  1. Loading save file opens the game at the right time(chests, base and completion) But the caracter/bagpack/milkmolars/mutations are from the earliest save. (Missing all bagpack items) Tried to load all save file from that game but it still opens at that same point. Any ideas why his happened? Thank you!
  2. Platform: PC - Steam S or M?: Multiplayer Issues: Game is crashing when it tries to display Saves available to host. Shared saves will not display. Shared save will be missing our player constructed items. Description: The game may lead to crashes when trying to load saves to host. After restarting, the game may not show shared saves. After restarting, the game may crash when trying to load saves. After restarting, the shared save may disappear. After restarting, the shared save will lack all in-game progress forcing us to restart and try again. When functional, game will load save and all will be normal. Began: Issue began after Homestretch update went live. It might be placebo but there was no noticeable issue during the public beta. Troubleshooting - No updates or changes to Windows. Already attempted to both verify and reinstall the game with no improvement. Attempted to log out of Live and log back in. Created New Shared Save post-update. This has been occurring for two days consecutively for both my friend and I on the Steam copy. If we are lucky, the game will load available saves and we can host without it crashing. This means multiple attempts to load and play the game hoping it does not crash prior to selecting and loading a save. If the save is missing our constructed assets, we will attempt to load the save again to solve it.   3. Not sure if this has been covered. I've been playing fine today, but tonight the game kept crashing to desktop upon autosave, normal saving and trying to load a save. I can start a new game but when I try to save it crashes again. I'm playing through Microsoft store with gamepass. UPDATE #1: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. This seems to have fixed the issue for now and my save files were kept. I'll update further if it happens again.

I can see where my save files that I was literally playing last night are (C:\Users\username\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds Windows 10\__LOCAL__), but the game won't acknowledge them at all any more. I'm guessing this because I signed in to my Xbox Live account and didn't originally start the game with that account or something? But that doesn't make sense because I only have one Game Pass, on that account. I say this because I noticed my gamertag in the bottom right corner, which I don't remember being there. Is there a way to bring these saves back? Am I just screwed and have to start all over again, even though they're right there where they should be?
  5. Has anybody heard if there's work being done to speed up the area load times? Right now it's just painful.
  6. I have currently come to a complete halt in my playtrough due to not being able to visit Queen's Berth. I have run trough that area multiple times, but today when I loaded my savegame I would consistently crash few seconds after loading the zone. I have had a good 50 hours played so far. I have attached the output log and the DxDiag.txt system specs.   7. Good day Guys, Let me start by saying, I'm loving the game thus far. I have been playing on my Macbook Pro, I've had very little time to play so squeezing it in there. Game is over Steam I went to go play on my big computer 5k iMac. And for some reason, steam shows that DLC are installed. However, in the games load screen, it shows "Missing DLC". How do I fix this? I've included screenshots I've also tried unchecking the DLC's in steam shutting it down the starting and putting it back. Which, didn't seem to make a difference. I've also tried the validate game option. I'm stumped at this point as to how to get it going. Thanks
  8. I hope you can help me! I do own this game since July and couldn't hardly play it at all until now! The problem is again and again that the load-button for my savegames is greyed out. In the past it has worked when I have restarted the game a few times again. This method and all other solutions suggested in this forum do not work for me anymore! Not only that I have spent money to be able to play this game, also nobody of Obsidian couldn't help me with this problem! They told me to try it in this forum. You are my last hope! It was often suggested to delete the "LocalLow" oder "LocalTenp" folders. These folders are not created on my PC. At least I can not find them. I do play on steam, using Windows 7 64 bit. I really hope you can help me, since I loved this game so much!! Best ChrisHinrich
  9. Hi, after all the updates, after erasing all my saved files but the only one that I need, after disable the steam cloud, after check through steam that all the files of my game are ok. I still have like 1 minute load time when I press continue at the main screen and 15/20 seconds load time between different areas. Is there any solution that I have not found? Thank you

  11. I'm playing on Steam, so latest game version (also with expansion). Very simply, I quickloaded a save i had in Cilant Lis and Heodan's character was somehow misplaced at the end of the map, in a mob of angry spiders. I would have thought that by now the game was mostly bug free...
  12. Description: After selecting a single character, accessing the options menu via ESC key results in load, save and quit + reassure dialog to malfunction. After clicking either one (accept after quit), the menu drops back into the game. I'd expect either the load or save menu to appear, or the game should quit respectively. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Select a single character by clicking onto the portrait. Hit ESC key and click Load Game for example. I seem to be able to reproduce this almost everywhere. Additional Info: Reselecting the whole group cures this state sometimes. At other times that is not enough and you need to move the whole party around a little to make the menu items work again. This worked for me 99% of the time.   13. Almost every time I boot up this game it takes an incredibly long time to even start doing anything. I click the icon. The game boots with the obsidian logo. I escape or click on the screen and it goes to the load screen. Here is where the issues starts. I load a game and the splash screen pops up and it just hangs with no cursor or anything. I press my mouse it informs me the game has the error apphangb1 and would I like to wait. I wait then I get the hand icon on screen and the splash screen text drops out of frame. Again if I click the mouse I get the apphangb1 error and I wait. Finally I am in game... It can take up to 2 minutes or more for this process. I have only 5 saves and auto saves disabled. I am only in act 2. My loads can be obscenely long or just normal. Occasionally there is some remedy that occurs when I alt tab at a certain time and then for some reason the program gains proper access and I do not get apphangb1 or long load times. However I am unable to figure out what I do that forces the program to take control of the processes and load properly. I have the GoG version. SInce I can get both normal load times and incredibly long load times (with the same data) this is not a problem with my machine. Is there a solution to this problem?

  15. So this just started happening after the last patch. Loading my save file takes roughly 3 minutes. 3 minutes and 6 seconds. I timed it. Previously it would take under ~15 seconds. Also, there is a large amount of lag when opening the inventory, and when switching characters in the inventory page. ~8-9 seconds per page. This happens every time I switch pages or open the screen, it's not caching whatever is taking forever to load. I'd be happy to upload my save file if it helps diagnose the issue.   16. I'm surprised by the lack of any topics about this bug, which leads me to believe that I must be doing something wrong. I hope that is the case, because I love the game enough to want an easy and fast fix. Here's the short of it: I got the "file not found" bug which prevents me from manual saving. Apparently that is easily dismissed, because The Stick of Truth is also supposed to make constant auto-saves. Now, I can find the auto-saves on my computer in the Documents/MyGames/South Park/save chain of files, but the game will not recognize that I have them. When I restart or reinstall the game, I am never presented with the option to load at the main menu. I have attempted to start new characters; their data is never found by the game. I have tried to mess with the administrator privileges for the game and its .exe. Nothing has changed. What can be done? Thank you ahead of time.

  18. So simple question as always. I was little concerned about other thread here on forums by this question. Basicaly I think thats a waste of time to create quests related to death of my party member if its not part of story. It should be nice to have some short quest for those who would play Ironman mode but other than that I dont see much reasons to spend preciouse dev time on such thing but maybe I am in minority on this. Looking for your answears!
