Gfted1 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 My "headbutt" specialist. Whats that symbol for your 4th party member supposed to represent? That's a bat. Like a familiar or a summon. Ah, I see it now, thanks. Looked weird on this work LCD, like a normal hand holding hands with a gauntleted hand. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Starwars Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 interesting. one thing i did not like in the OC was that there were often extremely bifurcated options, and picking the one that your character _should_ pick (based on your personal role choice) created losses in influence that should have been qualified with a sort of "but, here's why i think this and why i think <NPC> should agree..." and subsequently, no influence penalty. Definetely agree with that. Though I don't think stuff like that will be all over the conversations, but I really hope there will be a few more situations like that. Just found my second companion. mkreku Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Uhm.. How do I change from Strategy cam to Character cam? I am trying to make it more like FPS controls since top-down SUCKS BIGTIME (my camera always gets stuck behind some rock or other). Worthless manual says nothing. It talks about camera modes that I don't even have in my game. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

Dark_Raven Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 WTF? Why is an American game being released in Europe first? It should be released here first. Damn those Euros! Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Meshugger Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Oh bu-huh! Big Bottom Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Well I've got my copy right here, and the kicker is I'm not even going to play it till I get my new PC. Hahahahahaha! The best flash game ever!
Atom523 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I apologize if this has been asked before but something bothered me in the OC that i am a bit worried about here. Things like most NPCs ignoring what race you were and treating you the same regardless. Things like showing up at Fort Locke as a Tiefling and them simply accepting you even though soldiers were just about to kill Neeshka for being one, or showing up as a Drow and them not even blinking an eye. My first character was a Tiefling paladin and no one even found the combination odd. Does anyone know if they have made the dialog a bit more reflective based on what you are?
Big Bottom Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Given the vast number of race and class combinations, I doubt it. It does break immersion a little but since they'd have to spend half the budget on dialogue for all those different races I'll let them off. The best flash game ever!
Pidesco Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah, the word count in NWN2 would have increased exponentially if they did that. Meshugger Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hey, what do you know, i found my copy when i was shopping groceries today. Tonight is poker-night, but tomorrow... Sand Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah, the word count in NWN2 would have increased exponentially if they did that. It would still be less than Planescape-Torment. :'( Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" Jora Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Where can I find the CD key? There's nothing inside the box and no mention of it in the manual.
Gfted1 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 ^Try the back flap of the manual? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Jora Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 ^Try the back flap of the manual? Oh, there it is! Thanks. The place was so obvious but at the same time easy to miss.
Big Bottom Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 OK I buckled and installed, just started the NWN2 campaign as a spirit shaman since I still haven't even got much into Act 2 yet. Seems to run a lot smoother than before, thumbs up for that! The best flash game ever!

Enoch Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 If I start a new character in NWN2 now, will I be able to take a MotB PrC in the base NWN2 campaign when I install it in a couple weeks?
Pop Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 And will the new PrCs have 10 or 20 total levels? Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!

Big Bottom Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 (edited) Bumped into two bugs I never had before in the main campaign, both show-stoppers. First Georg never appeared after gathering the militia in the village and now Daeghun (sp?) keeps telling me to go and get the shard even though it's in my pocket. Think I'll just skip NWN2 and go straight to MotB since I can't be arsed restarting...though if anyone has a savegame at the beginning of Act 2 I'd be grateful. Monk would be awesome but I'll take anything at this point so long as it's not evil. *suddenly remembers the size of a NWN2 savegame* OK, if anyone with gigs of bandwidth has one I'd certainly appreciate it.
