Malcador
For some reason I'm struggling to get into Civ 4. Played the utter hell out of the first three, so it's a bit weird. I blame the lack of a hardcopy manual :D Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Deraldin
For some reason I'm struggling to get into Civ 4. Played the utter hell out of the first three, so it's a bit weird. I blame the lack of a hardcopy manual :D Did you buy the gold edition or did the vanilla game not come with a manual? I know that my special edition came with a nice spiral bound manual. No quite as nice as Baldur's Gate 2, but certainly up there. I've been bouncing between games. I'm at the last fight in The Last Remnant, I've been playing an hour or two of Left 4 Dead with friends most nights. On top of that I'm really itching to start my Infinity Engine game marathon. I will play and finally finish them all this summer.

Hurlshort
I've been logging a lot of time on Arcanum, I'm already further than I ever made it in previous games. I just solved a murder case in Caladon, and now I think I'm going to head to visit the Dark Elves after finding some cursed book. I also had some issues with the firearms master. Nutcase killed himself! At least I got his fancy rifle.
Maria Caliban
Hasn't the X-Men comic always been aimed at kids/teens? There have been dozens of 'X-men comics.' X-Factor, The New Mutants, X-Men, The X-Man, Uncanny X-Men, Alpha Flight, Excaliber, X-Force, etc. Wolverine has had his own comic since 1988 and it usually has the same level of violence/gore as The Punisher. I've never been fond of Wolverine. One of my favorite images is the Hulk ripping him in half. Edited May 5, 2009 by Maria Caliban "When is this out. Morgoth
Cryostasis. Very unpolished and horribly optimized game, but despite these flaws, it's quite interesting. It's also scary, thanks to the superb audio. Rain makes everything better.

Musopticon?
I've never been fond of Wolverine. One of my favorite images is the Hulk ripping him in half. oof, that hurt just looking at the picture. did he heal? taks He dragged himself up a mountainside for 2 kilometers with nothing but his hands, just to get back his lower body. Yeah, he healed, but I bet it hurt a bit. Anyhow, I just won an Altar of Luonnotar-victory in the Civ 4 total conversion, Fall from Heaven 2. Had to create 6 greath prophets, sacrifice each one in the same city to create a better and better altar(from basic to anointed to exalted to blessed, etc), gaining more and more benefits to priest specialists and happiness and culture boni throughout the empire. The seventh phase of the alter, the final phase, needs to be built normally. It required 6000 h in production, so naturally I first used 2 great engineers to get it down to an acceptable level(only 69 turns, lol) and then turned my great person farms to produce more great engineers. Eventually I had conquered almost half the world with my massive army of undead sea monsters and insane cultists, but I really wanted to see the Luonnotar ending. It's not often you resurrect a forgotten god. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. SadExchange
Been playing some Sacred 2 on the pc waiting for the Xbox 360 release in the next couple weeks. Really excited for this game as my pc doesn't play th game too well, even on low, and it seems like Ascaron has done well with the configuration on the Xbox controller. I really enjoying the immense amount of loot to be had and the online multiplayer will be quite a bit of fun. Anyone else interested in this title? I heard spell targeting is going to be iffy on the 360. Something about having a targeting reticle. Do you know anything about that? Otherwise, it's the co-op title I'm most excited about right now. And perfect fodder before Diablo 3. Spell targeting or ranged targeting is done for you, and while that may seem iffy, I think it'll work out pretty well with the amount of enemies on the screen. I know some area of effect spells that are shot are always a certain space from you and you just get used to it, from what I hear because it'll always be the same spot. WILL THE ALMIGHTY
Lost Odyssey - Now on Disc 3 after the omgwtf apocalypse . I wish my entire party wasn't so split up, but otherwise this is a long and great game. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!" Pidesco
I'm listening to Mirror's Edge remixes CD while the game installs, and it's pretty atrocious. While the vocals version of the song is bad enough, the added gaggle of remixes is enough to make me suicidal. cronicler
Tel Aviv: You might want to try the Unofficial patches. They tidy up a lot of weird logic moments in the story (due to restoring cut out content in some places) and also tidy up the engine performance in general. IG. We kick ass and not even take names. taks
i'm out of games to play. i can't bring myself to finish M&M6 because the tomb of varn is just soooo boring and tedious that even my 6-year old child got tired of it. maybe if i played it drunk or something... finished MoW. not sure i want to do the evil path yet. soz is still trudging along, but i don't want to play it out at the moment. sigh... FO3? not sure if post apoc is my thing. i tried 1 and 2 and was unimpressed. sorry fanbois, just not my cupotea (of course, playing the BGs first may have influenced my opinion on the FO games). taks comrade taks... just because. Jaesun
Installed Bloodlines earlier today... again. Are either of the unofficial patches any good? I've yet to try. Yes. I have re-played Bloodline multiple times, with and without Wesp's patches. Wesp's patch really fix a ton of bugs/errors, and the restored stuff is very good. I highly recommend you play with them.
