Wouldn't be THAT hard to solve the problem, if you were builiding from scratch. Which frankly is what I'd be tempted to do. On the other hand, it is only 100k. Not bad for a bachelor pad or office.

Being a bit myopic, there. I spent time in Asia and can assure you that nothing gets on the drunkenness, fornication, and fat people ticket quite like a corrupt dictatorship.

Couldn't think of a better place to put this quote: The biggest coward is a man who awakens a woman's love with no intention of loving her. - Bob Marley- 526 replies

Fallout 3 / New Vegas Expansion Packs
Walsingham replied to Rodus Maxumus's topic in Obsidian General
If I were sitting at the big table at Obsidian HQ I wouldn't want to do any more FO3/NV work for a while. To stay vibrant they need to prove their chops in other ways, but still showcasing their strengths. The Stick of Truth and Eternity are exactly the sort of thing they should be doing. Not saying I don't sympathise with your desire for more Vegas. Just saying it has to be set against the needs of the company. -
While I am a foremost proponent of the enlightening virtues of booze and bikinis, there IS a place in this world for sober contemplation and purity. I don't think drunkenness, fornication, and fat people are the way to sell the benefits of free democracy to deeply conservative folks.

Surely you're going to get horrible problems with condensation.

Call me squeamish, but I'm rethinking my food plans.

Watched Moulin Rouge Far superior impact compared with when I first saw it. I think the hype set the expectation way too high. With a lower expectation the set pieces had far more explosive furore, the jokes were funnier, and being older I'm more forgiving of the songs. X-Men, First Class (iirc) Acceptable. Good performances from the male leads elevate a damned silly plot.

Blew my budget getting brunch in London. So potato and onion soup tonight. Flour roux, stock cube, onions fired, thin sliced potatoes in, tablespoon milk. One slice brown toast.

Not this bollocks again. Not everyone reading this forum regards the arguments or the people behind them as pointless. _If_ you do, perhaps you should switch on. You might learn one or two things. I know I have.

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?
Walsingham replied to Arcoss's topic in Computer and Console
Those books are just SO bad. Anyone who fancies themselves as a connoisseur of the awful has to try them. -
I have given it much thought and decided that his only option now is to put on a 'disguise' and fight crime.

Went to see God's Own Junkyard. Very cool. And run by nice people. Worth checking out.

How dare you accuse the Russian government of enacting showy manoeuvres with no real change. A Russian wouldn't even know the meaning of such a low Potemkin policy.

Have you ever actually met any Afghans? Somalis? Malaysians? Qataris? Because I have, and right now you're sounding a lot like an ignorant ****ing racist.

Opportunity to step back: Are you suggesting that all Muslims should be judged by the standards of one Muslim country? It's like saying that all Christians are Ugandan Christians. Or English Christians.

The modern obsession with dismissing spirituality is just as mystifying to me as the obsession of my Victorian grandfathers who wanted to dismiss sexuality. At least the Victorians could point the finger of culpability directly at STDs.
