Serafen's "Gift"
InsaneCommander replied to Suen's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
So many cool hats. How can I be a godlike? -
I can't wait anymore. I'll play and use some sidekicks so if there is still any problems with companions I won't have to worry too much. I really like the brute and sorcerer multiclasses so Rekke and Fassina will be more than welcome to my party. And Mirke is Mirke. The last spot goes for Serafen since I'll be going full pirate. I suspect these guys won't whine about that.

Nothing like throwing a fireball every time you see more than 3 npcs together. But I'll leave that for another watcher. My first one only kills if there is a reason. Stealing is a different matter, of course.

Patch 1.1.0 Updates Thread
InsaneCommander replied to David Benefield's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Ok... Good to know. -
I dont mind that, i would just like to be able to switch between ridiculous and veteran when i get tired of reloading multiple time for all fights. Same here. I want to play Veteran first, with a good challenge. Then I'll try PotD, hoping for a greater challenge, but if it gets impossible I'd rather change to Veteran than abandon the game. Imo, a really difficult PotD would be perfect for a third playthrough, with a combination of Magran's fires and Berath's blessings that suited my tastes and maybe a full custom party with some nice builds.

Yes, but it's the only thing we can do in the short time. Specially in my case because I don't have as much time as I want to play games and I take a lot of time in games like this. I usually listen to everything that has voice acting and do my exploration with no hurry. Maybe I'll even use the walk toggle. I won't be able to judge the difficult of late game for many weeks... Anyway, the OP seems satisfied about the early game information and understands that late game is a different thing. So it is helpful. I think I read it somewhere too. Medicine for me too...
