  1. It's pay to win though, especially if they were to implement looting companions or "early access" to certain weapons/items Not a lick surprised though, they've been milking their customers for years and gamers deserve this for buying the **** from the start, gamers deserve the giant pecker heading for their rectum.

  2. Short answer: It's wearing a backpack, but sadly no it doesn't have inventory. There are different accessories for them, altho most are deco I think. There's flashlight maybe. I think you can "point" in a direction and depending on dominant personality traits they may or may not go over and may or may not bring you some resources or a sellable treasure. But it all seems about as useful as telling a cat to fetch the morning paper. I mostly collect them (temporarily or not) for uniqueness/ funsies/lol's, just like the ships.

  3. The biggest animal I've "adopted" so far. My chr. is in there somewhere, lower left. Probably won't keep it, but yeah, it's big. When it walks next to me, all I see is a bit o' legs. Keep meaning to do another collage of pets but ... lazy...

  6. I watched it again after the new Dune (Part 1) and right now I think it's better. But I also thought that Dune Part 1 was pretty much a 2+ hour advertisement for the sequel and also have......strange taste in general. Make the inhuman man-worm show up early. Paul can see the future or some ****, let him see the future of the man-worm.

  7. Well, the actual man-worm is in God Emperor of Dune, and that is book 4. I mean, yeah, technically Leto II fuses with larval stage sandworms in book 3, but the inhuman sand-worm is in the fourth one, set like ten thousand years after the first three books.

  8. I actually started watching Diamond is Unbreakable a couple of days before you mentioned it, Netflix recently added it to the library (before there was only Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders and Stone Ocean). Don't know exactly what it is with JoJo's, but every time I am watching an episode I am having a blast with it, and wonder why I don't go through it at a faster pace, and then I just don't... dunno, I only watch like an episode or two a week, for some reason. The episode with THE LOCK was the first one in a while that I really did not like. The last time that happened was in Phantom Blood which had a bit of a rough start in my opinion. Eh, well, can't keep it up all the time, huh?

  9. Oh, also, if you haven't seen this before, it's one of the bestest. A very "talented" cat - at least for hand cues.

  10. Interesting how they adapted random encounters travelling on the world map to the setting. While travelling in your void ship, you have some resource to allow your navigator to plot a safer course, which I guess reduces the chance of random encounters. I decided to do an unsafe journey, which resulted in crew members going mad, bursting into my quarters and trying to kill me, alongside some daemonettes. My party started trickling in after a while as reinforcements for me. I explored a spaceship adrift in an uninhabited star system. God those were annoying, tedious fights, with a type of enemy that did nothing but give temporary hit points to all enemies every turn. And those things respawned. I barely survived the boss fight at the end. Funny thing is, the sister of battle went from feeling useless to feeling useful halfway through. Guess I am beginning to learn her play style. On another note, this game is Bruce-friendly: you can romance Jae.

  12. Crazy studio by the way. At this pace, in 48 months from now they're gonna be finished with Starfinder 2 and Ravenloft 3 (heh, I wish). 2018 Kingmaker 2021 Wrath 2023 Rogue Trader Plus multiple DLC, Enhanceds and of course fixes in between. In that same time, Electronic Arts have held two major emergency meetings. Topic: What should we be doing with EA RPG (aka Bioware) next exactly.

  13. Inside Out (2015). As a generally committed Pixar hater, I'll have you know that the only Pixar film that I really like is WALL-E. Okay, and A Bug's Life is enjoyable, and I suppose Monsters Inc. and all the Toy Storys are all roughly equally just okay...but I didn't like Cars, I didn't like Ratatoullie, I didn't like Brave, or Finding Nemo, or either of the Incredibles, or Up, or Turning Red, or Monsters University...and yes, I've actually seen all of these and I think a couple of others, and heck, I even watched some of these during my own childhood, so if I didn't like them as a kid or as an adult, you should know that I'm pretty serious about it. But I'll have you know that I am a big, emotionally underdeveloped baby...which I am sure everyone already knows, and also that I loved Inside Out, and I made a mistake waiting so long to watch it. I am sorry, past myself. It may or may not be in my top 50 films of all time pursuant to watching it again sometime and confirming my feelings towards it (not that that really means much, it's not exactly a super prestigious list seeing as it's like half animated films of various kinds in the first place). Also, I am sure that I knew it was a Pixar film in the past which is why I didn't go out of my way to watch it back then, but right before watching this, I had thought it was a Disney and not Pixar film, and I only learned after finishing it that it was in fact Pixar, and so I had eggs on my face doubly when I realized the horrible truth of the matter. Also, here are some short write-ups of some other films I watched over the past week-ish that don't matter nearly as much to me and in fact I almost cut them out of the post entirely because this post should really be about Inside Out, but since I already wrote them before watching Inside Out, I'm just going to dump them in this here spoiler where nobody will read them:

  14. It's time for you to watch a bunch of teenagers chase around a David Bowie impersonator in a small town during the bizarre summer of 1999. Break your brain in a good way.
