I was playing Mass Effect: Andromeda and enjoying it in a shallow sort of way. (Shooting stuff, zooming around in the Nomad, ticking off sidequests) . It helps that it got such a poor response when it was released -- I had no expecations to be disappointed. Then I bought a house needing renovation. It feels like signing up to some kind of monastic bootcamp where the training involves being hit by paint pots and paying nightly obeisance to an Ikea catalogue. Will I be able to go back to Andromeda once it's all over? Or will it be like Frodo returning to the Shire, but realising he's too traumatized to be able to appreciate it?

I'm still going backwards and forwards over whether to get the Enhanced Edition. It is one of my favourite games – the skew-whiff take on a traditional pulp fantasy story has been delighting me for years. But that's because of the writing and characters. Graphically it was...better than NWN1? It was just at the end of that that uncanny valley era when game devs all thought they had to do 3D, and it all looked a bit ****e. But 3D graphics of any standard have never done it for me, so the tinkering Aspyr have put the textures through isn't going to affect my experience one way or another. (Now if they'd rebuilt it as an isometric game in the style of PoE2, I'd have had it on pre-order before they announced it.) Dunno, I might bite the bullet and get Avowed instead.

Hi, not stronger in general (lacks the amount of summons for example and no free empowered invocations 1/encounter), but it sure has more strong damage options. Ninagauth's Shadowflame alone is a very tempting spell imo. Not only because of the dmg but because of causing hard disable + dmg simultaneously: awesome use of action time. Also Wall of Draining + Cipher buffs is very good ofc.

I fought and beat her multiple times yet have not gotten gold card for her. I dont wanna restart the whole game again. Will i be able to get the gold card later cuz I should have it but i dont and now i cant get my trapper peeper mutation to lvl 2. How do i fix this please

Hey guys, big fan of the game and the comunity. Keep restarting multiclass psion non-stop trying to play as a controller. Just when im starting to enjoy the character my mind think that the other option is better.. The trovadour + psion is great but i think it lacks damage... Do you think a psion/bloodmage can be stronger?

I got myself a Lumix micro 4/3 pocket camera a week ago with the intent of just keeping it in my jacket and taking the opportunities for shooting things that might present themselves during the day. Today I decided I would go hunting for Russian drones on my bike ride. No luck yet. On a whim I ordered a tele lens, doesn't arrive for a week though. I'll have to hope "peace" doesn't break out before then. For context The Russians are running a hybrid campaign where they are pretending not to send in military drones over our airports and pretending not to threaten our coastguard helicopters and pretending not to attempt to hack and take down critical infrastructure. It's like the cold war all over again. Drone flight paths near Kastrup airport. I bike past there all the time.

I tried the demo for MINOS. It is a dungeon defense game where you play the Minotaur and kill ancient greek warriors entering your maze to kill you. It is a rogue like, where you unlock traps and upgrades, but if you die, you lose everything but XP and start again from depth 0. Each level you can build and tear down walls to create paths for the heroes to walk down. You set traps on trap points. And some other nasty things more freely (like deadly doors that kill the third hero to walk through). Kinda nice bite sized dungeon defense fun.

what I really want to see is multi-type or cross-type Armour. the fighter/tank Armour lends well to either swords, Spears or maces, but in grounded 1 we got some pieces that helped all ranged, both staff and bow. I'd like to see things like fighter/mage cross-type armours or raanger/rogue, or even a generic mage Armour without a type focus

Yeah...... For reference, I am using Epic preset settings (3440x1440p ultrawide display) but with Render Scale set to 66% and FRL at 120 also. It is still somewhat irksome as I cannot maintain 100fps+ but I am thankful it at least is stable at this time with an... acceptable... balance of visual quality and performance.

Ugh, sorry to hear. Seems like there is still some stability enhancements needed. Whatever the reason, the title (which broadly extends to many recent UE5 titles) is a bit of a lottery when it comes to stability (and performance).
