I don't remember who was leading my party, but I had Visas, Mira (non-Jedi), and HK-47, and I had Visas do the DS Energy thing. First time I saw that energy stuff was on Korriban where it wasn't labelled...so I didn't know what the heck it was.

I don't agree with you but your post gave me some laughs nevertheless. I accept that a Male PC seems to get more entertainment in K2 over a Female PC, but not that much different from KotOR 1.

If it takes more time to make it better, even better than K1, then I'm prepared to wait - play something else till then...like Star Wars Lego! Too bad my graphics card doesn't have "Pixel Shader 1.0 and Vertex Shader 1.1". (besides, gives me more time to get a better computer so I would be able to play K3 when it does come out )

I finished my first KotOR 2 game a couple of weeks ago. Male/LS & Revan Male/LS. I'm thinking of starting my game soon (unless I can get LEGO Star Wars Demo working ), and I'm wondering what the next best combo of the game I should use to keep it 'fresh'. In total, there are 8 main combos, Male/Female & LS/DS for Exile and Revan, and like I said, I've done Male/LS for both. It's all personal preference I suppose but just say what order you did them in then.

I liked Nar Shaddaa. (either that or Onderon) I'm also in the group that found Nar Shaddaa to be the Taris equivalent of K1 (side quests of all lengths, lots of classic LS or DS choices). Seeing the changed worlds of Dantooine and Korriban were interesting, but I guess I'm just a fan of the RPG-talkabout-interaction style. Peragus would be my last choice...

KotOR II also has a lot of brown in it right, like in the work bench? I prefer the K1 Blue anyway

My Force Sight doesn't seem to do anything either (in both views). "Arrgghh! My eyes, ze goggles do nothing!"

I think the implication is that there is either a shield generator in the Academy area, or the shield has been "extended" to cover that small bit.

It was always going to be Visas or her... then after seeing those cutscenes of her doing stuff, it was almost a give away. Obsidian didn't expect this to be a "revelation" right? Edit: I never got these lines cos my Influence with her sucked. I always chose the LS options which disagreed with her ,

I read in another thread about Force Sight. Now I could never seem to get my force sight to work (I click the power and nothing would happen in either 1st/3rd person view), but apparently Atris appears as Dark Side when you face her for the 2nd time, but I'm guessing unless you cheat (can pick sight as a level-up power?), you won't have Visas to see what alignment Atris is earler. All in all, might not mean anything since it could just be game mechanics - kinda like a "neutral" Malak in the final fight of K1.

The whole tomb sorta freaked me out - kinda like that dead Jedi. Then when you finally come out, apparently a lesson has been learnt? I can't put my finger on it. Was it supposed to show you what would've happened if you stayed with Revan? thus the Dark Side appearance of yourself

Malak was a more traditional Sith lord where as Kreia wasn't a Sith or Jedi - well definitely more Sith than Jedi but not your classic Darth.

The Rakatan made the point that the Star Forge was built "from" the Dark Side. It's a been while since I played K1 but something like that.

In general, I think Obsidian decided to try and "transform" the Party-Member Quests into the whole deal with Influence and stuff. I would've liked to see conversations outside of the ship.

Isn't this practically the same as "who do you think is the hottest", or "who do you like the most" sort of thing again? Well anyway, I'll be a good sport and go along with this. I say Bastila (as I have with all the other polls like this). The only assumption is that this is post-Star Forge LS Bastila and she wants the date as well.

Probably would've been better to not have a poll since there's so many options. Although I think HK-47 would win easily even with Carth on the list! Hk-47 vs C3-PO is like "the mighty robots of Battlestar Galactica versus the gay robots from Star Wars" - Simpsons Bi-Mon-Fi-Sci-con

Voted Bastila's bra! Of the real options, I would say Korriban cos it's been a Sith world for ages and ages.

I don't think you can see how much. I'm gonna talk a bit more general about influence. Well, I suppose you've done all the obvious steps like listen to them and agree with them. Since it's Handmaiden, have you done the training fights with her? Also, Influence is gained mainly through conversations (well, duh), and some conversations where influence can be gained take place outside the Ebon Hawk through some quests, cutscenes at locations, and so on. So consider taking her along with you on some of your missions.

I say "reaslistic" Jedi like Luke Skywalker or Kyle Katarn. Probably more Katarn cos he acted based on what's right, rather than whether it was against the Jedi code. It almost cost him when he was under the impression Jan Ors was killed in Jedi Outcast but he made it through alright (and the game did make it look realistic).

One of the NPCs will say that she was only recently killed, so maybe just as you landed on the planet. So not at the start of K2. Atris' files said that Vash was on Korriban from the beginning, so I'm thinking she went there to hide like the other masters - not that it matters I suppose ,

Then to feel betrayed cos the least worthy Handmaiden got the affection she had always wanted . Jealousy/Passion leads to the Dark Side.... Well I suppose all the factors above could be linked like this: Arrogance of Last Jedi > Sith Research to beat them > Her Will is weakened by the holocrons > Emotion charged when Exile returns (questions herself?/distracted?) > ready for the "final push" by Kreia. She also did sound a bit "out-of-it" when Kreia walked in and she was all "I am the last of the Jedi, you are a Sith, enemy of the Jedi" (paraphrasing [sp?]). Putting loud "Sith Speakers" into a meditation chamber was just....stupid!
