I do also think is disappointing to be able to be the following personalities in Kotor II: The LS Jedi - Who is nice to everyone and only draws his/her lightsaber when necessary. The DS Jedi - Who saves the galaxy but takes lots of advantages from the force by persuading people to give you money / weapons, kill when they are arrogant to you are unfair, never give money to anyone. This one never kills a Jedi Master and works with / for the Ithorians / Refugees / Militia / Royalists. (Yes, it's possible to gain DS Mastery without killing one masters and work with all the good guys). The LS Sith - Who is nice to anyone except Jedi Masters who exiled you out of the Jedi order (Why not, LS Mastery, and kill all the Jedi masters). The DS Sith - Exactly the opposite of the LS Jedi. Works with all the Bad guys. Kills almost everyone who crosses him / her. While in Kotor I you can be: A LS Jedi A DS Sith or a DS Jedi (Who gets really mad at Bastila and Malak in the end and therefore is recognized as a jedi in the SW universe). I think that's really it. I really miss this temple moment. The beginning of the End game in the rebuilt Jedi enclave is nothing compared to the end in Kotor I. As is the rest of this end game no doubt.

Obsidian why was the game generally too easy?
hawk replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I guess Obsidian had a few idea's to make some enemies in Kotor II tough, like the Sith captains on Freedon Nadd tombs which have about 800 vp. I always like to kill those captains, 8 Master flurries into them each time! Fun! The Storm beasts on Malachor V are quiet tough. Try to kill one with the remote, only if you have lots of grenades left. Quiet Funny. What isn't so great is that you sometimes have to have two party members. It can be quiet nice to try to do the game completly solo. Way more fun. I don't know if it compares to doing the Star Forge Solo though. I remember some though opponents in the first game: Vulkar gang Brejik Bendak Starkiller Sherruk Albino Kathhound Sandpeople (especially when you do Tatooine first) The Dark jedi were more tough in the first game, they actually use a lot of force powers. The two Terentateks in Naga sadows tomb Rancors and the Black Rakata The Sith master in the temple. All the Dark Jedi in the Star forge. Darth Malak But lets not forget the enemies you have to beat with some strategy: the Rancor in the sewers the Krayt Dragon the Monster Firaxa shark They forget to do this in Kotor II. -
If that is the case how many True Sith have we seen: Palpatine, Darth Maul, Marka Ragnos for sure. I don't know too much about Ludo Kressh, Naga Sadow. Were these guys True Sith? And yes, the Rakata have little to do with the rising of these new "true Sith". The Rakata have dominated the universe before the years of the Republic which wiped out the Sith a 1000 years before Kotor. I do hope that we have to fight the Racial Sith in Kotor III though. It's definetly something new. A little bit off topic but if there are true Sith / Racial Sith, are there any True Jedi / Racial Jedi then. I was thinking about Vandar and Yoda being Racial Jedi / True Jedi in that case.

Well, there is a recording on the Harbinger that tells something about a Sith Vessel, the boarding parties from the Harbinger didn't found anyone alive within this "Sith Vessel" only a Sith Corpse (Sion). I assumed this Sith vessel was the Ravager and I believe I have read somewhere on this forum that there was some cut content regarding the Ravager. There is also all these Sith Troopers on Peragus which you can blast while you are in the Ebon Hawk. Quiet unlikely that the Ravager wasn't there.

It is so bbbboooorrrriiiinnnnggg to spend days to reach level 50 to finally have loads of force powers and finding about exactly the same loot you find at level 35 or so. Why don't you try cheating. You can also cheat by giving enough Xp to go to level 50.

There should be some way of a possibility to develop a Mod which enables an Echani Dueling shield to shine all the time if that's what you want.

My theory of what happened before Kotor II: Sion and Nihilus never were Jedi. As far as I can tell, they were spawned by the horrors of the Mandalorian wars, spawned by the Exile. Revan send the Ebon Hawk back to republic space, and by doing so T3-M4's backup program kicked in, which told him to delete the location of Revan (to ensure Revans safety should the location fall into the wrong hands) and following up on Bastila's / Carth's order to return to the republic or find other Jedi. During this returning for other Jedi / the Republic, the (who knows "True") Sith on board the Ravager (Nihilus / Sion) found the Ebon Hawk flying away from a true Sith World (Maybe this is Malachor V). Before the Sith launched the attack the Ebon Hawk escaped by jumping to Hyperspace. The Ravager followed the Ebon Hawk and came to it's destination: the Republic Cruiser called the Harbinger and was recognized by the Sith as the Ebon Hawk's destination. Allthough the Jedi (Exile) on board the Harbinger could not be detected through the force (yet), The Sith had an interest in the Republic Vessel. Sion allowed himself to be captured by feigning death (which he probably learned from Kreia), during the capture the Sith Assasins where able to board the Harbinger, they found out that there was a Jedi on board the vessel which marked the beginning of Kotor II. Kreia tells you that Nihilus / Sion and herself were not the true Sith. I however think this is not true. Off course, there are more Sith than just Nihilus and Sion but how else was the Ravager be able to find the Ebon Hawk. Finding the Ebon Hawk in space is looking for a 1 mm needle in a haystack of about 10000000000 km wide. Then there is the thing where Kreia boarded the Ebon Hawk. Was it on the True Sith world were Revan send the ship back to the Republic? Why not. Did T3-M4 first found Kreia before he found the Exile? Maybe, that's true if Revan left the Ebon Hawk on Malachor V. I am off course looking forward to what the developers think are the true sith. If there will be a Kotor III, we should know.

That's exactly what I am talking about. If you have a low demolition skill (4 for example), have 15 Minor mines in your inventory. Place 15 mines (on top of each other takes the least time) in one area. Then move to another area. Head back to the mines and disarm them. If you have Kreia in your party it will go quicker because of the Xp bonus. You can go to level 50 on Peragus if you want.

Ever thought how Atris came about???
hawk replied to bulletkid's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmm, never thought about this. Yes, I only watched AOTC one's after I played Kotor II. That explains something. Good work bulletkid. -
It doesn't really matter at what level you will obtain your crystal. You will achieve the "The crystal radiates an immense amount of light, almost blinding anyone who looks at it" at level 33. It is not possible to get to this level by doing only all the quests and kill all enemies. You should do the mining trick or kill a lot of Hssiss's until you are on that level and off course ensure that you haven't found all masters at that point (including Vash) since then Kreia will not be talking to you anymore to upgrade your crystal.

Yes, well if www.kotor3.com is bought and this Francisco is waiting for Lucasarts to buy the domain then he might as well buy: www.doom4.com www.quake4.com www.unreal3.com www.halo3.com www.battlefield3.com To name a few. Succeeding the companies to buy the domains for large sums of money however, he never will.

To respond to the title of this Topic. Why do 2 Jedi Masters attack me when I killed the "Sith in disguise" Jedi Master Vrook. Why don't I have a chance to make up a story lying about Vrook that he turned to the DS or something. I mean, almost everyone on this forum hates Vrook. If Zez Kai Ell and Kavar were so open minded and so easily influenced by Vrook, then why can't the Exile influence them if Vrook isn't there. New scene for Rebuilt Jedi Enclave: Exile.. enters the Jedi Enclave Zez Kai Ell: Where is Vrook Exile: [Lie] O, forgot to tell you, he turned to the DS, tried to save him but as usual he didn't listen. Kavar: Vrook, DS, no, Vrook would never turn DS! Exile: [Force Persuade] I am telling you the truth. Kavar: Yes, you are telling me the truth Zez Kai Ell: Wake up Kavar, exile is using mind trick. Exile: [Master Force Persuade] (Works with more characters) I am telling you the truth, Vrook turned to the DS Zez Kai Ell / Kavar: You are telling us the truth, Vrook turned DS. Exile: Now, we have to team up and destroy the sith Kavar: Yes I suppose so. Let's destroy the Sith Zez Kai Ell: Really, well Exile did everything right from the beginning. It's time we do things right too! Let's destroy the Sith. Kreia walks in: What? do you actually agree one thing with the Exile?? NNNNOOOOO! I hate you, I hate the force. Me destroy you! Exile, Zez Kai Ell, Kavar: Huh! Exile: I guess she is the first Sith we have to destroy.

Yes, if they put their attention on graphics then the game will probably fail. Sure, if the effects can be good it might be all right but I don't like a game which takes up 10 Gb of hard disk space just because the graphics are so cool. Give us the best storyline possible please. The improvements we have seen in Kotor II were IMO not a great add-on. Sure, I like the full screen: pazaak, level up, alignment, quests screens etc. Influence, Computer holograms, new items; shame about the Random Item generator though. Workbench / Lab station make your own upgrades. But I surely dislike the unfinished story, plotholes and unfinished quests. I do hope that Kotor III if it will be made and I think it will should: A) Not be rushed B) Not be made with many more of these add-ons like we have seen in this game (Kotor II) C) Should be made with the best storyline possible! And I do think that is possible. Revenge of the Sith just did it. You can do it as well. I have fait in that.

Hidden Kreia fall movie (ala Emperor/ROTJ style)
hawk replied to Cathari's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmmm... I've played DS once, but got the same last-hour-or-two as a LSer. How did you get it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> did you kill the Jedi Masters? Did Kreia give you the "you are a failure" speech? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, how about did you get Force Crush? -
Dark Side easier ? I don't think so.
hawk replied to ukplankton's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Off course DS is more difficult. More difficult to be completely evil, more difficult to gain influence, but how about more difficult to fight some Jedi masters, fighting Vrook is pretty tough if you pick Dantooine first. I just beat him by placing 15 average frag mines on top of each other. Hmm, I am playing a LS game on the moment but I would like to see how the ending turns out now that I killed Vrook. Yes, I picked up some hints on this forum earlier. -
By the way, your Iziz is actually Dxun. Smuggling on Citadel Station can still be completed, I think. The Merchant Samhan Dobo is the smuggler. You can betray Samhan for LS points to tell Grenn what he wants or you can help Samhan for DS points Starport Visa is one quest you have to complete before you meet Kavar the first time. I believe there are 5 persons you can give a Visa, you receive 2. Changing of the guards is best completed to give the atmospheric sensors to Saedhe (You can eventually get 5000 credits) False Batu is a Bounty quest. You can talk to a Czerka Duros in the docks, pay him 25 credits and he will tell you. Then go back to Grenn for a Reward.

Which is how Atris fell to the DS.

This is a far to open topic I guess but okay, I'll put down some things I know from experience. 1) If you find a Jedi Robe on Peragus or Telos: sell it or break it down to components. You will loose it after you have been to the Polar academy 2) Do not tell Handmaiden that you wish to fight her when she has equipped any armor, you will loose it from your inventory. 3) If you have time and patience you could reload locations until you find some really good items, do this with small areas.

Seriously, try to gain a lot of influence early on. Go to Nar Shaddaa first to pick up Mira. If you have done Nar Shaddaa you could: Dxun: Blow up Kumus Onderon: Let the soldiers take the "journalist" into prison Trade a starport visa for the Qixoni crystal Take HK-47 in your party to agree with him to kill civilians. Don't worry, no civilian is ever killed, you only gain DS points. Kill Bostuco with the computer. You can do this after you met with Kavar to gain all DS points on Onderon but still side with Talya (Tobin will not come back for you if you didn't remove any captains from their post before you met with Kavar) and Bostuco's reincarnation will appear when you come back to Onderon. Dantooine: A really good DS one is to Force persuade Nallek (a mercenary close to the ruins) to: Force persuade: Give me your gun All right, here is my gun Force persaude: Now give me your credits And here are my credits Kill taepale when you first meet the group. Kill Jorran Take the fake holocron Tell the mercenaries you want to kill Vrook. Who doesn't want to kill him when DS? I just did this and I am LS Mastery. Korriban: There are many DS opportunities here in the secret tomb and you can tell that you would have killed Vash if she was still alive. On Nar Shaddaa, after you have Mira in your party there are a lot of DS opportunities here to.

On the Bioware boards, this topic would have been locked or so. I wonder if Baley is one of the following people from the Bioware boards?: Tom Skywalker Revan 2004 Noop Ni to name a few spammers.

Yes, no problem. The two times I went DS they were all alive and I had DS Mastery. Odd! I think you can also kill all off the Jedi masters and have LS Mastery. I never found out since I didn't try it yet. Yeah, I just killed Vrook and the DS points I got when I told the mercenaries in the cave that I wanted to kill Vrook were quickly replaced by healing the wounds of the Koonda Militia troops. Well, I saved Dantooine and killed Vrook. That's a good way of playing the game isn't it. Vrook is not for nothing considered to be the sith in disguise by some of us.

There are ways to gain influence with Bao dur, Handmaiden, Visas, Mira and T3-M4 without gaining to many LS points. You could try this link http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...nfluence++Guide Some ideas: Bao Dur: Nar Shaddaa - Force persuade thugs to jump into the pit Let him inspect the speeder at the Serocco camp and say Good work Bao dur Same on Dantooine with the Atmospheric Sensors Visas: Not to diffucult with DS points. Dantooine - Kill Jorran in the Enclave Sublevel I believe you will also gain influence when you fight Vrook in the Cave Mira: On Onderon you can side with Ponlar first then Anda to remove the captains from their post. Anyway, there are a lot of ways to gain DS points as well as LS points so you really shouldn't worry to much to gain DS mastery if you try to gain maximum influence a.s.a.p.

Tips: 1) Switch your difficulty setting to easy 2) Build lightsabers with Pontite lens, Expert fencing emitter and Ultimate Diatium energy cell and 2 powerful crystals (someone should have the skill to create them 3) How about placing mines before you run to them and start your conversation. Devastating Plasma Mines are great.

Star Maps Or Jedi Masters
hawk replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why don't you give as an idea of what you would like to look for. Or better, post it in a Kotor III topic in the Obsidian General forum. I mean, everybody would want to search for Revan and the Sith in Kotor III, and there could be several ways to accomplish this. Interrogating prisoners, Visit worlds where Revan has been, unlocking the voiceprint code of the navicomputer of the Ebon Hawk etc. etc. etc.
