Gorth Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 Not sure I follow you. The assumption is that the username and password (and e-mail) are linked in the db, so they'd have four different names and passwords for you. Not sure how it makes life harder for anyone than you... Are you using the same passwords on other sites, is that the point? Or four separate identities that you use nowhere else? For the record, this is genuine interest, I' d like to understand if there's an advantage from this approach, but I'm still not getting it if there is. The way I (still) see it is that having a minimal amount of information per singular database (in this case the EA/Origin one) is the safer option... :/ My logins are not "related". For all intent and purposes, they look like three different users with three different emails. One for each game. Curses, I thought it was four, but my DA and ME2 accounts are related. I forgot I got that silly DA Blood Dragon armour for whathisname commander of the Normandy. Grave oversight on my part, as I try to keep them separate. More a cause of concern is that I use this login name for a few other forums, which resulted me in changing passwords when NMA got hacked Edit: Those EA accounts are then again different from any other login I've got on the net, which was the original point. A "pattern" I've started practicing ever since facebook felt free to distribute my "not shared with anyone" email addresses to scammers a few years ago. “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Morgoth Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Starbreeze working on PSN game Rain makes everything better.
Morgoth Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 More NextXbox rumor nonsense Already arriving in 2012? According to the french site, the next Xbox will have a CPU with 6 cores, AMD GPU and 2Gb DDR3 RAM. If that's true, it's a total joke. Rain makes everything better.
Morgoth Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Future Final Fantasy games to become Action-RPGs? The Spirits Within Mass Effect style RPG made by Obsidian would be a start. Rain makes everything better.
entrerix Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 so instead of making a final fantasy game in the spirit of 6-9, they've decided to go the opposite route and just keep getting further and further from when they were actually making great games? whatever, clearly the people in charge of the final fantasy franchise have completely lost sight of what made the franchise's popularity explode. Or it could come up like a great Japanese action-RPG like the Tales series, or Radiata Stories, or Drakengard, or the Secret of Mana series. Yep, Japan isn't known for making Action-RPGs, you're totally right. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.

Yep, Japan isn't known for making Action-RPGs, you're totally right. Hmmm...all of those except MAYBE the Mana series stunk compared to Western Action RPGs. Even a game I thought was so..so... that I just finished, War in the North blows any of those out of the water in relation to action RPGs. Then again, FF lost me wtih FFXIII. Sort of have no interest in the FF series anymore after that one. If I hear REALLY good things about FFXIII-2 I MIGHT buy it. Currently it's not even on the list...which is a shame. I bought one of the original 60gig PS3s specifically because originally FXIII was coming out for the PS3. When I got it...that was the disappoinment of the century...well at least the decade for Video Games.
Raithe Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hm, I've only ever actually played.. Final Fantasy.. VII. No.. actually it was VIII. Yes, the one with Squall, Rinoa and Balamb Garden. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
