Agiel
Posting the URL instead of the actual image given that it's quite salty, to say the least. It is also horribly politically incorrect and though most of you won't find it offensive per se, you will probably harbour some contempt, especially if you loathe gangsta rap... That said, it can't be denied that they guy who made this totally nailed the voice: http://img.pr0gramm.com/2014/05/16/e8a82e438d1b883e.jpg Edited May 26, 2014 by Agiel Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling
ManifestedISO
^ I laughed quite a bit, but I'm waiting until someone else says it's okay before admitting to it. For MCU fans, Director Phil Coulsen, aka Clark Gregg, did an hour-long podcast at nerdist. Some good comedy and banter if you like string theory and superheroes. I didn't realize Gregg was a fan of Avengers comics since back in the day, and that Joss Whedon made a point of hiring actors for Agents of SHIELD that have an affinity for the subject. The craziest thing was--you know that time when you learn in life your unique identifier isn't so unique--Gregg goes by his middle name, same as me, his first name is actually Robert, same as me, which is the name of his father, same as me! I knew it! I am an Agent! Edited May 27, 2014 by ManifestedISO All Stop. On Screen.

Azdeus
3 Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Keyrock
"You cannot be bad at watching a movie" Yes, yes you can. For example, I will not watch a movie with my parents, because they won't shut the **** up during the movie, which makes it rather hard for me to follow the plot. My parents are bad at watching movies. 5 RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks
Amentep
I'd think people who are bad at watching movies would also include people who miss stuff that's in the movie and then complain how that same stuff wasn't explained despite the fact that it was, in fact, explained in the movie. But he is right in that the movie doesn't stop you from watching it because you're watching it wrong. Edited May 28, 2014 by Amentep 1 I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
