  1. Yeah, I tried to convince him to release the still image anyway, but, apparently, I've failed Nice try though. I imagine we will see more info in about a month or so, so they don't conflict with PR for Tyranny.
  2. Which is especially appropriate since half the playerbase - me included - still cannot spell the name of that race! Aumamua for me PS: I'm reading this thread daily, should we expect a big announcement about PoE2 after the release of Tyranny? One can dream, right? I know, I had to look up the spelling myself on a wiki, and I still am not sure of how to spell the imaginary race/species. I also hope for an announcement soon, a release date would be nice. Also hoping modding tools get released at some point...
  3. so it sounds like the sequel will take place on islands and feature Amamua....
  4. you can see what's happening very clearly, read the combat log.
  5. Pillars of Eternity. Its great, and makes me want to play the enhanced edition of the infinity engine games. Really enjoying the innovative game systems Obsidian designed with this one. Hope we get an expansion or a sequel soon in the coming years. Had a thought while playing, BG when it came out in 1998 pushed my Pentium 3 to the limit. What would an isometric RPG that actually uses the power of modern gaming PCs look like? Higher res textures, more amazing spell effects, more detail, etc. Why not?
  6. Remember that there is a tactical element to this style of RPG. If you aren't playing tactically, you aren't going to have a good time. In addition, there is a manual that explains in great detail how the combat system works. Highly recommend you read it.
  7. I agree completely. It's refreshing when a developer expects it's customers to be intelligent and engaged.
  8. Obsidian - Thank you so much for rekindling my love for well crafted CRPGs, and for demonstrating to investors that there is a market for this type of experience. Hoping for many more games in this IP, I love it. It has a very Max Gladstone vibe. Would like to see the story develop over generations - given that this is medieval, would like to see Renaissance, etc. Well done on this game, very very well done.
