Are per encounter spells needed? And are they balanced?
I don't think the solution is to destroy encounter spells, since that is more of a convenience and growth thing anyways. No one wants to use auto attack too often as a Wizard. Maybe just balance the more crazy spells for future expansions. Per encounter Shadowflame Cold Nuke in expansion2 would just be ludicrous lol!

Because badly balanced SP is a sign of poor game design.

What race/class did you pick?
Female Moon-Godlike Wizard for both my old Vanilla and new Whitemarch playthoughs.
-
All wizard party - any roadblocks?
Extreme easy, but at a possible cost of Extreme micro and a lot of resting at first.
-
Role of fighter?
lol so true.
-
Is Wizard still garbage?
Wizard is imo easily the best class atm, especially to have as the PC as they are amazing to drive often once you get per encounter.

Fighter Balance Mod for 2.01
aka letting the AI take over the lolFighter and take personal control of your Caster. Or not taking a Fighter in your party at all, that's an even better method of playing a Fighter.

Does TurningWheel and IronWheel stack?
I heard they do not and it is bugged? Any verification?

PoE expansion: The White March part 1
Party AI and Monk/Rogue companion, YES!

RPGCodex Review #1 - Hŵrpa Dwrp
I question if this person was trolling because of the "obsidian's worst game comment" He should have really left that out, because I'm not sure if it was a real review or just a fake article. Obsidian have some really really ****ty games, there is no way PoE is even half as bad as those.
- Why use Field Triage? [solved]

PoE has too much clicking!
This is what happens when you run out of funding for party scripts/ait.

Whos better dps Mork or Barb?
monk, gotta constantly get hit to do less overall damage than rogue/barb....and fists go out of style fast. sounds awesome. by awesome I mean ****ty.

Wizard suggestion
Wizzy isn't that bad except for the wonky spell progression tied in with camping resulting in very tiresome 9 first levels (quite a few hours). More of a game design issue than a balance/performance issue, even though Cipher/Barb still blow them out of the water generally speaking.

For the love of Eothas nerf petrify.
Nerf petrify, but make Wizard spells per encounter occur at a far lower level then we have a deal.
-
Petrify. Lol.
The only reason to bring a Wizard along. Unless you have the trap, then lol.

Why do Ciphers start with full focus?
because balance sucks

Angry Joe LOVED Pillars Of Eternity
I agree with most of his opinions. Very great game, but the lack of AI/Scripts and pathing issues stopped it from being as amazing as the IE classics.

Wish there were an option to remove resting restrictions
I know many of the people thinking the Camp system kinda sucks have beat the game on PotD. The difficulty stuff is a tired argument, don't bother using it. It's about our 2nd or third PoTD play through we begin to really see just how much of a chore this camp system is compared to BG2's system. It's just not as good, simple as that.

Alternative resting system for future installments
1. Step 1: Copy Paste IE engine resting system. 2. Step 2: ?? 3. Step 3: Profit

Let's talk class balance....
I wouldn't call that type of Solo a display of monks power.

Wish there were an option to remove resting restrictions
No it's not. Hard mode is very easy and my smoothest run yet was without any of the badly designed spell-resting Classes wasting my time with pointless camping. Infact, my Barbarian OR Cipher in the party could nearly solo it, without stealth cheesing or summon items (I can link you to the builds). And no worry about saving spells for later or resting. With those superior classes, you go all out every battle, like in IE games. The Camping System and limited supply mechanic is fine, but tying spells into it for 3 classes was badly approached and adds needless monotony. It gets better at level 9 (marginally), but that's most of the hours of the game. I loaded up my BG2:EE Sorc this weekend and it was so much more fun. I can't imagine anyone who would say the opposite. TLDR: Resting in the IE games was handled better in relation to spells.

Monk-Only item is terrible?
Were do those drop?
- Am I the only one who doesn't like Monks at all ?

The resting in the stronghold is terrible design
Traveling TO your SH should automatically give Rest + Building Bonuses as soon as you are done loading in. Traveling anywhere FROM your SH should give a major fatigue reduction for that one trip.
