The best thing about covid is that you can blame almost every delay on it. :)

Dunno if this has been mentioned at some point before, and it's not really my type of game (per usual) but seems like something some around here might be interested in. Of course this is Alpha so who knows if it'll end up being actually good or not. That said,  I do like the aesthetic/art of it ... dark, creepy, weird.

His voice ain't bad really.

Would have been cool though if he had impromptu changed the song to Pale Shelter.

edit: is that one of the songs no longer in GTA?

Honestly makes me a little sad because we may never get a proper POE3

I don't think there is a connection. PoE3 is not in the works for a couple of reasons, but as long as the studio is doing well, there is a chance they revisit it down the road with a small team.

Little late on this news, but I also haven't been on these forums in months so that makes sense.

Little Big Adventure AKA Twinsen's Adventure or Rentless: Twinsen's Adventure or Little Big Adventure: Twinsen's Adventure and Little Big Adventure 2 AKA Twinsen's Odyssey are getting a sequel. It's been over 20 years but it's happening. This is probs my most anticipated game now.

New company involves both the main guys who made the first two.

Sadly there is not. :p But depending on how well the sales go, we might add more camel related stuff in the future. We'll see.

Wish it were that simple. Lots of people qq already over the current price, and IMO we low-balled it already specifically because of that.

Wait wait wait, Lexx has something to do with the ARMA team??  WTF??

A little bit, but also not really. We are "external contractors" of sorts.

That said, 82% positive on Steam. So yay, I guess.

Spencer is so good at making positive sounds that my worry becomes that he's in danger of being promoted outside the gaming division. :ninja: The good PR may be all smoke and mirrors of course, but it kinda does show how it's really not that hard to look like a good guy compared to the industry standard.

...and it also shows how easily I could find myself being swayed by smooth words. I have to admit I sometimes have difficulty reconciling my position regarding the danger of growing monopolies in this space against outcomes that so far have been largely positive for me as a consumer.

Obviously we can never be completely sure with people we are exposed to only in the virtual world. But in Spencer's case, he does have a solid track record of numerous interviews over several years in which he's come across (to me) as both a stand-up guy and also a competent guy who knows what he's doing.

Yeah, probably healthier for me too not to be too cynical. It helps as well that despite their financial might, Microsoft are the smaller player in games than the likes of Valve and Sony, so it doesn't feel like I'm tipping the scales towards (to mix metaphors) where they're already leaning.

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

I mean, I liked PoE systems and writing, but one thing i hate in my fantasy settings are guns. I really hate it and it ruins PoE a bit for me

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

Excellent work by the way. You know I always support Germany and recognize its important role in the EU so   you can  definitely consider me a friend, can you get me free copy of this game? That is what friends do to help other friends 8)
