  1. After having my curiosity peaked and looking into it a bit, I have created a custom template the community can use to create encounters and run them. I have an idea for the use of this template that I think would be great for the community which I will discuss at the end but for now the technical side. Most people are likely aware of the SpawnPrefabAtMouse command which people often use for testing. There is also the SpawnPrefabAtPoint command which is lesser used but still interesting. To keep it simple, all I have done is create a executable TXT which spawns enemies at preset locations on the Crucible ring (to zone into this map, enable the console, press F11 and type "Crucible" into the search bar, the bottom one is what I tested this on). I have attached 3 TXTs to this post, 1 is called "dummy.txt" which is the template. It spawns 9 dummies in a 3 X 3 grid on the Crucible. What I then did is simply go into the "dummy.txt" and change the creature IDs to whatever I want, close the game and rerun the txt. I attached 2 more TXTs to this post, one is "dragon.txt" the other is "random.txt". "dragon.txt" includes Jaderfelas the Ancient and some other enemies and "random.txt" is just a bunch of stuff I threw it to see if it worked. To modify the TXTs to your desire all you need is the creature IDs, which are harder to find than you might think sadly. This is an incredibly rudementary "mod" if you could call it that but still accomplishes something I have wanted for a while, a custom battle "mode" for deadfire. To run it, paste the TXTs into the following pathway F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\data\batchfiles and just type "exec XXXXXX.txt" into the console with the XXXXX as whatever the name of the txt file is. There is much that can be experimented on with this including other maps, monster types and placements. The placements I used were just ones that worked but there are tons more, I am just not familiar enough with Unity Engine geometry to understand it beyond lots of boring copy paste testing. In my testing there were some issues with certain monsters, for instance the Sea Dragon. The Sea Dragon battle is tied to it's lair and as such, spawning it outside of the lair breaks the fight a little bit. Also, some monsters will fight amongst themselves (this occured with the Memory Hoarder and Steelclad Constructs), which while amusing can impede the intended encounter design. My idea for this "mode" is for the community to come together and effectively create our own Seeker, Slayer, Survivor. I think it would be a great community event where we all come together and create custom encounters for each other to play through and the best can be voted upon to create a series of encounters we can play through as our very own arena gauntlet. That is just a concept to build off this "mode" which I hope people can enjoy/find use for. dragon.txt dummy.txt random.txt

  3. Following the topic about Swift Flurry divine weapons, I found another magic trick. With this set of weapon, it is possible to proc a deadly crit chain at distance and with spells : Main hand : Mohora Tanga (Red Flag Flying) off hand : Azure Blade (Wrong place, Wrong Time) About the trick, Wrong Place, Wrong Time interrupt on hit (25% chance) with everything since their is at less 3 allies within 2m and if the target is further than 2m of their allies. It is also a melee attack and it is vs Fortitude (and benefit from the +10acc from the enchantment, restricted to Azure Blade attacks). There is also 25% chance to cause another Wrong Place attack on Wrong Place hit. When this effect crit, there is 33% chance to proc Swift Flurry (and 25% chance to proc HbD) and then a Mohora Tanga attack on the target(s), no matter their distance. Then, Mohora can also crit and proc in cascade Red Flag Flying (melee), that can proc a Mohora Tanga attack with Swift Flurry/HbD. The blue line is the distance between Birta (in red on the screenshot) and my Chanter-Monk. Birta has been hit by a chant, that have proc Wrong Place, Wrong Time >> Swift Flurry/HbD (main hand attack, Mohora) >> Red Flag Flying deadly chain>> more over than 930 damage. That can be really efficient with some pulsing spells (venombloom : 3rolls per pulse ; 2venombloom : 6 rolls per 3s) and with many enemies dispersed. This is a Effort-Like trick involving Swift Flurry instead of Avenging Storm (Hemorrhaging dont trigger Swift Flurry since even if it is a Melee attack from a weapon, that can crit (but the afflictions can, they are only status effects and not an attack by themselves). * Without Red Flag chain and other Mohora exploits, Azure Blade is a good weapon for MC Monk-caster, adding to the spells a possible main hand attack , so, many possibilities that make the monk part of pure caster build a more interesting presence. Of course, Wrong Place, like Red Flag Flying, proc Avenging Storm, and effects from gloves (melee weapon hit or crit effects), or also Enervating Blow, Spell Disruption, etc. From spells, if the Wrong Place Attack crit, that can refound a phrase for Skald (this is why I tested the synergy with a chanter-monk).

  4. Yes, you are correct, it does not make sense. And yes, you are correct, we are talking about Russia, and they shown a lot of time already, that they do not give a single **** about their supporters, and tend to do stuff, which does not make any sense on daily basis. just look at 770million worth of missiles launched few days ago… wasting so much of limited stock on civilian objects, instead of hitting as much as possible military objects, to stop UA momentum, is utter tactical nonsense. Not only it made Ukrainians more dedicated to fight against Russia, but it also accelerated some stuff in EU, with which some politicians were not very keen to do before this barrage… It was just another of the stupid political goals of Russia, as holding Kherson and besiege Bakhmut at all costs…

  5. @Darkpriest looks like I was correct about Meloni. The new Italian government is shaking even before it has been established. Berlusconi did an oopsie with couple of Vodka bottles, and Meloni as a reaction, has firmly shown him, where his place is. And hers. She is willing to drop her win in the election, if she will not be able to build a pro EU government. No place for Russian lapdogs there.

  6. With a ranged weapon in the main hand you can't produce SF/HBD-chains - maybe that helps with preventing crahes, too. --- Lol for Dire Talon with "Wurm Command" in the main hand and Mohora Tanga in the offhand. It gets crowded...

  7. Yeah unity kept bugging and needing reinstallation back in the day, so eventually I just uninstalled it. I also have this "gaming app" from my pc brand which clears the ram whenever i start up any game, for deadfire it usually clears between 800 mb and sometimes even 4 gig, so the ram is almost exclusively used for whatever game I'm running. I'm also running the game borderless windowed with the borderless gaming app, which reduces performance demands for most games.

  8. I already know the trick but with imported sup. scordeo (I try different think about stackable effects). With two equipped Scordeo' Edge, you can get two different effects (only different upgrade can stack, the second same weapon dont trigger a same effect at all). With two Scordeo's Edge n different weapon set, you can stack a same effect, they are not ilsted together in the list.This is also true for some debuffs, like Artezzo's cane, dualwielded with Humble and Haughty, or Retentless (Willbreaker) in two weapon slot (this is why that work with phantoms). About Dominated, that dont work at all with Debonaire. I dont know why the game didnt crash, but for sure with Mohora in offhand the game is surest.

  10. So I decided to give this a whirl and have found that the green part is feasible (though I am uncertain of the degree). I have attached a txt called "dummy.txt" which when executed spawns 10 dummy creatures (the Rotghasts). I will be exploring other creature spawn commands but this should be compatible with most things. What I am unaware of how to do is to determine the placement of the creatures relative. I imagine there would be some displacement command, i.e you could spawn it (+x, +y) distance from the mouse and produce spawn configurations that aren't a giant cluster of monsters. The txt goes into the following pathway, F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\data\batchfiles and when in the game type "exec dummy.txt" into the console. This is extremely rudamentary but proves the foundation of a type of community oriented encounter design could be accomplished. EDIT: I tested this with another encounter, I wanted to have it where you battled all the Dragons in the game at the same time but couldn't find Neriscyrlas spawn command. I replaced her with 3 Steelspine Warriors instead. This encounter highlights an issue with this format in that some enemies like the Sea Dragon can have mechanics that don't work outside of their area. The Sea Dragons huge Crush Nova is defended by the wards in the location you battle it in, those wards are not present on the Crucible ring so the Dragon can deal extreme Crush damage to your whole party for free basically. However, I still think this is a promising idea, call it Double Dragon if you will, a throwback to Llengrath's battle. Still unsure of how to fix the placement of the spawns but when you engage the enemies they will force themselves apart so it is still functional. EDIT 2: Experimenting with the SpawnPrefabAtPoint command has shown that you can place the enemies in seperate, pre plotted locations. The command requires an X Y Z coordinate input which without more knowledge into the games distance coordination I can't say much more on. What I can say for certain is using coordinates like in the range of (15-30, 1, 5-35) will place foes on the ring succesfully. I would need to try out more coordinates to see what works and where they will end up to be sure. Also I believe the Y coordinate should just stay at 1, it seemed increasing it past this made no change and is probably a function for maps with more verticality than the Crucible Ring.   12. Yes, both weapons with the full attack gain +20acc, but the Red Flag Flying attack dont. I tried with, in main hand, Frostfall ! Encroached Frost (10% chance to frozen enemy on crit) work only on Frostfall attack, and Dispersed Suffering is a Frostfall Attack. Encroaching Frost is also a melee weapon attack (not Dispersed Suffering as AoE). Because Dispersed Suffering proc often with SF/Red Flag crit-chain, it is not rare that the enemies around began Frozen. When this last effect crit, Swift Flurry can proc, That mean Swift Flurry in AoE (of course really random AoE but it is fun). Here, the 3 enemies in the Swift Flurry list are not in my character range, they have been crit by Dispersed Suffering (vs will) and then by Encroached Frost (vs fortitude, melee), and again then, Swift Flurry (Frostfall), twice for birta and the Rauatai, and 3 times for the musician!

The guys from Codex, and if judged by their incompetence so far, Russian officers as well, do not have a clue, that would be very bad idea, as right bank of Dnepr, especially Kherson city, are on much higher altitude than the left bank. Which would mean, that blowing up that dam, would wreak much much more havoc to the areas, which will be still under the Russian occupation, after they flee perform goodwill gesture from western Kherson Oblast

  16. Chainsaw Man 1 If you don't like blood, this is not for you. Denji hunts devils with Pochita (his pet chainsaw devil dog) to pay the debt his dead father left him. Chainsaw Man 2 Denji is recruited and joins the devil hunters. He wants to work with Makima, but ends up living with Hayakawa, a guy who doesn't like him, and paired with Power, a crazy devil possessed girl. Edit: it's devil, not demon. I"m playing too much WotR.

  18. Keep in mind the loop only procs with WotW, when theres more than one enemy to hit. Note how at the start i wotwed in just to cover distance and proc invis, it only got a couple hits and stopped, then a basic attack instakilled hauani, and as soon as there was two of them wotw started working "properly". There might be other conditionals like this for other abilities like FoD.

There is an active debate on Codex within the Ukraine thread about the Ruskies intentions to blow up the dam and Im genuinely unsure if they will One guy is Russian but doesnt like Putin but he supports Russia as a country under different leadership so he is also not pro-Ukraine. He says it doesnt make sense if they blow up the dam because it will impact the Crimean water supply or something similar and this is Russian controlled territory. He says the harm to the Ukrainians is not enough to justify that problem to pro-Russians living in Crimea? But the Russians have done several things that make no sense and right now they dont want to lose the conventional war so I think if they retreat from Kherson they will do it to inflict as much damage as possible to civilians infrastructure to slow the Ukrainian military advance?

Someone tried to sell my Aasimar some Aasimar fillets. Everyone always ignores my background as a noble, but not noticing an Aasimar in the Abyss is far worse. Ember is probably the only person who will be happy when somebody tries to turn her into a slave. And I don’t wanna know how Arue paid the floating meat ball when buying slaves. *I was buying the slaves to free them, planning on killing all the slavers later, once I was sure they wouldn't serve any other purpose, but Aivu was impatient so I decided to reload and not waste my money, regardless of the consequences. To be fair, I only knew Sasha Grey because I actually googled her (note for self, do not do that during work hours), after the name came up in a Nanowar of Steel song (Valhalleluja) where she got compared unfavourably to Knisa Light Grey. The whole thing was so bizarre I had to look up both names I did remember Jennifer Hale and David Warner from Baldurs Gate 2 though as the more memorable voices (probably the only two VA names I remember without prodding). I'm not counting Ron Perlman for his intro to Fallout, as he didn't voice a character.

  29. Same thing is happening to me. 3 "pets" stuck inside the rocks of the upper yard retaining wall. I can look at them through the pet house and see and hear them scuttling around under there but can't interact with them beyond that.
