  1. Do you have those Wolfenstein blues? Are you tired of RPG and loot em up mechanics being crammed into every single game? Do you miss the days when shooters were just shooters? Good news! Ion Fury is out now. I'm probably scooping it up when I get home from the road on Monday.

  2. That is really interesting indeed. I noticed a similar behaviour when using summonend weapons. In my case I used once on my multiclassed wizard Nannasin's Cobra Strike and Rot Skulls. If you cast Rot Skulls first and then Cobra you will have both summoned weapons in each hand. Simply means, double DoT on your target for more DPS. ____ I really forgot to mention something IMPORTANT about my Priest/Rogue Ultimate Run. Wit of Deaths Herald (upgraded ability that gives you Brilliant) can be cast out of combat, therefore it's effect also last after combat ends !!! You can, and I did so in my run ofc, cycle it between each fight without the need to rest everytime. That's why I mentioned that I only need to rest like 15 times. If you prolong the buff long enough you can easily jump into the next fight without resting, for example the arena fights in SSS or in the Forgotten Sanctum. Enjoy. As always. #IdoNotHideStrats Tenray

  3. Look, if you "randomly" put your age as less than 18 on any website and they wont let you continue, it's your fault. Remember kids, on the internet you're always at least 18 years old. For legal reasons: that was a joke.

  4. Yeah but to be fair all Dead Island 2's initial announcement hype got totally drowned out by World War 2 breaking out a couple of weeks later so they kind of had to reannounce it. And for something different; King's Bounty 2 has been officially announced. The announcement trailer is kind of generic (OK, it's about as generic as you could get if you set out to be generic) so I won't bother posting it, but I did enjoy the previous games even when the concept was being run into the ground post Armoured Princess. If my eyes didn't deceive me there will be console versions (and GOG) too, I'd think its style would go down pretty well with some console fans.

  5. gifted asked same not long ago, and gd smacked him with the rolled newspaper. thought the lesson were driven home. silly o' us. regardless, you are gonna need be specific. who is "everyone" and what specific issue are you speaking 'bout? regardless o' legality o' presence in the USA, all human beings is afforded a few basic rights by the US Constitution. one reason why a number o' administrations, democrat and republican, kept guantanamo viable as a detention facility is 'cause it were arguable not in the US. non-citizens who were held outside o' the US were having less/no rights, or so the argument were presented. but step foot in US and those Constitutional protections would immediate kick in and take effect, protecting due process rights and other such defenses. so an immigrant who manages to make it to the US, legal or otherwise, gots basic rights. am not certain why folks convenient forget that fact. also, as hurl points out, the immigrants is being held for civil offenses. is on par with minor traffic violations. hit and run and reckless driving is criminal, but minor traffic infractions is civil... and so too is illegal border crossing. so akin to parking or speeding ticket... but no more than 10 mph over the speed limit as that often is the point when excess o' speed triggers reckless. 'course even the most hardcore natavits who has at least a couple firing neurons would balk at making border violations criminal. why? 'cause then you gotta give accused illegal immigrants criminal trial protection such a speedy trial and lawyer and jury. at the moment, you got thousand and thousands o' backlogged cases-- years o' backlog. toddlers is being ushered into immigration courts where judges s'posed explain to the child their rights and responsibilities. this ain't a joke, and it happens daily... many times a day. am thinking far too many people have no idea what "illegal immigrant" means insofar as legal rights is concerned, or they is convenient forgetting. maybe you don't like the Constitution? you are welcome to try and change it. HA! Good Fun!

  7. For what it's worth, I do think the dearth of R-rated "A movies" was a greater problem a few years back than it is today, in great part thanks to Deadpool's success and the subsequent string of mid-budget R-rated successes and so on, what with Logan, John Wick, It, the Jordan Peele films et al. A24 is also progressively pushing its way into wider releases whilst always offering some interesting alternative to the all-too-familiar mainstream landscape. Whilst I wouldn't suggest the mainstream has sufficient diversity in the films they offer, I do hope the upwards trend of these continues.

  8. One of those times where the flowers end up making a double-fruit. The tomatoes themselves are maybe 1.5 to 2 inches wide. Larger than cherry in stores, but still pretty small. They grow this way. Apparently a lot of peppers do, but it's the first time I've seen one. I laughed pretty hard when I first saw it. Not sure of the variety name. I kept asking hubby but then I forget so I stopped asking. There are three hot pepper plants. The oldest one survived a winter and has barely any leaves ( a few on top) but determinedly keeps producing tons of large peppers anyway. Hubby tried pickling some in mostly a salt brine or something. They stunk and I didn't touch them. I'll stick to the store bought pickled jalapenos until/unless he does something similar. He grew up with relatives who did lots of canning/jarring so he wants to try it I guess. There's baby cucumbers growing too. He's just experimenting at this point, mostly. But a year or two from now I expect him to till up and take over half the lawn space or something. Hah.

  10. By the way: as single class Wizard you can still keep the one handed Great Sword from Citzal's Enchanted Armoury. I don't know if it then is not breaking (see Abydon's Challenge), but you can easily make two of those and dual wield them or simply wear a shield and still do two-hander damage. What you do: cast Citzal's Enchanted Armory, then cast Concelhaut's Draining Touch (will replace the Great Sword in your main hand, you will have one handed Morning Star + Draining Touch). Armory can wear off before the fight ends. Fight then ends and Draining Touch vanishes, but you'll get the Great Sword. My starting setup was fist + blunderbuss (offhand) - don't know if that's important. Just did this accidentially while testing stuff. Thought this was fixed but it is not. 100% reproducable for me. Unfortunately the old trick with Armory + Form of the Fearsome Brute (keeping the Breastplate with 11 AR but 0 recovery) no longer works. Maybe that's worth something - don't know.

  12. I know I have gone over this like a billion times, but it is not a criminal offense to be in the country illegally. It is civil. So yeah, it is also illegal to jaywalk. Also we are regularly shifting immigration laws in this country, so it shouldn't be a surprise that it is a complicated issue, instead of the black and white one so many people seem to think it is.

  13. Just checked: Best Defense comes legendary and its bashing stats (dmg, PEN, ACC) don't scale with legendary. They stay basic (0% dmg bonus, +0 PEN, +0 ACC ). Like all other bashing shields it only scales its shield deflection from +4 to +8 with the ledendary enchantment. It does not profit from Transcendent Sufferung or Monastic UT. you can enchant the bash seperately with +2 PEN OR +25% dmg. Which is laughable. I guess this mechanic of bashing is an oversight. It seems Obsidian can't get bashing right (exept Tuotilo's Palm which is an edge case).

  14. I nearly always play mass shieldbearers and I don't recall that I couldn't solve this without going aggressive, but it may be playstyle differences that cause me to always be able to pass with skill/rep checks. Usually, if I want to kill someone (like Cotta) but picking a fight through dialogue results in aggressive disposition, I just manually attack them without talking first. Which, obviously, is not aggressive behavior.

  16. It's tactics... Normally, I would have deployed Maia in "Overwatch" using her (legendary) Dragon's Drowry in twin-strike picking off enemies as needed... but at the Sacred Stair, she goes in, dual-weapon, melee-style much quieter... just like my rogue. I also back my wizard into the left side in the alcove away from the sight line of the guards. I position each player adjacent to each of the party members and strike each quickly with a huge blow... It's over quickly... very. Same goes for the Imp - I agree, positioning members out on the pier, again, no noise (bombs or gunfire) just devastating, incapacitating blows... all of this on turn based... the guards just stood there... preparation is everything.
