cast menu during battle. -

Read the post above yours. The guy you imprisoned isn't Sly Cyrdell. Go southwest from the location where you imprisoned the Death godlike. -
Like I mentioned earlier, there are multiple ways to figure out where the location is (including stumbling upon it without getting the information), and I had no problems completing the quest. One of the options (i.e. paying 50c for the map to Wenan) is blocked under certain circumstances. That's the bug.

The option is enabled, and it works in all cases except the one I mentioned earlier. The workaround is to shift-queue an attack command after casting a spell, which gets tedious after a while. -

I know that Stronghold turns advance only as you progress through the quests, but after reaching turn 33, turn progress stopped despite advancing through (and completing) multiple quests afterwards. I'm mostly focusing on side quests right now. Are there any turn "thresholds" based on the progress in the main quest? Perhaps that's the problem.

I know that you can stumble upon the Searing Falls location and continue the quest regardless of whether you discussed it with Wenan or not, but the journal instructs you that "someone at the expedition hall might know." The thing is, there's no option to discuss the location with Wenan (and pay him 50c for the map) if you' helped Osric but haven't done the expedition yet. I know how to complete the quest, but this bug might lead to confusion for new players. That's why I reported it.

Did you use Kalakoth's Minor Blights? That spell tends to cause the problem.

Morphological Filtering in the CCC was causing similar problems for me in other games. Try disabling it. -

OK. This was an extreme coincidence. I continued playing after posting this thread, rested in the wilderness to refresh my spells, and the dream finally triggered. What are the odds? Sorry for the false alarm.
