[1.05] Display bug - bow placement on the back
Insolentius replied to Insolentius's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Strangely enough, going through the same steps actually fixes the position of a crossbow (so it rests on the back instead of the hip). Weird. EDIT - scratch that; crossbow placement on the back gets fixed, but it floats in front of the character during combat. The only way to resolve the problem is to perform a quicksave-quickload. EDIT #2 - the problem started happening randomly even without using spiritshifting -

[1.05] [bug] The Man Who Waits

Did this occur during a fresh 1.05 playthrough or did you convert an earlier save in which this problem was already present? -

It seems that there's no end to stat-stacking problems. Oh well, gonna have to wait for 1.06. -
1.05 Patch Beta Live on Steam
Insolentius replied to BAdler's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
I didn't notice anything about the issue regarding stat/ability/talent stacking for companions that are resting at the stronghold; e.g. having extra lvl 1 spells - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/78732-104-hiravias-has-ten-1st-level-spells/?hl=spells - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/78186-bug-number-of-spells-per-rest-increasing-for-no-reason/... or dealing extra damage - http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/34awew/hiravias_druid_fire_damage_broken/) - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/77643-firebug-does-more-damage-than-it-should/ Is this still an issue? Do we still have to strip our companions naked before dismissing them? -

Praise Odin! -
Beta should be up any day now since they're aiming for a May release of the patch. I figured they were planning a May release for the 1.05 beta.

It's fixed for me. I had to create a new save post-update and then reload it. -
Dismissing a companion where they were recruited destroys inventory
Insolentius replied to Tulki's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
So, this bug doesn't affect every location? I assumed it affected everything, which is why I always removed all items from characters before dismissing them. -
Are players who still haven't reached that stage safe from this bug in the 1.04 version?

I'm in the same boat. I got to Gilded Vale on my first (and only) playthrough, lost a bunch of items as I was testing how character dismissal worked, saw a ton of issues being reported on the forums and decided to avoid playing the game altogether. Thankfully, this gave me the time to finally complete Dragonfall (now, that's a kick-ass game).

A couple of bugs I noticed (0534 version)
Insolentius posted a question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
the burn/flame effect is missing when attacking with a spiritshiftted druid who's using Wildstrike Burn disabling the "Detailed Quest Updates" option shows them anyway (the option simply removes the "+" symbol and displays the extra information) "Show Relative Defenses" option makes no difference - the tooltip always displays full defense values the fix to journal dates doesn't get applied retroactively; most of my quests are still in the 20K+ year range -

buffed health still bugged...
Insolentius replied to McPartyson's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
How much does the max HP pool increase through this bug over the course of the game? 10%? 20%? 50%? More? I was looking to start playing when the 1.04 version lands, and I wouldn't mind the bug (that much if the health increase wasn't enormous. -
