SWEET!!! ... Skipping off to install KoTOR2

I haven't seen all of his films, but from what I have seen... yes would be my personal opinion. His style is just not my cup of tea. Is there a film you would recommend by him that stands out?

eXistenZ I don't know what i was thinking when i rented the movie. The premise was pretty cool, and the theme had a bit of potential but this cyber punk movie was not written or directed well AT ALL! I cringed over and over again.

Broken Sword: Shadows of The Templars I just beat it a bit ago. I like the game, it had a good mix of humor, and adventure. Ill play Runaway next

No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 are great games. Highly recommended!

I already played, beat and uninstalled oblvion. They said they were not coming out with any new addons. Ohwell! I loved the game, even though sometimes it felt repetitive. I wonder if they created another patch yet. anyone know? Last i remember i had a ton of bugs in my game!

um, sorry, but i made my points pretty clear and i never said there can be a without-a-doubt link between correlation and causation. in fact, i even remarked that "proof" only exists in the mathematical realm. i've always said "implied," except on the issue of causation itself. the burning cotton example is definite cause and effect, in spite of the lofty notions of esoteric philosophers. it is not simply correlation. based on what i read of humes, which admittedly isn't much, i fundamentally disagree with him. i'd be willing to bet most hard sciences types such as i am would as well. taks lofty notions of esoteric philosophers? What annoyed me with STALKER is just taking a stroll through the nuclear winter wonderland and BAM, i get a message that I FAILED a mission... I can't fail a mission, agh! Ill pick the game up again, i just have other games im playing now. Dp any of you people get random failed missions too? :blush10:

The correlation between cause and effect is a phenomenon that we can't with-out-a-doubt explain using the deductive reasoning taken far back enough. Humes billiard ball example explains this. Our senses, our tools, may not be able to perceive everything, so whos to say we can explain everything... the correlation between cause and effect are conveniences that help us explain the world around us to the best to our ability. We try and try to find new ways to help us perceive new ways to explain phenomenons IE LHC at CERN.

It sucks anyway. The original UT is still the single best UT! Well so fr its just the demo. I've mastered (for me atleast) the controls on UT2K4, UT3 has a different feel for sure. I can't feel like im moving as fast. The jumps and wall jumps aren't doing much. I can't even do a Forward forward hop followed by a jump all in one combo like in UT2K4, but it isn't 2K4 and this isn't even the official DEMO yet. I want to play it online too! Ill end up buying it. I am dissapointed in how it runs on my new machine though. 2.4 Core 2 duo, 2 gigs of 800Mhz DDR2 ram, 7900GTO running like a bit choppy at 800X600... Maybe ill get a next generation graphic card when they finally come out. 9200 series by nvidia sounds promising. basically like 8800 but a die shrink finally. How did it run on your machine bok?

I've been playing a bunch of older games since i have a laptop now. I Have an Adventure Game Called Broken Sword. No One Lives Forever a must have for any First person Shooter fan. Also System Shock 2. I have some other Adventure games ined up like Syberia, Grim Fandongo (spelling?) and Max Payne. Anyway, Broken Sword is Surprisingly good! If you can get past the older graphics GET IT! It reminds me of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers.

I have System SHock 2, the CD, not pirated and i i couldn't really get into it yet. Sometimes i just have to come back to a game later though. At first i didn't like KoTOR1 and after i got into it became one of my favorite games along with WarcraftIII, but the Frozen THrones Expansion i didn''t finish... I think it was because they cut the cinematic cut scenes out of it.

Quake 3 Runs great, UT2004 Does also, even online, Im surprised! SCUMMVM sounds like a good site. I use to own all the KQ games, and GK, guess i use to be a real Sierra Games nut. maybe ill check the new kings quest remake out soon!

Laptops are generally slower then Desktops, and I have a laptop now too. I was looking at my game collection and noticed barely any og my games will play on my laptop. Here are my specs Dell 610 Latitude Windows XP Professional 1.73 Pentium M 1 Gig Ram X300 ATI Radeon Integrated GPU Sigma-Tel Integrated Sound I also got rid of all of the bloatware preinstalled. Maybe Ill Get a cheap Audigy Express Card but other then that there are no upgrades forthis machine, unless i bought a 7,200 RPM Harddrive. Its not 733t but its what i got for $375 Dollars. (btw the americna dollar equals canada's dollar, first time in over 35 years) Anyway my question is what games would you guys recommend for a laptop wih these specs? I have Max Payne and Return to Castle Wolfenstien and surprisingly they both work great! I just hope I can get Unreal 2004 on here!!! I like FPS, Adventure games.

I enjoyed Halo 1, i thought it was entertaining. I would like to play the other two, but i don't see myself running out to the store just to get Windows Vista or an XBox for one game. One game isn't worth $150 - $400 dollars too me for the upgrade, unless its Duke Nukem. Yarr!

You can also install PCDecrapifier to get rid of the bulk. But a clean install of just the operating system is best!
