I agree with better encounter design. I hope that the AI that allows for wandering NPCs allows for wandering enemies as well. I think we are getting better factions, Josh stated something to that effect. More open world may be a limitation of the engine. The world design is very similar to the Infinity Engine games, not sure how maps would work in such a game in an "open world" design. As far as loot is concerned, I think they actually did a great job with loot in POE. There was crafting, and not a lot of meaningless junk outside of hats and armor/weapons that would be downgrades. Maybe they could add blacksmithing which would allow you to salvage armor and weapons and allow you to craft upgrades. I assume soulbound weapons will return, and hoping for soulbound armor/jewelry as well.

The improvement of the character models is a huge deal for me, as it will allow for more immersion in the story. I also really like how your clothes (and hair possibly?) will be blown around by the wind. Hopefully there are more options for character model customization when you create a new character as well (facial features, etc).

$1 100 000 Reached!1

the reason for the slower funding is most likely due to the paypal thing. -
No thanks, I didn't even like the narrator in Baldurs Gate, I would have just preferred to read the text. I don't mind the random vocalizations from companions (banter), or even if a significant character says the first line or 2 of their dialogue. But fully voice acted characters don't really fit this genre.

There is a Comments section on the Fig campaign site. Look at the black stripe just under the video. -
Paypal backing ?

Of course I've got a debit card. A Dutch debit card. Which is of no use when Fig (and Kickstarter for that matter) asks specifically for a credit card. In the US debit cards also function like regular credit cards. There are MasterCard and VISA debit cards that have 16 digit numbers accepted wherever VISA and MasterCard are accepted. -
reducing the party size would reduce the amount of spells and abilities that have graphics displayed on the background, which would help to see what is going on, I wouldn't mind. regarding the "huge problem" of importing a save, you could just be given an option of who to have in your party and who stays in your ship.

Paypal backing ?

...if you're an US resident. Which a lot of people are not. Also, the card comes with a $4.95 a month fee. Which is awful. ah, didn't notice it was US only, and yes the monthly fee is terrible. i thought it was just something you could automatically link to your paypal account. surprising that european banks don't issue debit cards. -
