As of 3.02, it should be in the Abbey of the Fallen Moon.

I hope so! :)

Wait, will do a quick test...

edit: sure do!  :dancing:

I think it should be reported as a bug weapon + armor should stack but weapon + weapon are of the same type they shouldn't.

Also the ring of combusting wounds(old item I know) seems buged as well because one can cast the spell from there and it's always autohit.

Why? It's only +2 CON and you have to duplicate the sword for it. So you can't duplicate any other more powerful item. I don't think that's worth a nerf. And it's also not a bug. Weapon enchantements always stacked with everything. Two Godansthunyr also will give you +2 MIG by the way.

Hey guys,

Just to confirm, it's intended for weapon stats to stack with each other. So duping a weapon and equipping them both is supposed to give you the stat bonuses of each =)

I wanted to ask something about stacking for the longest time: I wanted to enchant Hirbel's Protective Skin with durgan refined iron ingot for combined bonus from armor and enchantment (of 25 crits to hits conversion) but it doesn't stack. Armor base enchantment is supressed by durgan one.

Is it so by design? If so, why does Old Gerun's Wall's enchantment stacking with durgan one (for 25 hits to grazes conversion)?

^ fairly sure it's a bug. By design Durgan Steel should stack with everything IIRC.

Because all bonuses on weapons/shield stack with everything. If you have the same kind of bonus on armor (doesn't matter if it's on the same piece) the weakest will be suppressed. The same thing happens with a durgan enchanted Colored Coat - the -10% armor speed penalty will be suppressed.

The biggest shame of The White March is that the best helmet is so ugly. Now, not only does my character have a floating skull following her, but a skull covering her head.

Apparently The Watcher is into goth or something, A pity that the actual matching helmets that look good are pretty weak.

That Maegfolc Skull is not *that* fugly once you get used to it. You can give it to a Druid with Meneha's outfit and Durance's staff and you've got a rad-looking shaman :p

I agree, however, that I'd rather have those effects on a better looking piece of headgear (cough cough Sanguine Plate Helm cough cough)

As promised:

xvIvwfT.jpg

Has anyone found this in game? I just finished WM2 and I never saw it.

In another tread devs posted they forgot to place it, so not until patch or console.

This is correct. Due to a minor (or maybe major for some people  ;) ) oversight, this item was accidentally never placed in the game for the initial White March II release.

It's now been placed, and can be found

in the Abbey next to the salt well.

=)

This is by design. As mentioned by Kaylon, the weakest bonus on armor and accessories will be suppressed by the strongest. The bonus should stack with other sources though, which is why it works with Old Gerun's Wall.

Hope that helps!

So if we apply Durgan Steel to a weapon with Annihilation, the crit damage bonus from Durgan Steel is suppressed? If so, the UI does not communicate that (but IIRC Josh once said it should stack?)

It seems that all weapon and shield enchants do stack without suppression. Edited by MaxQuest
