213374U Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Oh yes those brutal police not placing their hands on the fragile little snowflake heads of MS-13 gang members, those bastards. Ah. So police brutality is acceptable depending on context? Hilarious because especially in the case of hardened gangbangers, violence does absolutely nothing to deter them. Those guys are willing to go up against los zetas without batting an eyelash. You think hitting their heads on police cars or being roughed up a bit by cops while "resisting arrest" is going to accomplish anything, other than possibly a bunch of lawsuits that taxpayers have to pick up the tab for? Nah. It's only internet badasses like you that fear police brutality, when you just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. 1 - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.

Volourn Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Policer thuggery is never acceptable. The police should be better than the thugs they arrest let alone beating up on the accused or the arrested is not a good diea since it is supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. EPIC FAIL DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

During the mark-up of the ACA bill, however, lawmakers inserted a provision (Section 1312(d)(3)(D)) that requires members of Congress and designated congressional staff members to obtain their health insurance through ACA exchanges rather than continue to receive their healthcare coverage through the FEHBP. As of 1 January 2014, Members of Congress (MOC) and Congressional staff purchase their insurance through the District of Columbia’s small business health options program (SHOP) exchange, also known as DC Health Link. Contrary to popular belief, Congressional members do not receive free health care. As it does for other federal employees who purchase their insurance through the FEHBP, the federal government provides a subsidy equivalent to 72 percent of the weighted average of all FEHBP premiums. Therefore, MOC and staff pay approximately 28 percent of their annual healthcare premiums through pre-tax payroll deductions. Although DC’s SHOP offers a total of 57 different ACA insurance plans at the bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels, the Office of Personnel Management has ruled that MOC and staff may only receive the employer contribution if they purchase insurance at the gold tier. If we look solely at the District of Columbia’s SHOP health plans and federal employer contributions, Members of Congress receive benefits very similar to those enjoyed by any employee of a large company. The bottom line is this: Members of Congress and their staff members are required by law to purchase their health insurance through the exchanges offered by the Affordable Care Act. However, the federal government subsidizes approximately 72 percent of the premium cost."
Orogun01 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 snip Actually, you'd be surprised how many people are willing to wait for a payoff and how little it matters if the goods are defective. The customer will complain but that is why products are sold to retailers and not directly to the customer and on the case of a niche product you could easily pack up and start again. It is real easy to scam people and turn it into a business, all you need is the right pedigree and the right connections. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.

Guard Dog Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 BTW Malcador, you were right it seems. This whole trans ban thing was all Trump's idea, not a reccomendation from the JCS. Apparently he felt there was not enough chaos in his administration and had to stir up some more. Like I've been saying for 9 months now... don't blame me I voted for Johnson. Guard Dog Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 No, a Trump re-election is not unrealisitc. There are pleny of flawed Democrats who could go in there is completely screw this up. And if they didn't they would be in office and we would be no better off. This two party system we have become stuck in is quckly becoming a binary death trap. Who was the last major party nominee that was not seriously flawed? George HW Bush? And going back to 2008 & 2012. Had McCain or Romney won their elections does anyone really think they would have done anything different than Obama did? Two tribes fighting tooth and nail because each want's "their" chief to be the one to do what either will do. And the tragedy of it is we are only stuck with it because we think we are. 3rd party candidates only lose because people think they are wasting their vote. If enough people decide enough is enough those votes won't be wasted, they will change things. 1 "While it is true you learn with age, the down side is what you often learn is what a damn fool you were before" Thomas Sowell
