I was going to check it out today, after hearing about yesterday, but it seems they've already transitioned over to Crysis Wars, which I don't have yet. So, maybe in a couple weeks. I'm interested in hearing how it is. Well, I tried it out a bit. Needs some time to get used to. You start a match with 49,000 C-Bills and elemental armor and can buy weapons or tank or 'mechs, the latter two with 4-5 variants (no customising yet). There's a ****load of key commands you need to memorize, tho less than in MW4. There's some control issues with tanks, my harasser constantly fell over. Tale Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Combat in Witcher is based on timing followup attacks for a combo and switching stances/swords based on enemies. Like one stance is better for area attacks. And one sword is better for monsters. That kind of thing. It's a juggling/timing act. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that. What makes combat interesting is the necessity to learn about monsters' strengths and weaknesses and preparing in advance with the correct oils and potions. At least, on hard difficulty.
