As far as color crystals go, which was the rarest? Or did you find them to be more or less random like its supposed to be? Also, which color did you like best?

I've found bronze to be the rarest, as I've never actually found one. I like cyan the best.

Ah, I loike silver the best, and am like you, as I never found a bronze crystal.

 

IMHO, viridian was a pointless crstal, as it look more or less the same as green...

I've found bronze once in 9 games....and viridian(If you have a high-def(something like that) tv is a bit more silverish.) Bronze is the rarest I've found..but it just looks a little bit more brown than orange...barely noticeable.

Definelty Cyan and Bronze. On my first playthrough, I found only one Bronze Crystal and no Cyan Crystals. On my second playthrough, I found no Bronze Crystals and only one Cyan Crystal.

I dunno. Red is most common, but one time or two I went through it all without getting one blue crystal.

Well Bronze seems to be the rarest, but I don't think I ever found that.

Of the ones that I did find, there were heaps which I only found one of, so they were the rarest in my list:

Silver, Cyan, Viridian (sp?), Violet, Green, Yellow

 

Yes, a lot of basic colours there...but can't get rarer than 1!

In terms of non-color crystals, the rarest one I found was the ANKARRES SAPPHIRE. It was very useful, with its STR+2, DEX+1, REGENERATION+2, and KEEN. I've never found any other "rare" crystal.

I somehow mananged to come across all the rare colour crystals, but I never actually used them. They felt tacky to me for some reason. I felt like a power-gamer or a cliche` video game guru who's character must be absolutely different and totally unique in every single way. I just go with a green lightsabre. I'm not so insecure as to need some alternative colour!

I found all the colors in my first playthrough apart from bronze. And in my second playthrough I found that too. :D

If you reload the game when you stand in front of Samhan Dobo, the only crystals you cannot get are the Viridian and Bronze crystals. Bronze looks exactly the same as an Orange though. I never had any problem getting one yet.

It's more of a problem to get a very good crystral like the Ankarres Sapphire, Ultima Pearl or the Kaiburr though. You really have to have a lot of luck and a very high level

Pfft. You can keep your Ankarres Saphire, Ultima Pearl, Kaiburr Crystal and whatnot. Darth Malak's Armor beats them all in terms of scarcity.

I get an Ankarre's saphire almost every playthrough >.>...I usually put it in with my named crystal and wham! ^_^

i had two ultima pearls at the end of the game. i got one from onderon and another at trayus academy, from one of the footlockers next to the final workbench. :D my luck was good.

I hope this isn't true, but if pure luck (independent of your stats or quests) is involved with some of the items, well, that's a pretty lame way to add to the replay value,

A lightsaber with the Cyan crystal always stays ignited.

In my first playthough i found 10 violets so i became sick of them. On subsequent playthroughs i have found red to be the most elusive

I found one bronze crystal on my first playthrough. On my subsequent games I've not seen hide nor hair of one anywhere.

i always found reds and purples

 

i found like one silver aside from the one already in my saber and one viridian, a blue and a bronze

 

what colour is cynan anyway?

Cyan is a light blue its like the colour of obi wan's saber in A New Hope (which was probably supposed to be regular blue but didnt show up properly on screen).

There was one game where all I got were purple short lightsabers. Had about 4 of them.

How did you come up with this correlation between lightsabre colour preferences and insecurity?

In my 3 times through the game I have only ever found one cyan crystal so I would say that is the rarest. I've found loads of every other type.
