What happens if you kill all the crew characters
InsaneCommander replied to InsaneCommander's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)That is sad. If we could hire more crew members indefinitely then I could have more mutinies and more killing. But who knows, maybe it's because nobody wants to join a doomed ship...

Companions and Romance
InsaneCommander replied to InsaneCommander's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Yes, they could have made it available for the beta backers. It would at least have allowed them to fix these bugs from release. I didn't get any spoilers of DOS2. Was it a problem? I don't think so.

Companions and Romance
InsaneCommander replied to InsaneCommander's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I'm finishing a PoE1 playthrough too. It's my only character that kept the baby, so I want to have the endgame save file to import. For the others I will use the legacy creator, so I'll miss anything unique when importing a file. Can't play without Vela.

InsaneCommander replied to InsaneCommander's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)But what if you don't have even the minimum crew?

What happens if you kill all the crew characters
What happens if you kill your crew on multiple mutinies, do you ran out of options? Will you be unable to sail with the minimum crew? Suggestion: let us recruit custom crew members just like we recruit custom sidekicks.

sidekicks as companions in expansions?
InsaneCommander replied to Doorslammer's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Josh just said in the stream that they are well aware that people want sidekicks to become companions in the dlc. He mentioned Ydwin specifically. He didn't promise anything, but I got a good impression, I think there is a good chance.

Ideas for a quick and dirty PoE3
InsaneCommander replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A bigger PoE3? Make it the whole map of Eora. But if it has to be a specific area, I suggest the living lands too. Plenty of variation there. As for the story, I'd prefer one that is not urgent, so you can realistically explore to your content. Maybe you need to collect artifacts or research different Engwithan sites before moving to the last area.

[POTD Difficulty] Launch NOT tuned discussion thread
InsaneCommander replied to Haran's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)You can play it now, as long as you don't mind an easy game and being in a parallel universe where your companions did completely different things.

Wizards...butchered.
InsaneCommander replied to Hebruixe's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I just tested a Fury/Evoker using console commands to get experience to reach the maximum level. I could select all the thunder, fire and ice spells that I wanted even distributing my points in the two classes. I don't think this new system is bad. Grimoires add a lot of options and versatility, although if you choose a subclass you risk not finding a good one. When I play as this character I'll probably have Fassina in my party as a Conjurer since I like mages and I'd miss the conjuration and transmutation spells. So I don't mind the restriction. As for the level 8 and 9 spells that I miss in multiclass, I think I'll simply get them from scrolls (Wilting Wind, Avenging Storm, Great Maelstrom, Meteor Shower and Tornado are some of the higher level options) even though I won't be able to empower them (I assume).

InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)My main goal for this game is to collect as many weirdos as possible and put them on my ship, and it's going pretty well so far! Not only do I have an imp navigating, but ... I haven't played much yet, but I can't wait to do that.- Portraits II

InsaneCommander replied to Madbird's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)There should be three types of reputation gains: - what you do in public - what you do with your companions without anyone else seeing (should only affect their opinions) - when you choose "[Lie]..." you should gain a reputation that don't necessarily reflect your personality The last one would increase your standing with Wael's faith if you are one of his priests and look good to companions that like shady behavior.- Portraits II
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Post them here, but start your post saying that it's not a request for watercolor. Others can ask for those later.- Definitive FAQ on Beraths Blessings
InsaneCommander replied to Karkarov's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Check the pictures I added to my previous post. It says sleight of hand comes from Rogue. But I know what you are talking about, the wiki says rogues get insight instead. One way or another, there is definitely a bug there. Yes, it's unfair with single class characters. It should double the skill points, not add 2 to each one.- Portraits II
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Sorry if I missed it, but did you post or find the portrait you are using as an avatar in this thread?- Portraits II

InsaneCommander replied to Judicator's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Woedica, Berath and Skaen don't look like gossipers. So is it Hylea or Magran?- Berath's Blessing ignores +2 skill for Sleight of Hand
