  1. It turns out that Confuse does flip the allegiance of the enemies. I tested it, and they (confused enemies) are not affected by foe-only AoE abilities and spells.
  2. I can't prevent him from automatically stopping his chant after the first phrase ends. I don't know what to do.
  3. When I completed that quest in 1.05, I had the option to keep the medallion (there was a dialogue option for it when talking to quest giver).
  4. Chain Lightning and Crackling Bolt share the same description.
  5. Before fighting undead Raedric as part of the Champion of Berath quest, there's a dialogue option to inform him that you're the Chosen of Berath even before completing the Servant of Death quest and pledging yourself to Berath.
  6. Servant of Death - dialogue option #4 - braches >> branches
  7. There was a problem with hired adventurers not being able to open locked chests/mechanics, but this was fixed in version 1.03. What version are you running?
  8. I know that, but they should probably react accordingly to being hacked to death. Oh, well... Sawyer knows best.
  9. Dunryd Psion costs 100cp/turn and contributes -2/+2 to Security/Prestige, whereas Mercenary Captain costs five times less but adds +3/+3. Maybe the Psion is amazing in combat, but that's pointless since the Stronghold rarely gets attacked (I'm on turn 72, ~80 hours in, and I have only been attacked three times).
  10. When you force an attack on a confused enemy (by pressing A or clicking on the Sword icon), the enemy doesn't break away from the Confused status effect. I don't know if this works as intended, but if it does, then it can easily be exploited by attacking them and not having them retaliate. Weren't enemies supposed to break away from all charm/dominate/confuse effects if there were no characters or creatures hostile to the player?
  11. She doesn't discuss it if you pass a skill check and tell her that you're there on behalf of Raedric. If you choose that option, you can't initiate a dialogue with her afterwards.
  12. It's a known problem. Besides, it's not like you lost anything important; you're gonna find better equipment in the next couple of minutes anyway.
  13. They really need to correct a lot of ability descriptions (inconsistency between them and the way the abilities work in combat is driving me nuts). I didn't select this ability because I thought it was bugged.
  14. Disintegration is a level 6 Cipher spell that deals 30 damage over 15 seconds... that's a whopping 2 damage per second for an end-game ability. This can't be right.
  15. I completed the Champion on Berath quest, and the Frightening Aura icon is stuck on several of my characters even after resting. EDIT: The icons went away after saving and loading.
  16. When triggered, the spell plays multiple instances of the "lightning crash" sound effect at the same time. When fighting a large number of enemies (e.g. Xaurips), the combination results in a cacophony that sounds dreadful and earsplitting. I think the spell should play the same effect as Returning Storm to stop it from overwhelming every other sound effect in battle.
  17. I hate to be bumping this thread, but I noticed something else; all ambient sounds get muted when starting a dialogue. This leads to absolute silence while talking to another character unless there's music in the background (which more often than not isn't the case; the amount of time without music playing in the background is another issue). I went back to 1.05 (again) and everything seems to work fine. Please don't sweep this issue under the rug; even though it's not game-breaking, it ruins the immersion.
  18. If you try to load a 1.06.0591 game in 1.05.0567, the save file gets corrupted.
  19. Did you grab that equipment from your temporary companions?
  20. Maybe the "Marking" enchantment would be somewhat useful if it added an Accuracy value high enough (like 200 or something) to guarantee a critical hit on the following attack, effectively having another character "consume" the mark. Just a suggestion to "fix" the problem if the underlying mechanics of the ability prove to be too difficult to resolve.
  21. The accurcary tooltip for Flames of Devotion displays only the base accuracy value (i.e. it ignores the +20 to accuracy added by the patch). The combat log displays the accuracy value propely.
  22. When you limit the frame rate to a certain value and restart the game, the graphics options screen displays a different value despite the identical position of the slider. Check the screenshots below... As far as I can tell, this doesn't affect the frame rate itself, but it might lead to confusion for those who use this feature.
  23. This wasn't fixed as of 1.06.0591. The bug also affects the game when a characters loots a corpse.
  24. That's an odd turn of events. Have you tried getting the summoned creature killed elsewhere?
