  1. So, people who had a chance to play the new DLC already- is the level cap raised?
  2. The Three are the dragons who became the Guardian of Ukaizo. But I am curious about the empty alcoves. One is Abydon, of course, but who are the other two? I am guessing one of them is probably Rymrgand, because it seems like he physically appears in the Land sometimes, but who (and where) is the last one?
  3. The Engwithans' problem was not that there was no divine magic, but that there was too much of it. Every cult leader believing in some random false god had real power. That's why the Engwithans tried to discover the truth about the gods, and discovered there were none
  4. Same issue, playing as old blood Principi. You can just walk past and exit the map if you want to continue playing. The rest of the endgame is unaffected
  5. Sigil of Death doesn't have any immunities. The ones that do can be dealt with AOE spells or ranged weapons that don't do pierce damage (the frost bow, that pistol that does raw damage, etc).
  6. It happened to me several times. Once, at sea when loading a save before a scripted event, once when loading a save before talking to Ehrys in the DLC. In my case, that save was borked forever, but reloading a save before that worked. So, hard save often.
  7. I always keep him single class. Yes, mutliclass wizards are great, but I want my Wilting Wind and empowered Minoletta's Missile Barrage, damnit.
  8. Yes, I can think of several occasions where you can lose reputation points for animal cruelty
  9. Each hit from a sigil of death gives you an injury. 4 injuries=death. There are wardstones that protect you from a sigil's effects, which last until the next rest. Also, the range of a warbow or an arquebus is greater than a sigil's pulse area, so you can safely snipe at it from far away without any of your characters getting hit.
  10. If there was ever any chance of the Helwax mold returning, I suspect this thread and this post in particular killed it dead
  11. It seemed close enough when I played it, but that was years ago, so my memory might be playing tricks on me
  12. Not in Eora. In Eora, both are dependent on the strength of your soul (represented as the power level, I guess). The most knowledgeable archmages aren't actually all that tough, compared even to the average dragon (which is completely different from, say, D&D, where the dragon would have basically no chance against a wizard like Elminster)
  13. DOS2 is actually the only Divinity game I was able to play. I am not a fan of Diablo-style ARPGs, so the original didn't do much for me. I am a fan of turn based tactical games, and, by extension, turn-based combat RPGs (i.e Blackguards), but Larian's writing was always atrocious, so I never could tolerate it for long. DOS2's writing isn't good, but it was tolerable (by contrast, I quit DOS1 after an hour), and the combat is pretty decent. There are elements in that game which I actually liked- the ability to play as a Companion, the ability to switch races for undead, etc, but the world and the story are just plain garbage.
  14. All of Eco's works are basically full of references and in-jokes to one thing or another, and half the fun is figuring out what they are. They're essentially puzzles as much as they are novels. Personally, I enjoy them, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.
  15. Why? It's a decent mystery novel in an unusual setting with lots and lots of absolutely brilliant literary and historical jokes.
  16. Most of the physical feats in PoE are actually magical in nature- like Charge, Rogues teleporting or turning invisible, etc. Since we know the soul affects the body (see: Pallegina's quest in Deadfire), high Might probably means "strong soul"
  17. All the gods are massive hypocrites, and that's intended by the devs. They constantly betray their own principles- see Rymrgand refusing to annihilate the souls of his followers because he needs them as soul batteries, or Woedica being the goddess of legal authority, but also abuse of power.
  18. Last night, I got a really weird party management bug. I used the tavern's party management tab at the Wild Mare to switch Aloth out for Xoti, and the switch happened successfully, but the portrait did not update and continued to show Aloth. Clicking on the portrait did not activate the character, so it wasn't merely the graphical bug when a companion shows the wrong portrait (had a few of those, too). Leaving the area through a load screen fixed the issue.
